Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.

Great service overall
I ordered my watch 8.8.22 and got it 15.8.22. The package was nicely wrapped and the watch was in pristine shape. They even paid for my customs which i did not anticipate. Thinking of ordering another timepiece for them in the future. After reading the instructions a couple times even the dates started to be synchronized properly.

That’s a very nice watch, I would have loved it in 39 or 40mm for my wrist, but it’s fine. And I live the fact that it has an automatic swiss movement !

Super fast support
Unfortunately, FedEx simply dropped my package on my doorstep and the package was no longer there. I then contacted Ingersoll support. The support then apologized on behalf of FedEx and credited my order. The problem was solved within a few days, great support.
Ingersoll Support are quick to respond, friendly and work together to find a decent solution.

Simply doesn‘t do what it is supposed…
Simply doesn‘t do what it is supposed to do: to wind watches. The 45° degree angle is just wrong, it should be 90° to wind watches and work. Will send it back.

After a month ,I have not received my package until today. I am extremely upset and angry because of this awful service. How is it possible that your service and your customer service works so poorly and does not react to its own mistakes? You have not followed up on my package and for this reason I can no longer accept all this delay and irresponsibility. Please return my money as soon as possible.

Please kindly note that your order was dispatched in timely manner buy FedEx International Service and upon checking the tracking history it states that the parcel is held at customs. We have no control over when the parcel is with customs, however as a matter of urgency our customer service team has escalated this issue with FedEx for an urgent update. I have not received the watch. I received an e-mail from post.nl that I still have to pay €47 extra, otherwise post.nl will not return the watch to my address. I ordered the watch for my wife's birthday and I don't have it yet.
