I parked in an evening as I had arranged to collect my son from a day out. Had not even considered that I would receive a fine for exceeding 10 minutes in the car park. The letter states an appeal wil... See more

Rip off merchants: the worst Britain has to offer
Far from obvious signage in what should be free retail park parking by any reasonable standard to begin with; an obvious and exploitative system designed to rip off the average motorist for as much revenue as possible. Should be forced to cease all operations.

Please be aware that Euro car parks to not abide by the law. They are now since March 2026 give you 10 minutes grace period. They also are supposed to cap a fine at £50. They send me one not knowing this info and send a PCN for £100 reduced to £60. That is still £10 over.

Visited Burton-on-Trent 23rd August 2026 went to use Burton Place car park, my normal car park only to find ECP were now responsible for this park, only one machine that didn't work tried to pay via 2 apps which were worse than useless and wanted to charge more than the tariff, disgusting company, filled in their email form again this doesn't work, then tried their own app that doesn't recognise Burton Place car park, total bloody disgrace of a company
Issued a ‘parking charge’ for not…
Issued a ‘parking charge’ for not parking within the lines of a marked bay at Braintree retail. There are no bay markings painted on the ground! No information on the letter about how to appeal with them. Letter also suggest to pay £60 straight away as if you raise an appeal with POPLA you will be charged the full £100.
I can’t give zero but have tried
I can’t give zero but have tried. This company are a joke. Their customer service is non existent. Appealed a charge based on a genuine issue and they just denied the appeal without any empathy or understanding. Loads of people stating the same experience. Avoid the businesses that are using this company as this will hit them hardest.

Parked at Grantham Station but the payment on exit machine was broken. All the apps are only for forward parking not for ongoing parking. So I had to leave without paying. Contracted the company and asked for an invoice but they refused. So I have to pay a fine to keep the bailiffs at bay. So I have to pay for their problem. Disgusting people.
If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. Tried downloading the APP which took forever, then tried to register, what a laugh, gave up in the end, next time I'd rather pay more and go elsewhere. Really expensive as well. Bad experience from start to finish.
Disgusting greedy company
Disgusting greedy company
They could easily see on the cameras that entered the Nelson Medical practice and exited immediately after my appointment but gave me £100 fine. Its a GP ffs. Cant wait till they go under. And they will coz Karma.
Trying to take money no matter what
I parked my vehicle in a mobile payment car park and paid for two hours of parking. Due to an unforeseen circumstance involving one of my children, I was delayed in cleaning and changing the child. Given that the car park utilized camera monitoring, I anticipated that my arrival time would be automatically registered in the mobile application, thereby accurately calculating the two-hour parking duration. However, I subsequently received a penalty charge for exceeding the two hours I had paid for. My appeal against this charge was unfortunately not approved. When a car park employs camera monitoring, should the application not display the precise arrival time to enable drivers to accurately determine their parking duration and corresponding payment?
DO NOT PAY. APPEAL TO POPLA USING WORDS BELOW
2 experiences.
23-2-26, 13 minutes on site without parking due to car park full. Sent a PCN for £60, appealed to ECP but they refused. Risking a £100 fine appealed to POPLA who accepted my appeal and PCN rescinded.
POPLA's words, ' In these circumstances, I am satisfied that the appellant did not accept the parking contract but instead rejected it after being unable to make reasonable use of the facilities.
I also note that the appellant did not derive any material benefit from remaining on site beyond attempting to locate a space. Taking all factors into account, I am satisfied that the appellant’s actions were consistent with a motorist attempting, but ultimately declining, to park, rather than one who remained on site in breach of the terms and conditions.
There is no indication within either the appellant’s initial appeal or their submission to POPLA that they derived any utility from remaining in the car park for the duration of approximately 13 minutes'.
5-6-26. 11 minutes in car park, similar situation.
Using the above words to POPLA, ECP rescinded the PCN before it went to a full review.
They clearly know they are dodgy so always appeal. Lets kill this business

Fined me for 45 minutes in a 2 hour free car park during a late night gym visit. Unfortunately as it was a company car my business automatically paid the fine prior to notifying me that I even had one. I tried to appeal but euro car parks told me because it had already been paid I could not. Poor form as expected
I've always found ECP car parks ok but…
I've always found ECP car parks ok but honestly excessively expensive. Today I experienced something quite disturbing, to say the least. I got back to the car park in Upper Parliament street in Nottingham and with my big surprise I found two "ladies" hiding behind my car, smoking crack. I had to hide the absurd scene to my 5 year old son, get him in the car and leave like nothing had happened. This is seriously concerning!! Get your car parks sorted out, it's disgusting. People pay a lot of money to park their cars in your parkings.
Poor and misleading communication
Poor and misleading communication, with extortionate fines. Avoid at all cost
Pressuring Payments, Legal Threats
Its one of the worst companies to pressure someone who suffers mental health and just constantly press for legal threats and the best thing about this was i was not even driving car, i had explained all to them but instead they decided to just go legal and even though i am paying money towards it they still continue to press for debt collection. One of the worst companies out there and do not care for people at all!!!!!

Very upset with euro star carparking…
Very upset with euro star carparking company I had a parking fine for being 19 mins over the stated time I put my blue badge up i admit I didn't check properly for how long you could park there getting use to my blue badge in parking in different places I thought it was ok for blue badge & didn't realise it was only 2hrs regardless of blue badge or not so not the 3hrs as I don't walk very fast so need a little time more it took weeks for me to receive the fine because we have postal delivery issues where I live (midlands ) I contacted that day I received it to appeal & explained everything that I have M.E. & can get muddled at times & didn't realise & I apologised it really upset me to think I had a fine i waited weeks for their decision which really left me feeling low but had a response today they rejected my appeal with no sympathy at all to waver it this once with a warning & to be more aware But no very heartless 😥

Would give a zero if I could got a penalty notice even though I used a disabled badge and very small print saying disabled badge holders must register the vehicle and sainsbury's where I parked didn't want to know absolute disgraceful from both companys
Emergency Recovery Services Appeal rejected
So, I am running a mobile tyre business and visited their operated car park in Uxbridge Sport Club Centre to fix and replace a tyre on a vehicle that was parked there, few days later I’ve got letter asking me to pay a fine of £100, I have explained the reasons I visited their car park, send all the documentation including receipts etc, eventually a month and a half later send me an email saying that my appeal has been rejected and that I will have to pay the fine! I have been all over the places and different private car parks, I have dealt with other PCNs and always understood the reasons why I went there!
Now they not even giving me an option to re-appeal or whatever, they are just being a pain!
You go there for a job and they desperate to get your money away!
Not even making a profit on nowadays so, we can pay your fines! With a job a day or sometimes a job in a week only!
Disgusting and disgraceful behaviour!

Got a ticket for parking in a free carpark would quash it tried using scare tactics
Went to popa or something they overturned it
Overstayed at M&S car park because my car broke down - still fined !!
Overstayed at M&S car park because my car broke down with a dead battery while I was shopping. Called the AA (within the car park time allowance) who eventually came and fixed the vehicle - but by then I was over the car park time allowance so got a £50 fine. Sent Euro Car parks an appeal that gave evidence of may call out to the AA and also the AA's report on the breakdown - and ECP rejected it saying it was the wrong date/time which was completely untrue - just total lies. Have applied to POPLA the independent adjudicator and we'll see.
Othwerwise it will be the small claims court and they will lose. AVOID AVOID AVOID - they are a prime example of uncommunicative, bad, unethical commercial practice that puts money before everything. An embarrassing cowboy of a company that deserves nothing but derision
