I parked in an evening as I had arranged to collect my son from a day out. Had not even considered that I would receive a fine for exceeding 10 minutes in the car park. The letter states an appeal wil... See more

I was three minutes over on my park and that was only because the building I went into had a broken lift and the company wouldn't take that into consideration. The fact that I had parked there before and was compliant was also of no consequence. Terrible company
No way to contact if a problem
No way to contact if a problem, only to pay a fine. Pregnant wife got done when app said session started but payment hadn't got through.
Scumbags
Scumbags. Do not ever park in any car park operated by them. Avoid any business that has its car park administered by Euro Car Parks. Company exists simply to trap you and fine you.
Euro Car parks have finally been…
Euro Car parks have finally been brought to task and been fined. Apparently they are appealing this. Do what they do, ignore or deny receiving their appeal in 28 days and double the fine and send the debt collectors in.

I would not rate Euro Car Parks…
I would not rate Euro Car Parks positively based on my experience.
I received a parking charge notice claiming that my vehicle was parked at Marks & Spencer’s car park at a specific time. However, this information is incorrect. I had initially parked at the M&S car park because the hospital car park in Northallerton was completely full, but at around midday I moved my vehicle to the Asda car park across the road, where I remained until approximately 15:00.
This raises serious concerns about the accuracy and reliability of the ANPR system being used. If the cameras are recording incorrect information, how many other motorists may have received unfair parking charges due to similar errors?
I have found Euro Car Parks’ appeal process extremely poor. The limited character allowance makes it difficult to properly explain the circumstances, and there appears to be no easily accessible email contact option for submitting a detailed complaint or evidence.
I will be appealing this charge and would encourage Euro Car Parks to review the accuracy of their ANPR systems and improve their customer service and appeals process.

I parked at Jeffrey Street Car Park, Maidstone, and genuinely tried to pay for my parking. The RingGo app wasn’t working because of a national UK outage, which was even reported on the news. I then tried to use the payment machine, but it wouldn’t accept contactless payments.
I spent around 15 minutes trying to find a way to pay. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash or my bank card with me, so I had no alternative payment method available.
I appealed the Parking Charge Notice and provided screenshots showing the RingGo outage, explaining that the payment machine also wasn’t accepting contactless payments. Despite this evidence, my appeal was rejected. I never received any letters about the charge, and before I knew it, the case had been passed to a legal recovery company, increasing the amount to £170.
When I complained, I was told I should have paid by phone. I explained that I am deaf, so paying over the phone is not a suitable option for me. I was simply told, “Sorry, you have to follow the rules and pay the fine.”
I feel I was treated unfairly. I made every reasonable effort to pay, but the available payment methods failed, and my disability was not taken into consideration. Instead of showing understanding, they rejected my appeal and pursued me for a much larger amount.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend parking at euro car park!!
Beware
They responded quickly to my appeal against a fine (I had paid for the parking) with request for evidence - but there is no way to provide this except to send by post.
No way to speak to anyone. They’re obviously avoiding any contact with people whilst making it difficult to appeal in order to trap people into having to pay. Complete cowboys
Soulless, Predatory and Fradulent
Shameful company.
Horrendous customer service.
Scandalous pricing of parking fines.
Soulless, predatory and fraudulent.
Preying on innocent and unsuspecting victims.
Received a £100 Parking Charge Notice…
Received a £100 Parking Charge Notice for “parking without a valid Pay by Phone transaction” at Victoria House, Norwich. The problem: I did pay. I have the RingGo VAT receipt showing a full 5-hour session for my vehicle, same car park, same date, paid via Apple Pay.
The ANPR shows I was on site for 5 hours 11 minutes. My paid session covered all but a few minutes at the start and 45 seconds at the end — well within the grace periods the BPA Code of Practice requires. I appealed with the receipt attached. The rejection letter even admits they can see my £6.90 payment entitling me to 5 hours, then rejects the appeal anyway and demands £60.

Two Faced
On June 27th 2026 I went to the The Old Manor, a pub in Bracknell, for drinks with friends, friends I hadn’t seen in a little while. As I’m sure you can imagine, as soon as I walked in the door the conversation, chat, began and as usual we talked utter rubbish to each other, this was a distraction that lasted approximately 20 minutes by which time I suddenly remembered that I have to register my vehicles presence in the car park, that done we continued drinking and chatting for a further 3 hours or so, the last 15/20 minutes was mostly spent saying good by to old friends.
As the days past I had an awful lots to reflect on as my wife had just recently passed, on 26th April 2026, I’m convinced that this is the sole reason why my mind is constantly elsewhere and the sole reason for my absentmindedly forgetting to register my vehicle that day. Shortly after that visit I received a letter in the post from Euro Car Parks advising me that on that occasion my registration didn’t cover the whole of the period I was in the car park, it was quite a nice albeit unaddressed letter that advised if I should do it again, I would likely get £100 fine. My first thoughts weren’t pretty as the letter was unaddressed and there was no way I could reply to it, not even to say thank you
Imagine my surprise when just a week later, and no I haven’t been back to the Manor, I receive a
parking charge notice for £100 for the very same offence, to be completely honest I’m totally disgusted that Euro Car Parks would be allowed to treat The Old Manors customers in this way, £100 for 20 minutes and a little about me, 74 year old recently widowed pensioner living off of a measly state pension of £13,000
Would give them 0 if I could
Would give them 0 if I could. Have made me anxious to park all because of a keying error they didn’t show me until I went through POPLA. Have to pay £100 fine because their system state that the last 3 letters on my license plate was missing. I only went out for Mother’s Day and have been waiting for a response for months just to be charged when I showed I paid - they are impossible to contact, unfair and loads of fine print so they can take advantage! Avoid! They sent no evidence that their machine was up to scratch, even going through POPLA is a waste of time - just don’t park with them
My partner was given a ticket whilst…
My partner was given a ticket whilst taking me to my late mother's funeral, the venue in question did not inform us of the system, and on appealing with euro car parks and via the popla parking fine appeals just shows how corrupt the system is. An absolute disgrace in a failing system AVOID USING EURO CAR PARKS WHEREVER POSSIBLE
Avoid bedford car parks run by this…
Avoid bedford car parks run by this company, i had paid the parking fee on the day in question, never received any paperwork stating i had a parking penalty, which i didnt as i had paid for the full time there at the machine, the first i knew about anything was when a court paper hit my mailbox, filled in all the documentarion stating i had paid, sent proof to courts and still ended up with a ccj cause of this stupid company ethics of extorting cash from people for no reason. They are a scam company who should be shut down with hiw they treat their patrons
most vile company on the planet on how…
most vile company on the planet on how it handles issues when you cant pay for parking where they set the bailiffs on you and threaten you. I avoid them at all costs.
There are no human beings in their team.
Dreadful Euro Car Park experience
Parked in a Leicester car park which had the barriers up, the pay machines all vandalised and an horrendous urine smell throughout the car park. Had paid to use via another company, but through has come a fine. Instead of harassing law abiding citizens, fix your stinking car park and the barriers because if they were working then false parking charge notices wouldn’t be generated. Absolute disgrace.
Absolute thieves.
Absolute thieves.
Birmingham Five Ways - parked 19/03/26
ANPR so the cost is calculated when you return to the car park.
I returned 4-5 hours later after arrival and was told they didn't recognise my number plate or arrival time, so entered what I thought was my arrival time. I estimated it and ended up paying for 4 hours.
I had seen this message on more than one occaision at this car park and so knew I had to work out my arrival time genuinely.
Following week - hey presto a fine and full evidence of my arrival time and exit time at the car park. Miraculous really as even the payment machine had said it didn't recognise me.
Ultimately I had paid for 4 hours and had underpaid by 15mins including 10 mins grace.
So they did have the arrival time and even though I paid in goodwill and proven that the machine was faulty, POPLA judged I was still at fault for not reading the small print.
I genuinely feel like I have been scammed.
