Sealed Machine, Denied Return – No Response
Sold Me an Oversized Machine, Refused Return, and Ignored Follow-up
I originally intended to buy a $700 coffee machine. Instead, I was sold a $2,400 Momento 100 by EVS Canada. Within 14 days, I asked to return it. The machine was and is, still sealed and unused.
I was told over the phone that I couldn't return it—not because the return window had passed, but because it was “under lease.” That reasoning changed later when I followed up by email, and I received no written response.
I contacted Nespresso Canada, who told me that the return decision was up to Nathan Martine, EVS Canada’s area manager. I tried calling him directly—no response.
This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing. A smaller, less expensive machine would have met my needs. Instead, I was oversold and ignored.
Avoid this company if you care about transparency or support after purchase.
