when you cancel your order

when you cancel your order, they refund your back into your account in 3 weeks!!!!!!! What??? Year 2024!!! Come on!!!!

Their system and customer service are very bad....

Delivery delay and poor follow up

Dear reader,

We had the pleasure to choose a new garden-table and chairs at Exterioo, beginning of February.
Hands-up for the lovely lady that helped us that day, she was all smiles and mostly helpful in our quest of finding the perfect set that day.

A delivery window for beginning of May was confirmed (which is already late considering we ordered the 3rd of Feb) and we were informed that we would receive a mail end of April to set the exact delivery date at our best convenience.

We did receive a mail end of April indeed (the 22nd of April), not to set a delivery date however, but to inform us that we should not expect anything before the 8th of June.
That same mail referred to a link where you supposedly can follow the status of your order by entering your mail address, we followed the exact instructions 5 times, we never received access to any delivery information whatsoever.

We immediately contacted the after sales service of Exterioo, by return of their mail of the 22nd of April that same day, kindly asking them more details on our delivery, a commercial gesture for the delay and a helping hand for accessing the webpage with delivery status of our order (webpage that doesn’t work, we added the printscreens in our writing).

We are one week later, and still waiting for a sign of Exterioo. An aftersales should reach out to their customers within 24 hours.
And it’s an absolute shame we need to reach out to other media in order to get things moving.

Upon viewing your order form, we can see that the table's base is out of stock. Due to a delay at the manufacturer, this base will arrive during the 2nd week of June. Therefore, we cannot yet provide a fixed date for the delivery of your order. As soon as the frame arrives at the warehouse, you will receive an invitation by e-mail to choose a date for the delivery of your order.

Excellent buying experience terrace in the Utrech branch

I bought a terrace set in the Utrecht branch and all the buying process was such a nice experience.
Both personnel were so kind, heplfull, patience showing me several options of sets.
They seems really care you take the best decision.

Also, the products are high quality at the proper price and they have free delivery.

100% recommended.

Terrible experience, don't buy here

If you are planning to buy something, you know their prices reflect the "quality" of their products. A little over 2 year ago we bought a table and chairs for outside. Total cost set us back at +3000 euro. As it is made with long-lasting hard wood, we were confident we could enjoy our furniture for many years to come. About a little more than 2 years later, the chair breaks. Looking closer, it looks like it was some manufacturing problem. We paid a lot of money, so I was convinced this would be an easy replacement, and done. I went to the physical shop, waited about 40 minutes until someone of the staff was finally able to help me. She looked at my order and said it should not be a problem to replace, because the originals were on a 3-year warranty. And mine was bought a little over 2 years ago. The only bad news was the chair was not any more in their catalogue. She was sure they would provide me with a good alternative. She advised to get in contact with customer service and that they sort it out. After almost a month, I finally got a reply. The lady told me pretty much that I'm not entitled to a replacement because it's a 2-year warranty, and it was a few months over. I replied, I was informed that the staff in the shop told me the warranty was 3-years. To my amazement, she replied that they indeed changed the warranty from 2 to 3 year shortly after I bought it. Because I bought it with 2 month warranty, she could not help me out. Her solution: buy a new chair we give you 10% off. I let her know I was not happy with her solution and wanted to make a complaint. Got a message back they will not change their mind, not even when that means writing a negative review. So here you are, hope your business goes bankrupt. What's the use buying local, not cheap quality furniture if you treat customers like that. If I want to get treated like an idiot I will buy at Amazon. And that is exactly what I will do next time.

We are sorry to learn that you experienced problems with your broken chair leg.

Our colleagues in the showroom will try to advise you as best they can. Unfortunately, the information did not appear to be completely correct. On all purchases made before 22 February 2022, there is a 2-year warranty period. On purchases from 22 February 2022, for the Bristol Essentials and Bristol À La Carte range there is now a 3-year guarantee period. If your warranty period has just expired when the breakage occurs then indeed there is no way to intervene. Our customer service colleagues must respect the end date of the warranty period. The expiry of the warranty period does not mean that we do not want to help you further. We try to help every customer to the best of our ability. Sometimes our options are exhausted.

Great experience in the store

Great experience in the store. The store keepers were so patient in explaining every details and they also provided multiple quotes with great advice. I would really recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful shopping.

Not good not bad

Even the showroom was empty, I waited too long to somebody got in touch with me.Aftef that they tried to help but what I saw was they are ok - not really good at sales.
