Returning a sale item yesterday the…
Returning a sale item yesterday the edinburgh shop manager refused to provide a voucher, saying it was exchange or nothing. Item was in original packaging and no issues with it. I explained I'd travelled in just to return the item and understood I wouldn't get a refund because it was a sale item, but I didn't want to be forced in to making an exchange there and then. She said it was totally at her discretion at that particular time to NOT give a voucher (smiling while she said it). I live chatted online with FF while in the shop and explained the situation, and they offered me a full refund if I posted the item back. Which i have now done. Poor attitude by the manager and extremely poor customer service. Not only have you lost a lot of good will, you've now also lost FF the money. Totally unnecessary.

I'm really sorry to hear that you have had an unsatisfactory experience in one of our stores. If an item has passed the 15-day return period, any in-store returns would be at the manager's discretion.
I can see that you spoke to one of my colleagues on Live Chat and he has offered a refund upon return of the item as a gesture of goodwill, as the return of an item past the 15-day sale period is not something we'd usually offer.
However I'll be sure to pass your feedback on to the store and area manager to take into future consideration.

I made a mistake with my order, but it got sorted very easily the team in Edinburgh. George Street branch were super helpful .
I have bought a few items and they last very well.

Have ordered from Fatface a few times now. Fast delivery to shop for pickup and delivery is free. Will continue to order online to get size I want if not available in shop. Would recommend.

Relying on ‘online’ again. Tiresome
Generally very happy with clothing from Fat Face and I do buy regularly; linen shorts for the summer being the latest item. They are very good indeed and no problem with them. But I have to buy these online and get them delivered (to home address as no shop option available. That is not convenient). Im getting very weary of having to buy online like this without seeing products beforehand. A city this size has a few stores and neighbouring towns have stores. None of them have anything like the number of items that are online. Buying ‘blind’ - without seeing items first - has mostly worked for me. Shops here have a very poor choice of items. It’s for that reason I’m not giving Fat Face a better rating here.
