The FedEx app is a waste of time

Has anyone else tried to use the FedEx app? What a complete waste of time. I forgot my user ID and password yet despite going to the settings they didn't send me an email reminder not even to spam nor a text reminder and even didn't do a phone call. So I thought I might as well register a new account. Climbing mount Kilimanjaro is easier. I never did manage to set up a new account as it insisted on 12 letters for a password then it told me I had more than three consecutive figures which I didn't. So trying to find out whether you're FedEx delivery is going to arrive we'll need to rely on email because the app is utter junk

We need our parcel its delivered and…

We need our parcel its delivered and signed to someone else. We need it for holiday its for our baby. We have opened up a case and why no one comes back? Just simply tell us or show a picture where's its been delivered too not just post code? Also why has it been delivered to a totally different postcode?
I walked around the whole entire industrial area that postcode covers and no one has it. Is it one of your driver stole it or those people lying?

Liars, and they think they can waste your day!

Absolutely disgusting service, wasted all day waiting for delivery, no-one turned up, no notifications, no updates. They were supposed to deliver between 9:20pm and 1:30pm... went to work one hour early as they shop opens at 10 am. Waited all day. Left at 6:30, although the shop closes at 5pm, as their email said 'up to 6pm'... no-one turned up, no message, no phone calls, nothing. At 7pm I get an email telling me that it's out for delivery... then straight after they tell me that I wasn't there... Awful, they ruined my day, and they send a link to reschedule booking. Seriously, FedEx, who do you think you are?You think you can mess about with people's valuable time and promote stress for the whole day? My tracking: 515657544461!!!

Charged $0.90 by FedEx for a shipment 6 months ago!

Oh wow. This gets even worse. Around 4/29/26 I got a strange charge on my credit card from FedEx. I thought it was fraud. I called FedEx, and they had no idea what it is. So I posted a review here.

On 5/5/26 I get a letter in the mail from FedEx. It's a $0.90 charge to a credit card I had on my FedEx account, for a shipment from a hotel in OCTOBER 2025! I lost something at a hotel, and the hotel offered to ship it to me. I believe I was charged at the time on my credit card by FedEx.

The odd thing is, the letter I got from FedEx today showed a 5 Euro charge not a $0.90 charge. So I still don't know what this is for. A charge for something I received six months ago?!?!

Why did FedEx take 6 months to charge me? And why didn't their own customer service know what this was about?

As with everyone else, email say delivery by 1310. Nothing. Can't get hold of anyone, very disappointing to say the least. I dont why companies use them, as far as I'm concerned it reflexs badly on them as well. They have other choices....

Parcel with an AC unit never arrived. Customer service are nice and offered updates, however, information wasn't reliable. 4 missed delivery windows (9-1, 1-6, 6-midnight 👀, 2nd day 9-1 and now received a 5th delivery window till 6pm).

FEDEX complaint

Dear Fedex team,

I have sent you numerous emails regarding 4 packages coming from Italy, 3 of them containing 5lts of olive oil each, monetary value €255.14 and tracking number 870843215906. I have paid an additional £57.10 as a customs clearing charge (your invoice number 396331946).

As I explained in my complaint letters, 2 of the packages we have received were empty meaning the contents of the packages were stolen, most likely by your delivery or depot personnel. The reason I am saying this is that the weight of the packages at the customs records matches the weight of 3 containers (31.09lb); hence, they must have been stolen within the UK after entry.

Also, as I explained multiple times, your record of delivery does not have any signature on it because your driver did not ask for signatures and left them lying in front of the main door (your driver knows that he/she cannot do that and had to arrange for redelivery if no-one was home).

Please let us know how you can remedy this situation since I really do not want to spend any more time on this.

Disaster.

The Belgium/Netherlands-based customer service are surprisingly good, unfortunately they have no choice but to pass my complaint to the UK-based customer service team, who took 3 months to resolve it. The UK customer service is like a garbage bin full of hopeless incompetents, on fire, plunging over a cliff, in a hurricane, during an earthquake.

Disaster.

Worst delivery company ever

Tracking said item would be delivered between 9.50 - 13.50 today. But never happened. No new updates even at midnight. This is the second Fedex delivery this has happened with. Absolutely abysmal service but judging by all the bad reviews that Fedex have had they just don’t care. They are not even worth a one star review. I don’t know why suppliers/sellers still use Fedex because I’m sure they must read all the bad reviews.

Very terrible and unprofessional…

Very terrible and unprofessional service. No delivery was made and no sense of responsibility for failed delivery which impacted my work efficiency. Customer support was quack as no proper communication and documentation to reference customer's record for resolution. They really need to be reviewed as parcels might not be safe with them.

Avoid FedEx Manchester

Avoid FedEx Manchester – 6 Failed Collections, No Communication

I arranged collection with FedEx in Manchester on six separate occasions, and not once did they turn up. No notification, no updates — nothing. My parcel was left sitting at the collection address the entire time, causing unnecessary delay and frustration.

The most disappointing part was the complete lack of communication. You’re left chasing and guessing, with no accountability.

In the end, I had to switch to UPS, and the difference was night and day. The driver, Andrew Pook from the Eccles depot, went above and beyond — even tracking down the correct depot himself and making sure the parcel was collected properly.

If you’re in Manchester and considering FedEx, I’d strongly recommend looking at my UPS review instead to see how a courier service should operate.

FedEx Manchester: unreliable and unresponsive.
UPS: efficient, proactive, and professional.

Extra for next day delivery

Extra for next day delivery, l received an email saying it will be delivered between 09:40 and 14:40, on the 28/04/26, it is only coming 3 miles. From Maidstone. I later receive another email on the day, it will now be delivered on the 29/04/26 up to 18:00. I contacted them and was guaranteed it will be here by 14:30 on the 28th. I receive a call but they hung up before l could answer. I called back, and spoke to another operative. She told me that it would come On the 29th, that is not next day. Don't pay extra for next day with these clowns, because you will do your cash in cold blood. In fact, l would not recommend them to run a bath .

Dangerous driving and aggressive abusive driver

Disgraceful dangerous driving in a van that maybe doesn’t have MOT and a mouthful of vile abuse from driver when I asked him to observe the speed limit - he was driving 3-4 times times faster than it in a retirement complex including when he reversed round a corner.

Absolute joke. Goods never arrived. Claims of trying to deliver when they didn’t. Last tracking day for delivery 27/4. Didn’t deliver but van drive past my house twice without stopping. Why?!!

Absolutely abysmal - and liars too.

Any delivery company is only as good as its delivery drivers. Fedex employ straight up liars. I waited in for my parcel. It didnt arrive by the end of the delivery window but what I did get instead was an email telling me that delivery was attempted but nobody was in! I have CCTV to prove that, not only was delivery NOT attempted at the time claimed, no Fedex employee has been near my property all morning. Shockingly dishonest.

Rude and obnoxious driver failed to deliver

What a poor experience. The driver couldn't be bothered to deliver the item, called with an attitude saying, "I am not carrying this to your flat". My partner went down to assist the driver with the delivery as the item is on the heavy side, but he was rude, and his attitude to my partner was appalling. I live on the second floor, and when I am out working, my partner is the only person who can collect the item. I would imagine the delivery driver will be willing to help her, since he should deliver it to the door rather than on the curb. He falsely claimed that the delivery had been refused, then drove off, furious with the printer on the back of his van. Now, my worry is that he will damage it.
