Star X2 Cooking System

The Star X2 cooking system is great! It is compact, easy to set up, and is super quick at heating up water. The water was boiling before I could finish prepping my freeze dried meal and there is not much prep for a freeze dried meal! It comes with an adapter to hold a small pan/pot but have yet to try that out. My next purchase from FireMaple will be the Feast 1 or 2 cookware set. It is an excellent addition to my camping gear.

The burner you need

I love my fire maple, I always take it with me on hikes. I have another burner from another brand and I prefer my fire mapple because there is a ignitor, It’s very practical and it heats food quickly

Works like a charm every time I need to boil water to make something to eat or make my morning coffee. Been using it for a while and it has never let me down!!! Would 100% buy this again or even buy it for a gift for a friend!!!!! 5 stars for sure!!!!!!

Expedited shipping is a rip off

Customers! Don't spend your money on the 2-3 days expedited shipping. You will NOT get your order in 2-3 days, it will still take 6-7 days and they keep the extra you paid. I tried contacting CS. They told me to "be patient," then offered me 15% off of my NEXT order. Listen, Firemaple, if I'm not satisfied now with paying extra for expedited shipping and it takes just as long as it normally would take for delivery, then what makes you think there would be another order?I don't want to get ripped off AGAIN.

I tried to purchase a Petrel bundle…

I tried to purchase a Petrel bundle including table, but only found out the table was out of stock, when my parcel arrived, a bit late. I did get a refund and a belated apology, but it should have been dealt with when the order was received. The petrel mug, stove and canister mount are good.

HIGH QUALITY

Still have yet to test the items that I purchased, but it is apparent that the quality is quite substantial. Innovative design with "pack-ability" and function in mind.
The only reason I've decided to rate 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with the delivery packaging. The items I ordered were packaged in a simple poly bag with a tear away seam for opening. The items were relatively thin in profile but had substantial weight... Another testament to the quality of the product. When I received the package the seam was partially torn and one of the two items was missing. It's my belief that at some point during shipping, one of the items freed itself of the packaging.
That being said, when I contacted Fire Maple and explained what happened, they re-sent the item without question.
I highly recommend the product, but suggest sturdier packaging. At least when being shipped longer distances.

Recently I lost the lid to my Star 2…

Recently I lost the lid to my Star 2 cooling system. I reached out to Firemaple and asked about a replacement. I was told they didn’t actually sell just the lids but that they would be happy to send one out to me at NO CHARGE! I was not expecting that at all! I agreed to a small very reasonable shipping fee and in no time I had a brand new lid for my system!
They did not have a problem do this since after all it was me who lost the lid. They did it anyway. Now that’s customer service and that’s how you make lifelong customers!

Happy Repeat Customer

I've purchased multiple items from Firemaple (from multiple stoves to their petrel pots) and EVERY single time I wasn't just satisfied with the products, but the customer service and purchasing experience was smooth and uneventful, which is what you want. The G3 por was awesome with the Green peak stove , and now I can't wait to use it with my new G2! Absolutely recommend them and their products!

I bought the gas latern

I bought the gas latern, which similar didn’t work. I wrote to Fire Maple and they basically ignored me. I didn’t want to spend time and effort trying to get a foreign-based company to respond properly, so just left it. However, for this reason I would advise to avoid this company.

All stainless cookware is high quality and well thought out and performs well over a 🔥.
Suggest that you come up with a well thought out camp lid for your stainless frypan.
I opted to buy my frypan frm a competitor, because I want lids on my cookware, to keep out flying debris.

Impressive Shipping Speed!

I was actually amazed by just how fast my G2 pot made it from mainland China to my front door. Truly very efficient system. The pot arrived well packaged and in mint shape. I can't think of anything that would improve the experience, what more could you ask for. You folks are doing a great job, Glad I got mine before the tariffs...

ordered twice both times disappointed

ordered twice both times disappointed, i like the products but first order arrived broken returned and they sent me a replacement quick enough, second order yet to arrive and website has no way to produce a tracking number their tracking does not work. also not a huge deal but checkout screwed me out of adding a points reward item them turned around and wanted to charge me 10 dollars shipping on a free item lol screwed now cause they have nothing left that i care to buy.

Other companies should take notes

Other companies should take notes. Fire Maple has all the boxes checked. From top notch service to excellent Gear. This gear is built for just about anything you can throw at it. I have used many pieces of their gear and each one has performed above and beyond my expectations. I also have had the pleasure of dealing with their customer service to get a replacement for a piece I lost on one of their tea kettles and it was replaced and shipped out fast. Their service was impeccable. Thanks you Fire Maple 🍁 once again for everything you do and for a great company.

Good equipment at a reasonable price

Good equipment at a reasonable price. Also quick to respond to questions. I really like the smaller pots with heat exchangers, that allow me to use a regular stove, heat quickly like the uber expensive, restricting stove systems, and still experience the time, weight and gas savings of the major systems.
Cons: Bit of a confusing points system!

Great service and products

I received my star X2 cooking system and am very pleased with it. From the packaging to how easy it is to use. I also bought the coffee press with it and am just as pleased. The French press came separate from the stove so I reached out to their customer service to ask them where it was. They responded very quickly and assured me it was on it's way. It came the next day. Their customer service was very helpful and the stove is awesome. I haven't had the chance to take it on a trip yet but I use it to make coffee at home instead of our expensive coffee maker. Over all 5 stars.
