Lack of communication - When the car was collected, I was told it is typically around 7-10 days. After 10 business days, I hadn't heard anything, so called only to be told the ETA was actually set for another week, now meaning the car would be gone for 3 business weeks. Fine but, would have been nice to be told this as opposed to me chasing.
Even when it did get to this ETA date, no word again and calling up it's been delayed and they would call me the next day to arrange delivery. No call the next day, so wait a couple of days and called back and found it is ready but no one's called to book it to be returned - At this point, were basically a month from the day the car got collected to me getting it back.
On return of the vehicle, the team member had no paperwork around what work had been carried out / done, so although I'm asked to check over the vehicle and sign, I'm not 100% what I'm checking against as neither myself nor the guy dropping it off knows what work has been done - Of course, I knew what the damage was, but again it's more I don't know exactly what work and set or parts has been replaced / repaired.
Also, small gripe, but the guy dropping it off left loads of mud in the front doorway of the car lol.
I've since realised as well that the replacement cover on the fog light doesn't match the one already on the car - I believe I understand why this might be, but I would have appreciated it if I could have had the option to get both replaced so they matched, but hey, I hadn't received any communication the entire time whilst they had the vehicle, so am not surprised they didn't call and offer / ask this.
I have given two stars, as the team members I did speak with on the phone were polite and nice to deal with.
I should note, that this was a repair done via insurance, so I didn't have a choice in the body shop - But based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend or choose to use Fix Auto myself in the future.
The paint work looks good, unfortunately the vehicle was incorrectly repaired. The vehicle's gutter around the boot opening now drains into the luggage bay. The presence of a large hole in the gutter appears not to have registered on their quality assurance checks.

Sent the car in for repairs to the rear bumper and they damaged all 4 alloy wheels!! They Offered to take the car back to rectify and made them much worse! Then refused to cover the costs to repair them! Thank god for the insurance company!
The car was collected from me and returned after work done. No hassle everyone most helpful

The repair looks to be really good, and all of the (even slightly damaged) trim, tyre, wheel etc have been replaced without question. We are particularly impressed that the "rucking" that was in the bodywork of the chasis covered by the door, which we had thought we might have to live with, is like new again. Thank you for such good workmanship, Fix Auto.
The only slight grumble is that when repairs took longer than expected, no-one thought to tell Auxillis (through which the repair had been arranged with Fix Auto), leaving us potentially driving a hire car on which (unknown to us) our insurance cover had actually expired, which would have led to us breaking the law if we had not ourselves happen to call Fix Auto for an update and then updated Auxillis ourselves. Thankfully, but just by luck, we did not drive the car in that period. Hopefully lessons will have been learned by FixAuto on this point.
