Car Painting Inquiry

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service received from your garage today. I called to inquire about the cost of painting a car, explicitly stating that an exact price was not required, and an estimate would suffice.

Despite my clear request, the representative I spoke with repeatedly and rudely refused to provide any information. This unhelpful and unprofessional refusal culminated in the representative abruptly hanging up the phone. Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your business. I expect a basic level of courtesy and assistance when seeking services.

I am impressed with your perfect work , the car looks brand-new , I can’t thank you guys enough , I highly recommend your garage , your engineers they know what they’re doing , I enjoy the car every day , thank you so so much

Overall a very good experience.
This isn’t our usual garage as repairs were being done via a third party claim so their approved garage.
Car was returned clean and sparkling with all the necessary paperwork awaiting us on collection.
Communication was generally good just had to chance once as call not returned but this was no big issue and staff were friendly and efficient.

Well organised,pick up of car and delivery.
Job well done and returned clean.
Would having giving five, but held one star back due the driver side inside and door was left with boot marks all over.

Very impressed with all aspects of a recent repair on our Honda CRV. The telephone responses were very helpful and polite. Delivery of our loan car was very smooth and the driver very helpful. The perfect repair was carried out within a few days.... excellent!

Update on changes ie date car would be ready. Organising delivery and friendly helpful staff both at FixAuto office and collection/delivery staff.

Lack of communication - When the car was collected, I was told it is typically around 7-10 days. After 10 business days, I hadn't heard anything, so called only to be told the ETA was actually set for another week, now meaning the car would be gone for 3 business weeks. Fine but, would have been nice to be told this as opposed to me chasing.
Even when it did get to this ETA date, no word again and calling up it's been delayed and they would call me the next day to arrange delivery. No call the next day, so wait a couple of days and called back and found it is ready but no one's called to book it to be returned - At this point, were basically a month from the day the car got collected to me getting it back.

On return of the vehicle, the team member had no paperwork around what work had been carried out / done, so although I'm asked to check over the vehicle and sign, I'm not 100% what I'm checking against as neither myself nor the guy dropping it off knows what work has been done - Of course, I knew what the damage was, but again it's more I don't know exactly what work and set or parts has been replaced / repaired.

Also, small gripe, but the guy dropping it off left loads of mud in the front doorway of the car lol.

I've since realised as well that the replacement cover on the fog light doesn't match the one already on the car - I believe I understand why this might be, but I would have appreciated it if I could have had the option to get both replaced so they matched, but hey, I hadn't received any communication the entire time whilst they had the vehicle, so am not surprised they didn't call and offer / ask this.

I have given two stars, as the team members I did speak with on the phone were polite and nice to deal with.

I should note, that this was a repair done via insurance, so I didn't have a choice in the body shop - But based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend or choose to use Fix Auto myself in the future.

The paint work looks good, unfortunately the vehicle was incorrectly repaired. The vehicle's gutter around the boot opening now drains into the luggage bay. The presence of a large hole in the gutter appears not to have registered on their quality assurance checks.

The courtesy car was provided immediately and in great condition. The delivery driver was friendly, helpful and patient with my questions. Just what you need when your own car is not available.

Collected car quickly, repairs were fast considering the holidays in between. Courtesy car was clean, well maintained and pleasant to drive. No complaints.
