Repair to my car was excellent

Repair to my car was excellent, the guarantee for work undertaken also excellent. The reason for not giving 5 stars was that the communication could have been better on when my car would be ready for collection. Perhaps introduce a weekly call to update the customer on the progress of the repair.

More than happy with the repair work…

More than happy with the repair work done on my car…..
But I don’t know why it wasn’t at least hoovered inside before getting it back. Everywhere inside is covered in a fine white dust, passenger seat caked in it and marks left on upholstery.
Also quite a bit of soil in my boot that wasn’t there before it went in for repair.

The work done is fab!

The work done is fab!, only thing I would say is I didn't like that I had to ring numerous times to find out when I was getting my car back. So I'd say the follow up and communication could be better.

Excellent service

Emily and her colleagues were excellent at communication, responding quickly and keeping in touch. Courtesy car was fab, and was lovely to see my car had cleaned when I picked it up which I wasn't expected. Brilliant service from all involved.

DP17OJC repair

From the accident happening in January to the car being brought to your garage in May for repair seemed to be such a long time, added to this even though an assessor had seen the car and decided on the repair needed after the car had been in for repair for 8 days
I rang to check on progress and was told the bumper hadn't arrived from Germany. This did not please me at all because i felt there had been plenty of time to collect all the parts needed before the job was started.
Once completed the car sat on your forecourt for at least a day waiting to be washed before i got a call saying i could pick it up.
I feel frustrated at the lack of momentum in this case.

Rear bumper replacement

We are satisfied with the replacement of the rear bumper. We got a new courtesy car which was good to use in the mean time. Staff were friendly and helpful at Redcar Vauxhall repair garage. Thanks.

Admiral repair job

No courtesy car available for 7 weeks and found more damage after the car was already stripped down for 3 weeks apparently. Polite staff and car was fixed in the end though. Admiral had my car sent there so I had to roll with it. Staff were helpful when needed.

The work done was very good

The work done was very good. I used the collect from home option which was great but due to some confusion over bank holiday dates it took several days after completion before it was returned which was less than ideal.

Terrible

I was informed my car was ready to collect and could only go between 9 am and 5pm Monday to Friday. So I took half a day holiday and arranged travel to the garage. When i inspected the work it was substandard with grit under the paint. I left the car. It was then delivered to me at a further date and the bumper was not fitted correctly. I sent it back to the garage where the manager called me, told me it was ok, and I put the phone down on me. A lady then called me and said they thought it was ok and it would be delivered. If I had an issue take it up with the insurance company. Horrible.

Car was very dusty inside when returned…

Car was very dusty inside when returned and smelt of body filler.

Took over 4 months from contacting you to having the repair undertaken.

Corsa is not a suitable courtesy car for a family.

My car was booked in to fix damage

My car was booked in to fix damage (large dents, scratches and scuffs from a storm incident) and to replace the wing and respray the front of the car. The ladies in the office were more than helpful, professional and friendly. On receiving my car back I immediately noticed two small scratches on the new wing and also lots of scratches and damage still not repaired on the bumper. I took it back and it was promptly seen too and repaired. An apology was given. That night I realised I was unable to open the passenger side door. A panel under the door had been removed and not fitted back correctly so was hanging off and sticking to the door meaning it wouldn’t open from the outside. I had to take my car back again the next day. Although this was rectified I received more of an explanation of what was wrong and how it was put right rather than an acceptance of accountable of the shoddy work that was done in the first place. I live quite a drive from the garage so these were two journeys I could have done without. Overall positive start with the professional back office ladies, let down by the poor quality of workmanship on my car.
