The repair to my Mercedes C class rear bumper and light cluster was relatively simple and was done to a high standard, for which I thank 4 Elms Garage (Fix Auto).

However, when my car was delivered back to me I immediately noticed that one of my front tyres was severely, and quite obviously, deflated. This was confirmed by checking the tire pressure monitoring system, which indicated the front passenger side tyre held just 1.35 bar pressure instead of the expected 2.6 bar.

I was horrified that my car had been drive circa 10 miles with a tyre in this state, which was not only dangerous for the driver, but liable to cause permanent damage to my vehicle as well. The delivery driver had ignored a significant RED warning display in the centre of the dash!

Upon being challenged the driver admitted that she should not have driven my car in this condition and apologised, saying that she would ask her manager to call me that day to discuss the matter. Unfortunately I didn't receive the courtesy of a phone call, which to me is an indication of how much the manager cares about this incident and the quality of his company. Shocking!

I declined to sign the return appraisal form because of the unsatisfactory condition of my car upon return. Imagine my surprise when, an hour or so later, I received an emailed copy of the appraisal form, making no mention whatsoever of the issue, with a forged signature on it! (if you zoom in on one of the photos the red warning sign is obvious). How unprofessional is that?

Both the driver and I photographed the warning display that clearly indicated a critical problem with tyre pressure.

Whilst the repair was made to a high standard, this review is made on the overall experience of the company, which was seriously marred by the condition in which my car was returned to me, and the appalling lack of responsibility from the manager who was supposed to have called me.

The vehicle was repaired to an excellent finish, and you cannot tell that it has been re-sprayed.
The only slight issue has been the boot operation, which has decided to misbehave, and not open or close properly. The Body Shop Manager took the time to tell me how to reset this, and it is now working correctly 9most) of the time.

Fix Auto Rochester (Chattenden) repaired some body damage to our much loved Volvo after it was damaged in a car park. They sorted out a courtesy car with Enterprise for us and repaired our car. The service was quick, professional and slick and they kept us informed all the way through. And when we got our car back? Well, it’s like a brand new car! The damage has gone and the car looks as good as new. They even did an amazing valet on it as well. Would highly recommend Ian and his team if you have any vehicle repairs.

I don’t have a bad word to say about this repair shop. From start to finish they have been great. Communicated with me every 3 days to update me on the process of my repairs. Collected my car and dropped it back to me. The car was even cleaned and was spotless.

Arrived and although there has been a mix up with the appointment they saw my vehicle with a cheerful disposition.
Staff behind reception were welcoming and cheerful to all calls they picked up (acknowledged while waiting).
They popped out with a screwdriver and sorted my bumper and sent me on my way without further ado, and without charge. A fabulous experience.

Job took around 3 week but I was updated about the work progress weekly.
Got the car back yesterday wow looks great all valeted brand spanking new a 100% Top Job.

Whilst my car was being repaired I caught covid!! They were fantastic they fixed the car and returned it to me. I picked up a mark on the front of the car, figured they would still have some paint so called in for a quote. The guy came out with some magic potion and within minutes it was sorted. What a lovely group of people to deal with. Absolutely top!!!

Very happy with this company after my accident I had they went above and beyond for me , regular updates on process with my car while in repairs, was provided with a lovely car whilst waiting for mine , staff are all lovely could do enough , very helpful, and friendly , big thankyou to all of you
