Scammers, the director of this company has had a total of 51 ltd company’s, 44 dissolved.
Block your number and don’t answer the phone. I’ve reported to the police hopefully this scam shop gets shut down.

Absolutely not true, I paid on the 13/05 and contacted you multiple times to find out what was going on and nothing…
I asked for a refund on the 29/05 and received it on the 02/06.
You blocked me on WhatsApp because I asked for a refund….says it all really!

Firstly I would like to apologise again regarding our telephone line, we have been having some technical issues, which have now been dealt with. You contacted one of our sales colleagues at around 10pm on Friday 30th May, which I’m afraid “was out of hours”. We only received payment for your order on Friday 30th May, which is why your order hadn’t been dispatched. You asked us to fully refund you your order, which was actioned on the day of your request.
We have been trading for over 20 years, and over 70% of our business is from existing customers.
We apologise for any confusion or distress this may have caused.

Avoid

Avoid this company – disgraceful service and false advertising.
Ordered flooring promoted as “pride match and delivery” – what a joke. Customer service was appalling throughout. After endless delays, I had to cancel the order, and it still took over three weeks to get a refund. Meanwhile, I ordered the same flooring from another company – it arrived and was fitted before this lot even processed my refund. The product itself is fine, but the company is a complete letdown. Avoid at all costs.

5 weeks of waiting with no carpet to show for it

On first ordering the carpet the company were really great, they advised me early on that the manufacturer of the carpet had no supply currently and they would keep checking with them when the carpet would be available. Finally floortodoor were advised by the manufacturer that the carpet ordered would be in stock the next day and it was at that point floortodoor decided to cancel my order, without my permission. I emailed them back immediately asking them not to cancel my order as I had already waited 5 weeks, what was 1 extra day?! However, they proceeded with cancelling my order, I was unable to get hold of them via email or telephone and then of course, the cost of the carpet I had ordered had gone up in price (now it was back in stock). In the end I ended up going with another company, with no issues and the process took a week from ordering to delivery.

Terrible Customer Service and Delays

I ordered a carpet on the 28th of february. Their site gave no indication that there was anything wrong, they took my money, and the order was marked as "confirmed". There was radio silence for a week

On the morning of march 7th, i emailed to ask what was going on, no response. (at 1am, so there was a whole work day to read and reply)
On march 10th, an ambivalent response saying they will have to look into it

Another week of no contact and two more emails, and on march 14th, two weeks after i placed the order, someone finally informed me (with plenty of typos) that the carpet was out of stock and they were waiting for it to come back in.
There was no farther response after this when i sent a reply. Radio silence again until the second of April when i sent another email to ask what was going on, and got a dispatch notification back, saying the carpet would be with me on the ninth. Did they send it that day, or earlier and just forget to tell me again? Given the timing of this after my email, i suspect the latter

I understand that manufacturer stock is completely out of their control, but maintaining their website isnt. When someone went to the warehouse to pick out my carpet and found it wasnt there, they should have informed me. It took two weeks and three emails just to figure out what was going on

and then it finally arrived on the tenth, another day late

nice carpet though, but thats the manufacturer's work. FTD is clearly just a retailer, a single link in the supply chain, and they did terribly at the parts which are within their purview

What i expected in this case is:
1. The website to clearly indicate whether or not something is in stock, and not just to allow blind purchase without giving this information
2. Failing that, if something is found to be out of stock, the customer should be contacted ASAP and offered a refund if they dont want to wait

Unable to speak to the company

Unable to speak to the company, left telephone message that wasn't returned. Order not received for 14 days. When received, a sample, was very small , no more than 3 inches square unable to show full pattern.

Really happy with our carpet and…

Really happy with our carpet and experience with floor to door. I emailed Paul directly and he was very helpful, advised on underlay and our delivery arrived the following week. Glad I didn't read the reviews first! Paul is super friendly & helpful 👍🏻

Love my carpet!

Love my carpet! Floor to door was only 1 of 2 places that seemed to stock the one I wanted and it was the cheaper of the 2, I hadn't read the reviews before I ordered and I'm glad I didn't, very happy with the service and the delivery.

I nearly didn’t order after reading…

I nearly didn’t order after reading reviews but I did. Excellent speedy communication from Paul and excellent service. I was informed of the delivery date after ordering. The delivery company also kept me updated with time of arrival on that date. I cannot praise this company enough. Excellent service and fantastic carpet thank you 😊 A+++++

Really poor service.

Really poor service.
Unfortunately I wish I'd read all the reviews first. Carpet ordered on line, although it was supposedly in stock, 2 months later it had not arrived..,, contacted a few times, very poor communication and lots of conflicting excuses. Fortunately paid with PayPal and got all money back. Just feel as though I'd wasted 2 months.

Terrible communication

Terrible communication! Purchased online 10th March I received a confirmation email once I’d made the online purchase with the generic message of your order is being processed etc, a week later I used the chat bot with no response, I then sent an email asking for an update and an approximate delivery date. A few days later I received an email from Natalie confirming the carpet was in stock and the courier company which delivers in my area can do Thursday the 28th March or Thursday 4th April so I chose the 28th. No delivery was made on the 28th so in the evening I emailed Natalie for a update and I’ve had no response. Luckily I paid via PayPal and was able to recover the cost via the raising a dispute process. I would only use this company in the future if I could make payment on delivery. I received my refund from PayPal on the 1st of April as Floor to door did not contest.

Terrible communication
Never rings back when they say they will
Multiple numbers but none of them work
I could go on for days with how bad they are

Will never use ever again would rather pay more for the same carpet from a more reliable company with better customer service

Avoid like the plague.

Hands down the worst company I've ever dealt with.
Ordered a carpet, heard nothing for almost 2 weeks. Tried calling over 40 times, sent emails, used the online chat. Nothing. Finally got someone to call be back yesterday, didn't resolve a thing, was promised a call back. Nothing. I've been a floor fitter for 10 years and I've never dealt with a worse company.
Now i have a customer who doesn't know if nevermind when they're carpet will be delivered so they can't order a new one.

Great deal

Great deal. Ordered 2 carpets. One carpet delivered on time - 2nd followed 2 weeks later [delivery issue with Abingdon]. Exactly what I ordered. [Comms could be better, had to chase the status of the 2nd carpet]. Delivery company used JD Delivery were fantastic. Carried carpet from roadside into my garage. No complaints whatsoever from me.
Mentioning Claire from sales very good and Natalie was excellent in post sale customer support.

Warning - Do not use this company!!!

Do not use this company. I have paid over £1k to them on 31st Jan. Was advised that carpet would be here on 14th Feb. No carpet. No communication. Cannot get them to answer calls, emails, social media messages. I feel I have been scammed.
