The relief!
It is such a relief to know where my husband is when he goes out. It's already proved its value as he wasn't home when he said he would be, and that was because he had to make an unexpected stop at the surgery - as I saw when I checked where he was. Peace of mind is everything!

Need to deal with their Courier
Frequency precision are fine but they need to deal with DPD their courier who threw a parcel containing sensitive electrical equipment over my back gate and left it there in the open until I returned. I have notified Frequency Precision of the issue.

Hi Harry, We are very sorry about the courier driver that delivered our product to you. As we said in our email we expect much more from the courier company DPD and have talked to our account manager about this in order that this does not happen again.
We have found were there are issues with any of the companies that deliver our products we do use alturnative courier companies and other posting options.
Please let us know with any future orders if you would like us to use alturnative methods of shipping.
Again we have looked in to this and have asked for an investigation into the driver that served you.

I made a quick enquiry which was answered very promptly. I then completed my order for a passive infrared motion detector pager package. The process for getting VAT exemption was very quick and easy (a self-completed form on the Frequency Precision site). The order was placed and arrived with us in around 2 working days.

Floor pressure mats unreliable.
I have three floor pressure mats. All have stopped being reliable: sometimes they fail to detect foot pressure, so don't sound the alarm then someone treads on the mat. Two failed within the one-year warranty period, the other just out of warranty.
Cutting one up, I found that the internal foil contact surface has begun to break up. Either the manufacturing/design is faulty, or they are not supposed to be used on a carpeted floor, which we should be told.

The feedback about any of our sensors is very important to us as we develop and manufacture our sensor mats here in the UK; ideally, the floor mats would not break down in this way but because they are really on metal foil contact sheets inside the mat connecting together when stepped on, any moisture getting into the mat will start to break down the foil, we do put a lot of effort in designing our floor mats to be able to keep out any moisture to protect the foil from this known issue. It is also important we find not to fold the floor sensor mats, this can cause the foil and the thin foam to break down faster.
For these known issues with all floor contact mats used in fall prevention, we have developed alternative solutions that we think work much better and have been shown to greatly reduce falls.
We have developed our patented AIRLERT sensor mats to be able to alert carers to bed leaving that can work under all mattresses including airflow mattresses.
The AIRLERT mats do not have issues with being folded and can be rolled up for storage or folded to alert to a bed occupant just sitting up in bed, they can also be fully cleaned and washed with no fear of moisture problems. for this reason, we have found the mats can last up to ten years plus of constant use.
Alternative to mats also we have also developed Motion sensors (PIRs) with a unique eyelid to detect in a precise location. This motion sensor will alert to an individual's movements such as the feet from a bed reaching the floor or a person entering doorway or stairs, unlike floor sensor mats do not become a trip hazard on the floor.
We manufacture our sensors to the highest standards and so are very sorry that these floor mats did not meet your requirements. we would be happy to offer the alternatives mentioned if you think this would be a good solution for your needs.

Arrived promptly, worked well when we tested it but unfortunately it doesn't come with a charger plug, which my mother doesn't have ( not being part of the electronic generation) hence has run out of charge until we can get one delivered to her.
Liked the fact it told me when it was running out of charge as in the future I will be able to remind her to plug it in.
