Gillies of Broughty Ferry
Gillies is our one-stop shop for everything relating to our household. This time we bought 2 x rugs to compliment our recently refurbished lounge.
They look great on our oak floor and were a very decent price considering the quality of the product.
I’d recommend Gillies if Broughty Ferry every day of the week.

A job well done, bravo!
Once again the communication, keeping us informed of arrival time etc was excellent.
The 2 chaps that came to fit our carpet could not have been more friendly and helpful, Norman was extremely knowledgeable and advised us on options on how best the carpet would sit adjacent to the tiled floor.
The standard of the work conducted was fantastic, with real attention to detail, and not a speck of dust left behind.

Was told lies with the salesman at the Aberdeen shop. He said 7-8 weeks it could be in 6 weeks word of mouthOn receipt had written 14-15 weeks.
Paid it in full when ordered by choice.
You had my money for fully 3 months paid the full price no discount😤😤

I’d also like to thank you for taking the time to leave your review and I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.
Having reviewed your order, I can see that the estimated delivery time shown on your paperwork was 8–10 weeks, with the understanding that this was an estimate and that delivery could be a little sooner or a little later, depending on the manufacturer's production schedule.
Unfortunately, on this occasion your chairs did arrive beyond that estimated timeframe, and I appreciate that this would have been frustrating. Again, I am grateful for the patience you demonstrated.
I would, however, like to respectfully address your comment regarding being "told lies" by our salesperson, as I do not believe that this was the case. Our team can only provide the estimated lead times given to us by our suppliers, often shared with examples of previous customer orders.
We pass on these lead times in good faith, as genuine estimates rather than guarantees. Whilst I understand your disappointment with the delay, I do not believe you were deliberately misled.
I'd also like to reassure you that your chairs were not purchased at full price. They were ordered during our Spring Promotion, where a 20% discount had been applied to the manufacturers RRP.
Most importantly, I hope that now your chairs have arrived, you are pleased with them and that they provide many years of comfortable use.

Long delay in receiving furniture.
We love the product purchased and the delivery men went above and beyond.
Luke the salesman could not have been more helpful.
However - we ordered the furniture mid February and were told there would be a 12 week delivery wait which we accepted.
Sadly that turned into 20 weeks which is not acceptable. We were offered the loan of a table and chairs but declined as we still had our old furniture.
