GoFax came out the winner:
* Very reasonable pricing
* Easy user-interface and a helpful and informative dashboard.
* They charge for only the successful events. Your pre-paid credit is retained for later use if the event fails.
I needed the service as a one off "send only" fax in my situation. But users can opt for other services including receiving fax (if they need to) as well as sms services.

I recently moved to Australia and needed to send faxes to Canada for taxation purposes, as the Canadian tax office does not accept information via email. My printer has fax capability, but I could not use it because I do not have a landline. I researched online fax companies which were reviewed in some computer magazines, but they were all based in North America or Europe and I found it difficult to understand the charges, and how they would work. I found GoFax by googling sending a fax from Australia. I called them to get more information - the agent was extremely helpful and answered my questions. I decided to sign up on the spot - the agent helped me through the process, and I was able to start sending faxes. They are also reasonably priced.

Firstly, Janelle and Team are always a pleasure to deal with. Service is always Professional and Prompt and the Team always strives to find the best possible outcome for our Business needs.
Of recent experience with a National Rebrand to our Imaging Business Division, Janelle was exceptional. All accounts, headers, email addresses etc had to be changed from the existing Business Name to the new. Unfortunately, this had to be completed on a Sunday before the official Rebrand Launch on Monday. Janelle kindly offered to make the required changes on our behalf in her own time on a Sunday. This was greatly appreciated and helpful as most of our resources were tied up with other application changes for the rebrand.
