Very easy to work with

Very easy to confirm the quote originally contracted through Quidco. Payment was simple, documents easily accessed. Only gripe is I couldn't link my policy to an existing account - we've used GoGirl for all three 'kids' as they've been learning/new drivers.

Awful insurer to victims of their customers

One of their customers ran into the back of me on January 8th.
CCTV presented with full proof of everything as well as pictures etc all on the same day it happened.
It's now the end of March and this insurer hasn't settled the claim yet. This has impacted my insurance renewal as I ell as caused untold stress. I would never purchase a product from them or their underwriter as of this is how they treat you in the worst moments it shows their character as a company.

Very helpful & understanding.

For an insurance broker / company they were very helpful and understanding. I caused them some extra work as I cancelled and repurchased, but they were helpful and understanding. I appreciated that. Also gave me the best price for my family insurance (with a provisional driver). There was one cheaper alternative, but they messed me around, so stuck with GoGirl.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by my insurance provider.

I called to report that I had been involved in an accident where I was not at fault. As this was my first experience dealing with an accident claim, I was not aware that I did not need to make a formal claim and that simply reporting the incident would have been sufficient. Unfortunately, the person who answered the call insisted that I proceed by making a claim rather than just reporting the accident.

When the third party’s insurer contacted my insurance provider, they requested evidence such as sketches or recordings. All available information was provided to them, yet I later received an email stating that there was “insufficient evidence” and that I would be liable to pay an excess of £800, despite being the innocent party.

It was only after I stated that I would not be paying anything and would escalate the matter to the Financial Ombudsman that they responded by confirming that I would not be required to pay. Ironically, this was followed by another email stating that the other insurer had accepted liability and that I would not need to contribute toward the accident costs.

This experience felt extremely frustrating and unprofessional. It appears that there was an unnecessary attempt to push costs onto me until I challenged the decision. I strongly believe insurance customers should not be treated in this way.

I feel that the process was handled poorly, with poor communication and unnecessary stress caused during an already difficult situation.
