DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I would give ZERO stars if I could… do NOT buy from this company. Their products are rubbish and when you try to contact them for a refund they ignore you!!! Please save your money. Order #PRE718721-1

UPDATE:: I have now emailed 9 times to try and return these faulty items (one of which doesn’t work at all and one which sparks when I plug it in) I have had zero response.. now having to go through lengthy process with bank… please no one else give this joke of a company another penny.

*NOT* a full money back guarantee as advertised

When I ordered a pair of ultraXtend WiFi boosters for my home, I tempered my expectations, despite the allegedly glowing online reviews. They were almost suspiciously cheap, and offered a 30 day money-back guarantee, so I figured I’d take them out for a run. They arrived a week or two after ordering, and once I’d (literally) taken a magnifying glass to the postage stamp sized instruction sheet enclosed, seemed simple enough to install.

Sadly, it was not to be. Neither of the two installation methods described could establish a connection between my router and the ultraXtend boosters. A phone call to their “tech support” phone number yielded a very nice woman who obviously knew even less about the product than I did. She half heartedly read a script repeating the instruction sheet I already had, and then told me if I still had problems I should write to their tech support email address (side note - the tech support email address in the instructions included in the box contains a typo, the correct address is support@gogogadgets (dot) io). I wrote them, asking three specific questions and enclosing a photo of the device so that they could see the configuration of status lights to avoid confusion… Three days later, I finally got a reply - ignoring my questions, and simply giving me a (useless) link to a YouTube video, and a pdf set of instructions which differed somewhat from the instructions included with the box… Which also didn’t work.

I was eventually able to establish communication between my router and the WiFi extender on my own, but at the end of the day it really didn’t provide more than a minuscule increase in my signal range.

No hard feelings, maybe it’s my router configuration that is at issue (doubtful). I cheerfully reached out to their customer support team and explained that the boosters didn’t work in my environment, and asked that they kindly send me the Returned Goods Authorization and return shipping address, as spelled out in their Terms and Conditions….

Two days later, they responded - ignoring my request for the Returned Goods Authorization Number and return shipping address, but offering me a 20% discount if I agreed to keep the order. I briskly responded, reiterating that the boosters simply don’t work in my environment, and asked that they send me the Returned Goods Authorization and return shipping address, as spelled out in their Terms and Conditions…

Further two days later, they replied - again ignoring my request for the Returned Goods Authorization Number and return shipping address, but this time offering me a 30% discount if I agreed to keep the order AND advising that if I still wished to return the items, they would impose a USD/GBP5.00 service charge - which is not disclosed in their terms and conditions gogogadgets (dot) io/en/terms-conditions/)…

I irritably reply, reiterating that the extenders do not work, so no level of discount is going to make me want to keep them. I point out that their term and conditions does not include a return service charge, and for the FOURTH TIME, I ask that they provide me with the Returned Goods Authorization Number and return shipping address…

A further two days later, customer service writes back, and provide me with a Returned Goods Authorization Number (huzzah!); but… they now inform me that I need to send my refund request to a different email address and advise this new department what I’m returning and why. Once received, I will be given further instructions. They also insist that the service charge is part of their (stealth?) refund policy. I exhaustedly comply with these new instructions… and I wait for the “further instructions”… and I wait. Finally, I write back to customer service whining about not having received the promised instructions, and they promptly reply with the address I need to ship my return to - but with an incorrect post code! Fortunately, I’m able to determine the correct post code without their help, and the rest of my return/refund is processed surprisingly quickly

Totally unhappy little bunny !

Wish I had read the reviews before dealing with this company. Total waste of time, money and effort. Recieved a trashed EcoHeat package and have been trying to get some sort of recompense - finally decided to let PayPal have a go but I doubt they (PayPal) will fair much better !

After ordering the earbuds, I read what the reviews were saying about the company. It was too late to cancel the order !! I agree with many comments about how misleading the website is customer service is a NIGHMARE and not even worth to be called service. I didn’t open the package (earbuds) when it arrived but still could not return it as the customerservice does not agree to the refund.

DO NOT BUY AT THIS ONLINE SHOP !

DON'T BUY their products! Awful....

DON'T BUY their products!! I've been trying to return their Ecoheat ceramic heater, Such a bad product, doesn't even stay in the plug socket and me standing in the corner blowing warm air out of my mouth would be more effective. Worst ever. Four emails later and they still won't give the return address out, they keep fobbing me off saying things like 'keep it and we'll give you 20% refund etc'. Total crap.

Hype

I purchased 2 eco heaters (I fell for the hype). One of the heaters arrived with the pins to the electric socket snapped off. I asked for a refund, was offered another heater. Apparently the customer must pay any postage associated with any returns although the company would have to pay postage to send a replacement so this is nonsense.
The heaters are not sturdy - probably useful for a caravan or a very small room but not for anything else in my opinion.

Ear buds

I had a problem with the ear buds that emerged past the "return/refund" policy period.
The company did offer and send a replacement after I raised the issue with them and the replacement product is fine.
I am impressed with their company statement that they valued my custom and were happy to provide a replacement without my needing to post the faulty set back.

Further update on this rubbish company

if i could have put minus stars I would .. ordered in good faith £88.90 for 2 EcoHeaters both arrived in a shocking state boxes totally destroyed and the goods look 2nd hand 1 heater didnt work at all and the other was extremely poor .. should have ready TrustPilot reviews first :-( .. trying to get refund for both heaters not to mention the exact same heaters Russell Hobs £19 each on Amazon total rip off ..

20.11.23 just had email from this company offering me 20% discount .. why would I take a 20% discount on goods that arrived not as advertised and not working and clearly 2nd hand .. waiting for their response to my offer to them for a full refund and not have to pay to send the goods back to them under my consumer rights

23.11.23 received further offer of 30% off original price !!!! really are they just not understanding they sent me 2 sub standard 2nd hand not as advertised units and want me to pay £60 (discount used) for the pleasure of throwing them away !!!! what a really rubbish company and they want me to send them back at my cost !!!!

I wish I had read the reviews instead of being trustworthy. The company has sold a useless video door bell and will not refund my money only offer me 30 % back for a worthless piece of equipment. Please do not get sucked in by them.

Not so Warming - Ecoheat - Gogogadet.io

Bought 4x Ecoheat looking at a number of reviews on line coming out quite high so thought brilliant I’ll get some, sadly I should have check trustpilot and other independent review companies as would never have purchased these, they don’t heat up rooms very well and even our smallest room the office it didn’t take the chill out of it. They make it so hard to return the items at your own expense. I would suggest buy from Amazon as it’s free returns and no quibbles. This company should be ashamed at charging and selling such shoddy products. They hide all the costs ie VAT and Shipping until you have purchased the items when it’s to late to back out.

never again i orderd a door bell and…

nevver again i orderd a dooe bell and nothing else only to find there was an order for earbuds at exactly the same price on a seperate invoice i was told it was to late to cancel the things i did not order but i could keep them for half price then threen quaters but i wanted a refund after many emails i had ro return the things at my expence supply various forms of proof of return paperwork then i was chargedd a handeling and around £25 was deducted from the refund for handeling costs
it is to far for me to go to holland to face them with the item that i kept which was unusable due to some technical fault
but i will use amazon in future trying to save a few quid was my woest mistake

After ordering the earbuds, I read what the reviews were saying about the company. It was too late to cancel the order. I agree with many comments about how misleading the website is but customer service was very good about the return. I didn’t open the package (earbuds) when it arrived, which is crucial if you want a full refund. It took several emails back-and-forth to finally get the shipping address for the return. I remained polite with the emails and the phone calls. Although I wasn’t very happy about having to pay shipping both ways, I did get a full refund.
