I just completed a remortgage with Gorvins Residential LLP. I was referred to them by my Mortgage Broker.

My case was handled by Ria Statham. She was great, throughout the process. I was impressed with her professionalism and attention to detail. Once she had obtained all the required information, she proceeded to work, and updates were provided.

Almost all of the communication was done via their app. It was quick; and messages I sent via the app were responded to in good time.

I found the app to be very useful because during the process, I had to travel abroad - but I was still able to access the app and respond to further requests for information; as well as being able to sign documents.

All the documents are readily available in the app, and you can of course print them, or email yourself a copy.

Ria (and the team) managed to complete on my preferred completion date; and I’m so happy and grateful to them.

Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with Gorvins and I would certainly recommend them. Thank you so much.

We had a great experience using Gorvins, the app was very user friendly and allowed us to keep on top of any documents / information we needed. It also had a great messaging app meaning I could easily connect with my solicitor. We had Kimiya dealing with our case and she was amazing, so fast and efficient - we never felt out of the loop. I would definitely recommend.

Gorvins were great through the whole buying process, quick to reply and action on anything required. I worked with Donovan L, and he was very snappy to respond to queries.

Ive always used solicitors the local to me mainly because I like to pop in paperwork as and when is needed and they're also on hand if there's a problem.

So I was a little bit concerned when I realized that this company do everything online.

But I shouldn't have worried because Arooj Asghar was always available, always explained everything perfectly, and kept me informed every level.

It made no difference that it was all done online.

The only difference was I didn't have hard copies of paperwork but Arooj has actually sent me hard copies through the post she really does go above and beyond 🙂

I can't praise her enough for her hard work.

I would definitely use this solicitors again and would happily recommend them to people too especially if they was assigned Arooj!

I had a very disappointing experience overall.

Firstly, there was a clear lack of continuity in handling my case. When my assigned solicitor went on leave, my case was not handed over to anyone else. This resulted in unnecessary delays, ultimately costing me an additional month’s rent. This is basic case management and should not have happened.

Secondly, I was charged £60 for a service that was never actually provided. After raising this, only £25 was refunded, with no clear or fair justification for withholding the remaining amount.

Finally, when I questioned these charges, the response I received was unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of addressing the concern constructively, the tone was defensive and shifted blame onto me, which is not acceptable when a client is simply asking for clarity on charges.

Overall, the experience lacked transparency, accountability, and proper client care. I would advise others to carefully review all charges and communications if considering using this service.

Muzna Afsar has acted as my case handler for two transactions now, and on both occasions, she has been exceptional. She consistently ensures the entire process is simple and swift, navigating every stage with high professional standards and clear communication. It is a relief to work with someone so reliable and efficient and I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a swift and easy experience.

Beth Stephenson was very kind when the process became very stressful. I feel staff at Gorvins have too many different cases to handle at the same time, so they are under lots of pressure.

I would have given a 5 star but just little bit of observation regarding communication method. Saffron Cranston made all the process easier for us being a first time buyer. Very prompt in actions and respond quickly on the App as quickly as possible. I love their fraud protection aspect where most of the financial details are shared via the App only. My only suggestion is that if possible, speaking with the client verbally should not left to completion date only as some clients may be confused at a different point in time and mail/app communication may not provide clarification needed. Lesmae Fabella is an amazing person and amazing help and very thorough and professional in her work. She responded to our queries in speedy manner, completed process at our timeline. I am very pleased with how Saffron Cranston has handled my case. She has always been on top with all communication and documents required. I also really appreciate their app as it shows and explains every step in the process, it provides direct communication with your case handler and also makes it convenient for keeping track with all the documents that need to be printed and signed.
