I have just endured the most stressful…

I have just endured the most stressful exchange and completion from one of my personal properties into one of my limited companies.
Gorvins were incredibly poor, missing deadlines, making numerous mistakes and assumptions that delayed and almost ruined my relationship with my regular solicitor firm.
I would never utilise the services of Gorvins again.
STAY AWAY!

Kerry was fantastic

Kerry was fantastic. I think it was thanks to her that the whole process of buying our first house was so swift. Got all the documents and searches quickly. Kerry is very responsive and communication is always clear. Bought our first house - offer to keys in under 2 months. Thank you Kerry! Have recommended Gorvins to other friends/family. Only thing I would improve is that when the seller attaches documents to their property information form, eg certificates and things it would be good if they could be uploaded to the app so we can get a copy as we don’t get them without specifically requesting them via email - thank you.

Thank You 🤩

Had a good experience with Gorvins as I was recommended by my broker. I feel the price was a little bit more than average according to my siblings experiences but I had great customer service quick responses and was dealt with on a professional manner. The only issue I had was the delay which I had to ask the bank to extend my offer but once I had a deadline, I’ve less than 28 days extension from NatWest they dealt with my case promptly and swiftly. My case handler Brianie Welsh had issues with the sellers solicitors as they weren’t as good as responding and sending out information that was required but even after chasing Gorvins for a response they were very prompt in contacting them several times to make sure we moved as quick as possible. I would like to say thank you for helping me with my first Home and I wish them great success for the future of the company.

First house purchase - Nicole Faulkner case handler

Nicole was excellent throughout my first house purchase. She oversaw everything from start to finish, keeping the process on track and making sure nothing was missed. She was always highly responsive, quick to answer any questions, and explained each step clearly, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable. I’d highly recommend her to anyone going through a property purchase.

Riyaan made very quick and efficient work of handling my remortgage which was processed speedily and funds received promptly. Riyaan also answered my queries promptly and communicated well.

Jermaine handled my case during a…

Jermaine handled my case during a particularly difficult purchase where the sellers and their solicitor were extremely unresponsive and hard to reach. Despite this, Jermaine put in a huge amount of effort, constantly chasing them for updates and pushing things forward on my behalf.

We did successfully complete in the end, and a big part of that is down to his persistence. I was often calling him every morning, and he always answered or got back to me promptly. He was also very responsive over email, sometimes replying almost immediately whenever I had questions.

I’m really grateful for his hard effort he puts into his work—I can’t thank him enough. He’s doing a great job, and I’d definitely say keep it up.

We had an excellent experience working with Macey Williams as our solicitor during our mortgage process. From start to finish, she was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. She took the time to explain each step clearly, which made what can often be a stressful process feel much more manageable.

I had a great experience with Gorvins Residential LLP, and I would highly recommend their services. My case was handled by Mustafa Jasim, who supported me throughout the entire mortgage process.

He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. From start to finish, he guided me clearly at every step, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. His communication was excellent, and he was always kind, patient, and approachable whenever I had questions.

I truly appreciate his dedication and support, and I’m very grateful for the positive experience. Thank you, Mustafa, and the whole Gorvins Residential team!

Excellent professional service

Excellent professional service. Amazing easy to use and helpful platform. Mustafa, my case handler was very efficient and the times I spoke with him in person he was polite, courteous and very helpful.

He kept us informed throughout, patiently answered all of our questions, and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. I had a very positive experience…

I had a very positive experience working with Amber Ferguson, my case handler on my property purchase.

Amber was professional, responsive, and clear in her communication throughout and was always available to answer questions or provide reassurance when needed. She kept me well informed at every stage and ensured the process stayed on track, particularly as we approached exchange and completion.

Her organisation and efficiency made the transaction much smoother and less stressful than expected. I felt confident in her handling of the matter from start to finish.

I would happily recommend Amber.

Do not instruct this company for conveyancing. You will have a nightmare.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Where do I start!! Don’t use this company under any circumstances. My sale of a flat took 6 months!! There was no chain as I was selling to the tenant. Gorvins blamed the delays on the buyer’s solicitor, when I know that the buyer’s solicitor had provided the list of enquiries on 10th November, it took, according to Gorvins, until 8th December for them to pass these enquiries onto the Management Company. Yes, there was a month delay when the Management Company and the Landlord didn’t get their act together, but my point was that this delay could have been happening in that month Gorvins were holding onto the enquiries.
There was a Power of Attorney involved and I had warned Gorvins of this from the get go and also provided the Power of Attorney to them twice via email; and I can prove the emails. Gorvins deny ever receiving the Power of Attorney even though there was an email chain with Gorvins and there were emails either side of the one with the Power of Attorney attached.
On completion day at 11:00am Gorvins phone for a copy of the Power of Attorney, they then decided that the document needed to be certified by a solicitor. The Power of Attorney had been in their possession from 12th September.
Again, completion day at 9:33am I received a phone call asking for the last management costs invoice and the ground rent. They could have asked for this in the last week before completion took place.
On completion day I was not informed that the completion had taken place, I only knew because the funds arrived in my bank account. Gorvins are adamant that an email was sent to me at 9:33am; but none was received. Strange that as they were asking for the management invoices at 9:33am. On the Monday following the completion I received a letter via email confirming the completion, no completion statement though. I asked for a copy of the completion statement, which they did provide; however the figures looked wrong to me, so I asked if asked for a breakdown of the completion figure. I was told they couldn’t give this to me as they didn’t have the figure. I know they did, as Banks send a redemption statement that outlines each individual cost of the redemption figure. I obtained a copy direct from the bank, and it was addressed to Gorvins!!
I sent my complaint to Gorvins and within 24hrs they had done their investigation and sent a response. Obviously not done a thorough investigation in that amount of time. Their response was full of economics of the truth and inaccuracies. I can prove my case with emails that are dated and timed. The joke was that they copied and pasted the figures I had sent them with regard to the apportionment figures, but had rejected those figures when I emailed them in. They claim they have credited to my bank the apportionment figure based on the figure I originally provided which was rejected, but I can prove via a bank statemen that they have paid me the calculated figure they preferred; which was incorrect.
I have put a complaint into the Ombudsman. It will be interesting to see what their investigations uncover.

I am so pleased with the service…

I am so pleased with the service recieved from Gorvins. Kimiya khezri went above and beyond helping and explaining each step of the way and made the purchase of my new home so straight forward and the process went without any delays. I would definitely recommend Gorvins to anyone wanting to purchase a property.
