Could do with more upfront explanations of more complex issues: Had to ask google how GoSimpleTax deals with xx or yy issue and they told me where to look on your site and how to do it!

Simple, cleat and reliable to use for landlords self assessment tax return when living overseas. This is my 3rd year of using it. It saves, totals and keeps all the data while you are completing the return, alerts you to any potential errors and upload to the HMRC website is completed without a hitch. You can also switch between current and previous years’ returns very easily

Simple and intuitive to use complimented with ready access to GST guidance for questions or issues that arise

The system copes with my basic tax return but as I relocated to another jurisdiction I was pleased to find it had a schedule which dealt with 'split residence'

It has a fairly intuitive UX with a clear tax calculation summary page and an easy submission to HMRC.

I will be using it again.

Very easy to use, and any queries are always answered promptly and efficiently. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I needed to use the software in order to claim tax relief under the FIG regime. First time user. I was able to complete and submit the return with relative ease. I made a few errors which were flagged by HMRC. I needed to use AI to have the errors explained in simple language. Accepted by HMRC on third try.

It was easy to use and was very helpful overall. Brilliant that I was able to send it to HMRC via the system. The reason I gave 4 stars was because there was a lack of helpful promts to explain various questions on the forms

I have real difficulty with technology and on numerous occasions I have had to contact the Go Simple staff for assistance. The help was invaluable and I couldn't have completed my self assessment form without their assistance.

Well designed tool for creating your tax returns. Helpful hints as you go. The glitch in the final submission process to HMRC has been fixed and the whole process was very smooth this year.

I use simple tax every year for a partnership and 3 self assessments. It’s so easy to use and reliable. Love it, well worth the money to avoid the stress!
