After recovering from a TBI I wanted to treat myself to a gaming pc this company was recommended but sadly it has been a disappointment. took ages to send the pc when I got it they only put 1tb SD should have been 2 also WiFi was not explained properly so they charged me another £45 to upgrade motherboad then had to wait a further 3 weeks when it come back it sounds like a jet engine even when i changed the temps and not playing a game! Plus there a constant red light flashing on top near the power button when I phoned customer service they said it's nothing to worry about they did not care that I had concern for health and safety reasons that this pc could overheat.Have not been able to use the pc since because I had a seizure and fell over so recovering from that. I just wanted to inform everyone this company has disappointed me after spending over £1700.00

Overall very good

Overall, a very good PC component seller. Good selection and competitive prices. The only caveat is the shipping: orders are sometimes shipped in several separate packages.

When customers order for the standard delivery we can cross dock the shipments when goods are transferred from one warehouse to the other for single shipments.

Excellence Delivered to Scotland

Delivery was wee bit late due to a storm in the south of England,but they kept me informed and it arrive a few days later.Well packed and extremely happy with it's performance and visual appearance.Did not get touse it for a couple of weeks as I was going away for Xmas,but really enjoying the experience.Everything I hoped it would be and more.Would recommend without hesitation.Best wishes to all involved in the process and have a happy New Year John Ferguson

Really good customer service

I bought a pre-built gaming PC and although I did have to briefly return it for an issue to be sorted, the process was so quick and the overall customer service so good that I was still really pleased with my purchase. The PC is now running great, seems to be well built, and I would definitely try Gotraka again. The speed of customer service response compared to some of the larger PC companies I've dealt with was a breath of fresh air.

I’ve been asked to write another review…

I’ve been asked to write another review regarding the packaging over my order.
I have to say how the parcel was boxed was done very securely, However I had trouble with the foam bag inside the PC, that while I understand is done to protect the hardware from any potential damage from delivery, it was very difficult to remove and was pushing against parts inside, I eventually managed to remove it but I felt I could have possibly done some damage to the GPU and RAM because of how the foam bag was pushed in deep behind the GPU and at the side of the RAM. Thankfully all parts are working perfectly but I was very worried at the time. Is there any other option available? Or is it just not cost effective?
You guys clearly care a lot about the service you provide so I trust you’ve explored any alternatives.

And again, thank you for the excellent PC! I will order from you again in the near future without a doubt.

You’re absolutely right that the internal foam can feel quite firm and a bit intimidating to remove. It’s designed to expand and mould around the components during transit, which is why it can sit quite snugly around parts like the GPU and RAM. While it may look worrying, it won’t damage the components and is specifically made to protect them from movement and shock during delivery.

That said, we completely understand why it caused concern, and your feedback is genuinely valuable. We’ve spent a lot of time testing different internal packaging options, and at the moment this provides the best balance of protection and reliability for shipping fully built systems. We’re always reviewing alternatives as they become available, especially ones that might be easier to remove while offering the same level of protection.

We’re really glad to hear everything is working perfectly and that the system arrived safely. Thanks again for the trust and for ordering with us — we look forward to building for you again soon.

Great aftersales service

Had a couple of issues with my order during a very busy period, monitor i ordered ended up not in stock and then ram was non rgb when pc arrived. I had a family bereavement same time so these small issues became big issues for me. ANDY in Gotraka took the time to speak to me and showed empathy and understanding and insisted on putting things right and done just that. This is something alot of companies are missing in sales and customer services. You only find out how good a company is when you have a problem after they have your money and Andy in gotraka has been amazing. Highly recommend

A company full of compulsive liars avoid at all costs

I originally wrote a compelling review for this company however my experience since and over the last 2 weeks has been the worst experience of my life. To put it in the simplest form these people are just compulsive liars even when the bare facts are in front of them. Their products are substandard build I have only had the PC since Christmas and had nothing but problems and constant lies. Do not go near this company with a barge pole they are disingenuous at best, worst customer experience ever

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you’re unhappy and we’d like to clarify the situation for transparency and accuracy.

Your original review described a very positive experience with both our service and the quality of the PC, which we were pleased to provide. Following this, you contacted us to report an issue with the system no longer powering on. Our support team immediately began standard troubleshooting to identify the cause and assist you as quickly as possible.

During this process, you informed us that a third party had attempted to carry out work on the PC prior to it failing. As outlined clearly in our warranty terms (provided at the time of purchase and available on our website), any third-party intervention voids the warranty, as we can no longer verify what changes or actions were taken.

Despite this, and as a gesture of goodwill, we arranged collection of the PC at no cost to you and carried out a full inspection. Our engineers identified a failed power supply unit (PSU). Given the circumstances, we offered to replace the PSU while waiving all labour and return shipping costs, charging only for the replacement component itself. This offer was made in good faith and with the intention of resolving the issue as fairly as possible.

We understand that technical issues are frustrating, and we’re sorry this experience did not meet your expectations. However, we strongly refute the suggestion that we have acted dishonestly. At all times, our team has communicated openly, followed our stated terms, and gone beyond our obligations to support you.

We remain committed to customer care and transparency, and we regret that this situation has led to such dissatisfaction.

Brilliant company

Brilliant company, received PC in perfect condition, not impressed with DHL though who signed my name and left the PC on the drive behind the gate, luckily it had stopped raining, but that's no fault of Gotraka.
PC packaged well and really like the personal touches, "happy gaming" hand written on the power lead box and a little packet of sweets, makes all the difference, great company, highly recommend.

New PC, fast service, quick turnaround

I decided last minute I needed a new PC. Over the weekend I sent my specification via chat. On Monday morning, they got in touch, we adjusted my requirements, they priced it up, gave me a great deal, built it, tested it and sent it to me. There was a minor issue with it in transit that got sorted immediately, at their expense. I'm more than happy. I would use them again and I highly recommended them.
