Efficient and quick from start to finish !

This is the first review I have written, but I have been so impressed by Zeal that I feel compelled to write one. I used Zeal for a capital allowance for my holiday let business. The process was incredibly easy and Thomas Pullen was extremely helpful. I got a fabulous result, saving me thousands of pounds.
I have contacted various people in the company with questions regarding my STL and EVERYONE has been exceptionally kind and helpful. Special thanks to Thomas and Keshia and to Matt (one of the directors) who offered me very useful advice.

I had a tax query regarding FHL and capital allowances. I had googled and tried contacting HMRC to no avail, so I rang Zeal. I spoke to Thomas, who was so helpful. He listened to my dilemma and we realised early on that Zeal wouldn't be able to do the work for me (my property value is under 90k). Thomas was very upfront about it which I really appreciated and he went to great lengths to help me and give me general advice to point me in the right direction. I now know how to proceed.

I was very sceptical at first having seen some negative comments on the cattery and kennel forum but having spoken to a young man called Nick Warner who explained everything from start to finish and the positives going forward I decided to give it a go. To be fair, left to my own devices I probably wouldn't have gone ahead it was purely down to Nicks tenacious and persuasive attitude to the claim that convinced me. After all I had nothing to loose as if there was nothing to claim back Zeal wouldn't benefit either. I am so glad I took the leap of faith. Not only did I get a good reduction on my second to last tax assessment but having now closed my cattery and finalised my accounts, Nick and the team from Zeal has worked their magic and I have just recieved an amount in excess of £16,500 ( that's the net figure with their commission already taken!!) I could not believe it! and to think I very nearly didn't go ahead. I can't thank Nick enough and any one who is sitting on the fence, go for it. Speak to Nick and the specialists at Zeal and let them work their magic for you.

At first I was a bit sceptical about going ahead with my enquiry with Gozeal . How wrong was I. Jay Hogan made the whole experience so easy, he explained the process from beginning to end and walked us through it. They do exactly what it says on the "tin".

Easy overall and saved lots of money going forward

I have to admit that if I hadn't already heard from my brother about the right to claim back embedded capital allowances on my holidays lets, I would have been totally sceptical. Talked to Matthew Heavyside at GoZeal, who made the process so simple and has saved us thousands of pounds on future tax bills. Hugely helpful in the current climate (and holiday lets will no longer be eligible for this after next April so I'm very relieved that we have this all sorted now).

The company is very helpful and in particular Vickie and Tom were excellent.

Further on from my complaint this company is now threatening court and only given me 7 days to respond even though we’ve been away for 10 days

Be very careful before using this company i strongly agree with the other warning reviews and which I had taken their advice and never got involved with them.
Even now after I complained they are still more interested in receiving their money than being supportive.
Avoid like the plague

If your business makes over the threshold (£85,000), then you will benefit from this, even though Zeal take more than a third of what you are projected to be paid. If your business does not earn over the threshold, then do not use their "services" at all, because you won't see any benefit for years, perhaps not at all. So to recap, if you are classed as a large business, go for it. Small business of 4 employees or less? Don't bother, because you won't see any benefit for a long time, if at all, and you could end up in debt as a result.

Our Zeal lead person made sure we completely understood the process and the due diligence required. Any questions we posed were answered confidently and competently. Excellent service!!
