Purchased a pair of these boots, lasted much less than a year. Large hole appeared above sole and hardly used them. Customer service didn't want to know because they could not find a record of our pur... See more

Had my highline boots 7 months and completely split around the calf area and fronts of the foot. I've bought good old Dunlop previously and lasted for years. I just wanted these ones with more warmth.... See more

Honestly my wellies were comfy, waterproof and warm. Roll forward two months and they're cracked, wet and uncomfortable. It really looks like poor quality rubber that's basically built into a good... See more

Grubs Fenline II 5.0 - AVOID!!!

Grubs Fenline II 5.0 - Didn't last 12 months before they cracked on the back of the heel and let water in. I didn't initially realise where the water was getting in until the holes got bigger, however this was just over the 12 months. What did Grubs say? "12 month limited warranty"

I bought some Le Chameau as replacements. I'd never buy from Grubs ever again, worst customer service ever. Shame on them for selling such a poor quality product.

Good Value, fast delivery.

Bought a pair of wellies off Grubs as a pair of knockaround wellies (I use Aigle’s for other stuff).
Great price, very fast delivery and everything good 👍🏼

Do not purchase Wellington boots from…

Do not purchase Wellington boots from Grubs.
My wife’s right boot split with crazing all around the split. I sent Grubs some photos, they told me they had excess use, had not been looked after and were probably stored incorrectly. These were expensive, over £80 and failed in less than a year. I would expect £20 wellies to last 2 or 3 years, but when you spend £80, I expected these to last 4 or 5 years.
The boots are made from poor quality material which failed in a relatively short time and when they failed Grubs use every low life trick to avoid their obligations.
Once more, when I chose to write this review, I can now see so many similar instances from other customers.
Failing products and poor customer service, please do not waste your money on Grubs boots, they do not meet the standard or expectation of the price tag.

Don’t waste your money

Bought my boots at the end of last winter which I wore for a month before the weather was too warm for them. Started wearing them again in November, only light use like the odd dog walk and cleaning out my chickens, and by January I stood in a puddle and got a wet foot. The rubber is coming away from the neoprene on both boots. I requested a replacement within the 12 month warranty and it was refused. Awful quality boots for the price and awful customer service.

Poor quality boots that started to leak…

Poor quality boots that started to leak after 14 months of very light use and even poorer customer service. Customer service admitted there was a fault but as it was outside of their 12 month warranty, there was nothing they could do. I at least expected a repair maybe or even part payment towards a new pair. Nothing, they wouldn't even reply to my follow up email asking if they should be backing up all their website claims of quality. Bear in mind, these are not cheap wellies, and after all that's all they are, wellies.

Replaced after retailer sought replacement.

I have a problem thats developed on the Grubs wellies I purchased from totally wellies .
I have attached pics.
Its on the right hand boot only where the rubber appears to be cracking.
The boots are only used for casual dog walking as and when needed and have not had a lot of use.
They have not been anywhere that could have contaminated or damaged them i.e. petrol or solvents.
Just grass areas and the beach etc.
They have not been damaged by force etc, you can see that around the area there is more cracking appearing.
I just think for what should have been a £70 quality item the defect should not have occured.

Look forward to your response
