The experience I had with Gym Sets is well worth the 5 stars I have given it. My order arrived on time, with no issues whatsoever. Would absolutely recommend others to buy from this site if they are in need of gym equipment. Excellent service.

Placed an order on the 6th March with an advised delivery estimate of the end of March. This came and went but no communication from Gym Sets. I followed this up to be told that they had been delayed but would be with them around the 23rd April. I waited and nothing arrived and no communication followed. I followed this up again on the 16th June and was told that the items were in stock and being prepped for dispatch. It is now the 1st July and still no items. I’ve emailed again but not received a response. I would avoid and go somewhere else where they care about their customers.

Gym Sets look like a cheaper option compared to competitors but now I know why.

I ordered the adjustable Dumbbells Set but it keeps locking and a piece of it fell off and just about missed my toes! I sent an email on Friday for a refund or exchange but they have stopped responding to me. When you try to respond to your email, you are given a warning to put you off! "You will be put in a longer queue"

TAKE MY ADVICE, SHOP ELSEWHERE! EVEN IF YOU ARE PAYING MORE!

I am going to file a dispute with PayPal and possibly Trading Standards!

Swift delivery, clear communication and a really good quality product at a fraction of the price from many other providers.

Used a few kit providers before for our 2 gyms & they can often be unreliable in terms of delivery & quality of product.

With Gym Sets our kit arrived in good time, was great quality & overall it was a great service. Glad to have found a provider we know we can trust to use again.

I purchased a Reformer Pilates machine from Gym Sets. This was a big purchase for me so I spent time researching and reading reviews and decided it would be worth taking the risk on ordering from Gym Sets due to the price and the lovely look and finish of the machine.

I paid for express delivery as it sounded like other customers had had issues with delivery. Dispatch was quick and delivery was scheduled quickly, with excellent communication from Gym Sets and the courier company, but unfortunately when the delivery arrived the box was damaged and when I unpacked the reformer it also had damage. I reported the issues immediately to the customer services team at Gym Sets and they were sympathetic, offering a store credit to compensate for the damage which they believed had been caused by movement within the packaging during transit, after the outer box sustained damage.

Unfortunately there isn't anything else I want to order from the company, so I requested a partial refund instead. I was informed that had been passed to the relevant team to action. I chased it up a few days later and was then informed that actually, as a small business, they could only afford a store credit and not a refund. Not wanting to be someone who quotes the consumer rights act, I did try to gently point out that a store credit isn't a suitable option unless that's what the customer requested, so they did consider the partial refund but dropped the amount they would offer.

I've asked about timeframes of returning the damaged unit for one in good condition, but it feels like at this stage after a lot of back and forth and time spent on this I'm chasing my tail and am just going to have to accept what's been offered. The team have been polite and responsive when chased, but this has overall been a really disappointing experience, that could have been avoided.

So if you are happy to receive a store credit if your delivery is damaged then I'd still say worth going ahead, but you can't expect a perfect unit to turn up so for me it wasn't worth it unfortunately.

Had a few items missing with the initial delivery but the overall customer service was excellent. They solved the issue quickly and sent out the missing items asap, itnwas an early birthday gift for a friend and he seems pretty happy with it overall. Would recommend to anyone on the fence about getting weights from this company :)

I have made two orders from gym sets
Both easy and the website was also easy to navigate. They had exactly what I needed and they had good value for money offers. Delivery was very good even though they were heavy items. Wrapped and sent the same day and I was informed of every step

Dealing with Gymsets has been the worst experience of my entire life buying stuff on line. They are completely dishonest, the staff lie and they make promises they cannot keep. I bought from them an 10kg kettlebell.

When I first bought this product I received a message to say my item was out for delivery, and for two days it did not arrive.

When I put in my post code it would tell me that my post code does not match to any address they have. I then received a message to state my item was too big and it was sent back to the seller. When it was sent back to the seller, it stated on evri it that my item was delivered, when it fact it was not.

For days I heard nothing from the company Gymsets, I then reached out to them and they told me they did not have the product in stock, despite telling me previously they did.

I asked for a refund and they persuaded me to get a similar product, a 12kg kettlebell, which they promised they would send the next day and a voucher as compensation. One week later and I had not received the new product.

I reached out to them again, only to be told that they also don't have this other product in stock despite telling me they did and that it would be sent the next day, I also never received my compensation voucher that I was promised.

And to make things worse they never contacted me to tell me it was not in stock, in fact I had to make contact with gymsets to find this out. They also told me that the product will not be in stock until the end of July. This is completely unacceptable.

I told them I wanted my money back immediately, and then they had the nerve to try and offer me another product, this time a 8kg kettlebell , which if I did accept would probably not be in stock also.

I ordered this over three weeks ago, I paid for a 2-4 day delivery service and three weeks later I have nothing. I told them I wanted my money back, and they tried to offer me a voucher I can use online for their products. This is absolutely appalling.

I am having a terrible experience with gymsets, I bought this product 3 weeks ago and I have nothing. And despite giving me false information and promising me next day delivery on products that they don’t even have in stock they have told me that my request for a refund would have to be reviewed. It’s absolutely disgusting, they are selling products they don’t have and yet when a customer wants a refund, which under the circumstances should not be an issue they can’t even do that, and have to review it first.

I am being 💯 % messed around by these jokers at gymsets.

Three weeks to wait for a product they don’t even have and to keep having to chase answers is not acceptable.

I would not recommend anyone use this company, I am very calm person and this company have made me so angry.

And I am still having to fight them to get my refund, a new refund for a product they don’t even have.

Ordered a Ez Bar and expected a delivery 3-5 days later.

After seeing the order status hadn’t changed for a week after ordering I decided to contact them which they assured me it will be coming soon and to contact back if it hadn’t arrived. Surprise surprise it never arrived!

I contacted again and then they told me it was actually sold out and they were sorry! Thanks for the apology! At this point I realised I’d been taken for a fool and requested a refund. They said okay wait 5-7 days…

No refund. Tried contacting and now they’re completely ignoring me. All over £28!!

Stay clear and report to trading standards unless you or someone else loses more money.

We ordered a pair of 40kg adjustable dumbbells. They turned up earlier than expected, in good condition, and work perfectly. Overall a good experience and they were very well priced too

The delivery was really quick and everything was well packaged. The dumbells are well made and robust, they do the job they're designed to do! Its definitely worth getting the stand for them, it just makes adjustment, removal and re-installing them in their holders much easier. All in all, a spot on bit of kit 👌

I have changed this from 2 to 3 stars because after posting this review I got a call from Paul who was very apologetic and provided me with the clips and a £10 voucher for gym sets UK. This came far too late as had already ordered the clips from elsewhere and will not be using the voucher as won't be buying from the company again but credit where credit is due Paul provided a level of customer service sorely lacking at the beginning.

Ordered bar with weights for a 21st Birthday present. Bar came in cardboard tube packaging which had unraveled and therefore no clips/collars or manual as they had obviously fallen out and the weights were drowned in grease in the wrapping. Advised the company and they wanted me to complete a form so they could investigate with the courier before they would send out replacements. As it was a birthday present I didn't have time for this so just ordered clips from another company. For the sake of something that costs £6 and to provide good customer service knowing it was for a birthday present they would have just sent them out with a manual. I dread to think what their response would be if it something more substantial they lost in transit. I won't be using them again.

I ordered some glass meal prep containers and I was really impressed by the price and the quality of the product. Delivery was speedy and they have made life so much easier! I recommend the company
