A DISASTER
This is a Review after 6 months. From the start this has been a Disaster. Very carefully measured the max area involved and marked these clearly on the skirting. Not complied with without problems. Next issue is that various people from different companies come along with different jobs - cutting the floor, installing and then fitting. Not seamless - various time delays and final fitting was poor with carpet damage and no phone. Left to arrange this myself - with could not do and an engineer eventually said the whole phone need replacing. Carpet still not fixed properly.
Just one of many problems. Now Alarm has gone and no idea why. Getting an engineer out is hard at this time of year. Cant recite all the Calls and emails relating to this installation.
This is not what I would expect in a very trying situation and I would not recommend to anyone.

Tony who installed the stair lift was very polite and explained everything clearly so I could forward the information on to my mother in law on how to use the stair lift . He left everything clean and tidy . Also Tom the sales man was very good too .my mother in laws stair lift was fitted within a week. (Brilliant service).

Delivery was great, online and all packaging was removed!
The engineer was excellent!! He explained everything superbly and it was a pleasure to have the stairlift installed by him!!!

Excellent caring service from all members of staff at Handicare. The stairlift has made an enormous difference, allowing my husband to safely get up and down the stairs. From initial call to measuring up and installation we were treated with kindness and respect. Many, many thanks Handicare.

From first contact with Handicare stairlifts it was clear they do care.
Their warm welcome, all relevant information, staff and efficiency are very good. The chair lift is now installed and Dad has found it so easy to use despite having severe arthritis in his hands. It looks really neat was installed so quickly and all was explained and a demo all given before he left.

Stairlift was installed by Handicare via AgeCo for my late mother. Seemed to work OK while she was alive but, now she has passed away, I need to get it removed before the house clearance and sale. However they are not responding to my telephone calls, emails or communications via the online form and despite what they say on their website re removal.

Needed a stairlift fitting for a friend of mine, filled in a form online, received a phone call to arrange home visit and the gentleman Stephen was absolutely amazing went through everything process for everything was outstanding would highly recommend

Brilliant company!! Easy to contact and pleasant to deal with. First class equipment. The service engineers are always cheerful, knowledgeable, and leave no mess.

Having to store the parts for 4 days was inconvenient. If no garage, keeping indoors could be a hassle. Instalation was very good. The engineer, Julian, was polite, friendly & helpful. He left everywhere clean.Spent time explaining how to use the lift. The only downfall, the parking space is not suitable, as the chair can't be passed if you want to use the stairs. The lift itself is very good. We found that it is best left at the top of the stairs, when not in use.

Great company to deal with. Surveyor extremely thorough in assessing both site of stairlift and the elderly user. No high pressure selling, but a competitive price, a high quality product and a swift installation plus a 24 month warranty. All staff were caring and helpfull.

This is a company that really takes its business commitment so seriously from booking until installation they were excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend them , they installed a stairlift and were so professional I was delighted with the service the fitter was a genuinely nice chap so accomplished and was only approx 2/3 hours at my home , I was kept informed regarding dates and arrival times etc by the superb friendly office staff , look no further than this company they liasion superbly on all aspects 👏

I live a significant distance from my mother and I arranged for a Handicare stairlift to be installed for my mother last year. The experience was painless and efficient.

She has had a small issue with the unit. But, this has been dead with promptly. I had a query on the initial warranty and a possible extended warranty. I left a call back request and the team responded within the hour via email & then by phone. They were polite, prompt & extremely help. which, considering my distance from my mothers home has put my mind at rest should there be other issues.

We requested an annual service 3 months ago. They phoned today to say they have " honoured " it because we reuuested the service while the stairlift was still in warranty. I pointed out that they havent honoured it yet. Apparently their engineer left and they had to train another. Then the new engineer left, which suggests there is an underlying issue in the company. We are not happy.

Friendly helpful service from start to finish. Survey visit was arranged quickly, information was given clearly and following our decision to order from Handicare, our stairlift was delivered and installed a week later. Great service.

Could not fault the experience from initial enquiry
to instalation.The stairlift is now an essential part of my life, and I am sure any follow up experience with
Handicare will be just as easy.
