In common with many previous reviewers, I should have checked here before ordering. I was fortunate in that the items I received were not unwearable, although not nearly as good quality as would appear from website. However, they took 2 weeks to arrive and the returns policy is a complete scam, requiring items to be sent back to China by airmail after the company has agreed to take them back. Do not order from them!

One star is too many. Over priced, Ill fitting, poor quality, totally unlike the description on the web site, is how I would describe their clothes. Their returns policy is a scam, involving lying to customs and posting back to an address in China. Despite the clever marketing name they have no link to Manchester. A total rip-off.

Company keeps you posted on progress of your order and answers any queries promptly. My blouse was absolutely gorgeous and I have had many compliments when I wear it! It is stylish and smart, and super comfortable and I’m going to order another one in a different colour become I love it so much!

Do not touch this firm with a large pole. My wife ordered a blouse over 2 months ago, it never arrived, in fact the tracking information still says on its way. They promised a 10% refund, but that never arrived. Total scam. Not a British company based in Manchester, but a Chinese company. Credit

Hope no-one else falls for this company. A Chinese company posing a an established UK company. The top I ordered looks a little like the photo on their website but it isn't the same styling or quality and the finishing on the item is poor.
Avoid at all costs.

Awful- total scam- clothes not anything like the description- cheap fabric- poorly made- not the same cloth as description. Have to return to china tracked at your own cost. DO NOT USE!! .

Don't go anywhere near this company. The clever photos look good but the items, which take ages to arrive, are very poor quality. I should have looked more closely at the description of the fabric (nothing to say what it actually is - just 'lightweight, 'breathable' etc). Returns have to be sent to China, rather than to the return address on the parcel, and in the email I received saying that if I was 'determined' to return my order rather than keep it and accept a 20% refund I should post it to China and - this amounts to advising me to lie -
'Declare a low value on the customs form—higher amounts may incur delays or fees, which would unfortunately be your responsibility'
I have decided that returning the items is not worth the trouble and expense, as there is no guarantee I will get any money back. I'm going to cut my losses, donate the items to a charity shop, and hope that this review will help other shoppers to steer clear of this company.

This is a complete scam. A Chinese company posing as an established British company selling quality clothing. Avoid at all costs, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Shoddy clothing which bears no resemblance to the pictures and not returnable due to the cost (read their returns policy) I've been well and truly caught out!

Very satisfied with everything received. Always in perfect condition and beautifully packed. Will be ordering more in the future. Excellent company.

Carpe diem - buyer beware. I wish I had read the reviews before making a purchase from this company. Like others reviewers I was more than disappointed with the delivery time, 16 days. I had ordered size small and what I received was more like 14-16. When I contacted the company I too was offered discounts on future orders and told returns were at my expense and needed to be tracked. If I was returning it to a UK address I would have done so but as the return address is in China and no guarantee of a refund I have decided to cut my losses and donate the dress to a charity shop.

Long delay till the goods arrive. One of the three items is from Harrington & Hale - not Harrison & Hayes. It's a front for something/somebody and I shall never use them again.

Stretchy tops were ok but others far too small. Same issue as others in that they offered 15% then 20% & I could keep the clothes. Why, when they don’t fit! Anyway returns sent off this morning.

I fell for the same scam only a few months ago they called themselves Camilla of London. Quality appalling. I did send back despite them keep emailing to say take a 10% discount. Used tracking and it’s stuck at china customs. Obviously the address was false and they have nowhere to send it onto.

Less than one star. First scam I have fallen for sadly. Inferior quality polyester and totally misrepresented. took weeks to arrive which made me suspicious .
Now they are offering alternatives to a refund & small print says I have to pay to return . Like all others on here I thought it was UK based . Even if I pay to return it will I even see the money ? I guess they just send it out to someone else ? Think I might just put it in the charity shop

Tried to dissuade me from returning the items as "we’re passionate about reducing our environmental impact" hmmmm!!!

I thought I was buying from a British company. I received my items eventually and the quality is appaling. I wish I had read the reviews . Now I discover that I have to return the items to China, Tracked of course. As others have said, I'll never order from a FB advert again, yet this one implied that it was British owned. Rubbish! Do Not Buy from this company Harrison and Hayes.

This company portrays a UK company when in fact it is in China. The clothes are badly made and nothing like the items on the website. They do not have any size, care or material labels. Which means they are defective and should pay the return cost. Which they refused to do. Only when I opened a case through PayPal did they offer a 75% refund on the condition I closed the case first. It took over 50 emails to get to that point. I wish I had read trust pilot reviews and not relied on the website. SCAM DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! I would give no stars if I could!

before ordering I tried to ensure that a UK company was at least and agent. I ordered the largest size, but the sleeves were so narrow that I could not even try on the dress . Despite this it took almost another week to get H&H to say they would refund my money - and only then if I posted it back -tracked- to China.
What a cheat. This just seems a scam for making money.

Harrison & Hayes is not what it seems. Order takes weeks to arrive from China (some items never arrived), quality of clothes is really poor and when requesting a refund, the company puts up many roadblocks. Return policy is opaque & it now appears i have to pay to return items using tracked postage to China. I will update this review when the process concludes, to share whether i receive a refund for goods returned & for those items that were never received. In the meantime, i recommend you avoid this company.

If I could give minus 5 it would be nearer the truth. The dress was nothing like the quality promised and a refund required sending to China rather than Manchester where they promote they are based. They harp on about environmental reasons for offering partial refunds and credits but it’s just another scam. Buyer beware at all costs!
