5 deliveries and not 1 was problem…

5 deliveries and problems with every one.
Messages not responded to.
Phone service people try to help but after 5 weeks of problems, ranging from food missing to no delivery, we have now given up.

Scam company

Wanted to try out hellofresh again and I did and it was great. Just got some more money, so we could afford it. I forgot how quickly you already need to plan next week, so now it has ordered a full package 5 meals (600 kr) and I'm not home. Tried writing to customer support, couldn't do anything. It literally says "Behandling..." under status. It's a scam, obviously you can cancel the order. Tried coming back thanks for the trashy experience, never coming back.

I can understand from the feedback you have received from our customer service that you have passed our deadline for canceling your meal box. The only thing you have to remember is that our deadlines for changes/cancellations are Tuesday evening at 11.59 pm for Sat-Sun deliveries, Wednesday evening at 23:59 for deliveries Monday-Tuesday and Sunday evening at 23.59 for deliveries on Wed-Fri. We in customer service can help you until 22 all days except Saturday.

We complete all orders after the deadline for the upcoming delivery week so that we can best coordinate with our suppliers and ensure you get the freshest ingredients from them to your door, as well as reduce food waste as much as possible.

We inform about our deadline at registration, but understand that a weekly delivery does not work for everyone. That's why we offer the option to skip up to 5 weeks at a time, or to have a subscription plan with delivery every two or four weeks instead.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but unfortunately we cannot offer to cancel your meal box. If you have follow-up questions about this, you are always welcome to contact our team on phone +45 92 45 29 77, or via the chat on our website.

Scammers.

I'm absolutely disgusted with this company. They're thieves. I took the initial offer and money came out of my account for a second box. Not only that but they said I made another account and charged me for a third box after I'd cancelled straight away.
After I contacted them, they had the gaul to tell me that I had made two separate accounts on my one email address. They stole over 50 quid from me.
Customer service are extremely rude and blatantly lied to me. I'll be doing a charge back.
Avoid this company at all costs. Bunch of thieves.
Edit, at time of my review, these cowboys set another account for me at 12.20pm. I recieved an email welcoming me when I had already cancelled.
Disgusting practices.

HelloFresh is a subscription service that means you automatically receive a delivery every week after you sign up. The system places an order for you in advance, which you yourself are responsible for controlling or changing. I am sorry that it was not clear enough and caused confusion. We are proud to call ourselves a flexible subscription service, i.e. we have no commitment period or requirements for purchase, and you can choose your deliveries yourself to ensure that we fit into your everyday life. The only thing you have to remember is that our deadlines for all changes and cancellations are Tuesday evening at 23.59 for deliveries Saturday-Sunday, Wednesday evening at 23:59 for deliveries Monday-Tuesday and Sunday evening at 23.59 for deliveries Wednesday-Friday. We in customer service can help you until 22 Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday evenings!

The payment is made every week after your deadline, either Thursday or Monday morning. Please note that only us in customer service can delete your first order, which is also described under our terms and conditions.

We complete all orders after the deadline for the upcoming delivery week so that we can best coordinate with our suppliers and ensure you get the freshest ingredients from them to your door, as well as reduce food waste as much as possible.

Hello fresh is shakey with the quality…

Hello fresh is shakey with the quality of food delivered. Vegetables are NEVER fresh and are either soft and almost unusable or completely unusable. Every single item is on the border of expiration. We got food poisoning from the fish once and meat is extremely fragile when delivered. Buyer beware.

We work extremely hard with our suppliers and couriers to ensure all our produce is as fresh as possible when it is delivered to your door. This includes keeping the protein and dairy products chilled during transit and storing ingredients in our temperature-controlled facility before sending them out.

Missing ingredients

If an ingredient is missing and you want to complain, even if you are a couple in the same household, only the “account holder” can complain. Even if 2 people are paying for it and eating the food, and the servings are made for 2.
Plus, they only give you credit into account for the ingredients missing, when you already paid for that service that was supposed to include everything, and the money should go into your bank account instead.
I decided to not deal with them again, so that money goes it l the trash.

According to the GDPR law in Denmark and Europe, we cannot make any changes to our customers accounts without the account owner's permission.

Regarding your compensation, we can of course always refund them back to your bank account. We do not want you to pay for an item you have not received, but the reason we choose credit as a form of compensation is that it is faster for our customers to use this amount as a refund can take up to 10 working days.

If you haven't done so yet, please contact our lovely customer service team on +45 92 45 29 77 so they can report it and of course compensate you.

I was always afraid of services like this, but luckily everything went very smoothly. Got a good discount for my first box, the delivery was on time and honestly the meals were great :)

Appauling and missleading payment system

Hello Fresh's online payment system is quite not transparent. I linked my paypal account to Hello Fresh to browse the menus and that resulted in me paying yesterday evening TWICE for one week of delivery, withouth knowing - I just wanted to browse the menu- menu which by the way is not browsable unless you add a payment method. Nowhere on the website you are having a 'confirm payment' or 'pay now' so I didnt even think that I ordered twice for 2nd february. I saw this morning the payment going through so not even after 12 hours I got in contact to receive a refund- in the end the policy didnt allow me to get a refund for both orders now I have to wait for your products - which is totally insane. Awful customer experience, Awful and missleading buying experience. I genuinely wanted to make a subscription with you from next week onwards but after this I will not spend my money with this company.
