Nice and easy on-boarding experience. They seems helpful and they have plenty of tools on YouTube and their blog.

Everyone I have spoken to has been excellent and very easy to talk to making it a very pleasant and comfortable conversation.

Helpbox have payment in full for my accounts 2025/26 but were too incompetent to manage the work so I have employed a new accountant They are withholding my money until I remove my honest and factual reviews!! 😏

All they were concerned about was me signing up, and after I signed up, it was just direct debit taken on time, and I was never able to reach them and get stuck in their bureaucratic structure. I have been trying to reach them for more than 6 months, but I have never connected with the right person. Some people there were clueless. I would suggest avoiding the firm.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Helpbox UK.

I had an onboarding call, during which I was asked to pay £480 - a portion of that for my LC's previous year's filings, and the rest as the first monthly service payment.

During the onboarding calls I asked for two items of feedback.

My first payroll was presumably done (they gave me a login to a system that showed the payroll run), but it later turned out that this was never actually filed with HMRC, when I got a message from HMRC stating that my payroll run registration was overdue, and I then had to do a late payroll run regsitration myself.

The items of feedback I asked for, I never received. In fact, I was never contacted by Helpbox about this matter again, and emails I sent to follow up was never replied to.

I also tried phoning them a few times, and every time I reached someone who wasn't able to help me themselves, but said they would get someone to call me back, which never happened.

After a month of this, I asked them to cancel my service, and refund the payments. A month later (during which I called back twice to find out the status of the refund) I was told that the Terms & Conditions of our agreement says that no payments are refundable.

I would advise anyone to steer clear of this company. I definitely learned a very expensive lesson.

Poor service. The staff weren't all informed on communicating so I found myself repeating and reiterating multiple things which was exhausting and unprofessional. Multiple missed meetings and no confirmed times for follow up meetings no teams link sent. Payroll forgot to do their job. Then they agreed to give me a refund then changed their mind. All in all inefficient they also promised holding company structuring but turns out this is outside their staff scope of ability. Avoid helpbox

I have been with Helpbox since launching my hospitality business in 2022 and I highly recommend their services. Starting a new operation, scaling it, and keeping track of all the accounting aspects from payroll and VAT to annual accounts filing and much more can be complex and confusing at times. I found Helpbox to be a great partner with a knowledgeable and highly responsive team that understood and anticipated my company's needs. Over the years I’ve come to know and trust the people there very well.

I got in touch with them as I ventured into sole trading. Michelle’s talked to me for around two hours. Never asked for a penny. Called several times and was so helpful and professional . I didn’t join at that time- then when it was the right time- Harvey contacted me and again spoke for a long time and was professional and patient. I had an issue come up with invoicing- Harvey talked me through it and gave great advice, all this before I had onboarded with them. Alkis called me and was so polite, positive and made it super easy. I say all this as an example of what an amazing service these guys offer. No matter how many questions you have they are always willing to help. 5 star service and I’ve only just begun working with them. If you have doubts - speak to them once, you’ll see.

Excellent initial on boarding service now just waiting for the rest of onboarding service to be completed shortly I hope fingers crossed..

The team at Helpbox are fantastic! Evrything is clearly explained, and they are good at making what seemed a daunting process simple and easy. Danica dealt with my tax return and was so helpful - I had quite a few questions as it was my first time filing a tax return - she was very quick to respond and explained everything very clearly.
