My partner and I have been using this service for a few months now, and up until Friday it has been good.
Friday the cleaner we had booked for missed her recurring appointment, without giving any justification or notice. I immediately contacted Helpling half an hour into the appointment, explaining the situation and asking if it was possible not to charge for the booking since it didn't take place.
I tried contact them via WhatsApp, no reply. Calling? Lines are closed? Email? I am now on my third and I still didn't get a reply, not even an automated one.
Meanwhile, the money was taken from my account, and I'm out of pocket for a 3h booking that didn't take place.
While I'm sure that Customer Service is busy, I would appreciate AT LEAST a message acknowledging the query and when I can expect a reply. And given that they've taken my money for a service that was not provided, I'm expecting not only a swifter way of dealing with complaints but also a full refund.
Summing up: great company and service if you have everything running smoothly, not so great when you have a problem and need to contact customer service.

I booked a cleaner for Thursday 2pm, a week before actual date. I advised agency that if this date is not possible to let me know by Monday 1pm so I can arrange elsewhere ( tenants due to move in so critical clean/date). A cleaner was confirmed the same day. The day before clean I was advised the cleaner could not attend as going job centre. I was then assigned another cleaner who messages on the morning of clean to advise she cannot make the time or date either. The cleaner then asked for more money and advised can attend following day. The office were no help so I just had to go ahead and hope for best.
The cleaner arrived 9am Friday and had to use a phone translator to understand what needs to be done ( which is not alot as brand new house, all new items, that was professionally cleaned a few weeks back but we wanted another clean for new tenants due to dust ect)
I returned after 3 hours, paid her the additional money she requested and one I had viewed the work she done was uttered disappointed. I am not sure what was done in the 3 hours as their was still dust were previously, windows not cleaned, stairs not hoovered, surfaces not wiped. My partner and i ended up cleaning ourselves Friday night.
Overall i paid £67 for 3 hours and complete waste of time.
As someone whos worked at a cleaning agency i under how this works but i gave ample opportunity to let me know if that date wasn’t possible and there was just no update from the office and then when the clean was done, just shocked at how under whelmed we were and the office dont seem to care just took the money with no response.
Overall very unsatisfactory and disappointing experience from start to end.

Writing this review as reminder that a great company does not only consist on providing a good support for their customers but also for their cleaner partners!
I asked for help with the team as I a plan on moving town and needed to check if Helpling had many customers active in the area.
Riccardo seemed unprofessional, was extremely unhelpful and had a far from empathetic customer service leaving me a quite passive aggressive email asking something I already had replied to him.
After I forwarded the email showing I had answered his question already,
I was never replied again.
It’s been 1 month and a half and I still have no news about something that would be very important for me to know before moving to a new town. And I am sure it’s something he could have easily checked for me.

This is just a review of starting up with them and using their booking procedure as I haven't been given a cleaner yet, but it's a really easy to use system, people can set their own price and there is just a small fee for using their services, and you chose how often, and when you want to use their services for. Very happy so far!!
