Heritage is the best! Great quality products/well priced. Keeping my V-dubs on the road/looking good. Not sure what I would do without them 👊
Just be aware of the quality issues
of the EMPI carbs Herritage Parts provide and level of real world support of they offer, I recently purchased a kit (34ICT duals) for my rebuilt T1 1641 motor. Not only did they ship with 150 mains supposidly bolt on for 1300 to 1600cc (where a 1641cc on there website suggest 145s which are smallse so the are miss jetted), but the pump housing machining is substandard / miss drilled causing them to leak baddly, also the brass vacum pipe pickup pipe pulled out of the housing when trying to remove the vacuum to
distributor pipe (apparently its my job to push it back in??) To get any solution the only option offered is to removed and retun the entire kit leaving my car unusable. I will be avoidong EMPI products and Herritage where possible, not easy in the UK. Lesson learned - buy genuine, not chinese copies if you value your sanity. A V O I D
Hello, no, I'm disappointed because you state on your website that the belts I bought were 9.5 mm wide, and you're sending 10 mm belts. I have a 1991 Golf 1 Cabriolet, and the original belt should be 9.5 mm, not 10 mm, so yes, I'm very disappointed. Sincerely,
this delivery arrived n time by Royal Mail unlike DHL/DPD which never do next working day even though they have been paid for that service
1. Competitive pricing
2. Quality products that fits
3. Good delivery timeline
Just the product I wanted delivered quickly and simply.
Part ordered is fine, but item took to long to dispatch
Excellent help on the phone to make sure I got the right part and good tips on how to make for easier and less troublesome fitting.
Finished by the speedily delivery of quality parts. Top notch 🫡👍
The parts were excellent quality, good price and delivered swiftly - thank you!
The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars is that many of the website part descriptions are too minimal to be helpful. For example, I tried to find the O-ring that seals the TD5 rotor housing to the oil cooler - not possible on the Heritage Parts website unless you already know the part number, because there are about 20 different O-rings listed for TD5 Defenders, all of which are just described as "O-ring"; no way of knowing from the description which one is for which purpose. Other parts suppliers' websites are much more helpful in this regard.

I’m still waiting for the part to be delivered

Fast delivery easy to order and the lights were great value for the price
Very good for parts that are in stock/easily available. At least you are kept informed if delivery is delayed, and usually if it’s not in stock the lead time is on the page. Everything I’ve had has been good quality and delivery good too.
Easy to find the part I needed and delivered quickly
The website states 2-3 working days, yet it takes well over that time to receive your goods. Only use if you’re happy to wait, wait and wait some more for your goods. This wasn’t a single isolated experience as I placed numerous orders with the same delay in delivery. Customer Services states it’s 3-5 working days to despatch the order. Although the website itself doesn’t mention this. No apology given from Heritage Parts.

I always use Heritage Parts Centre for all my parts needed for my many VW restoration products. Parts needed are usually in stock and delivered within a few days. Everything I purchase just fits. They are more expensive than other places, but the products are of good quality and I’ve never had a problem. Would definitely recommend.
So pleased to find this great company.
Fantastic service, second time that I have used this company and an amazing service and wont hesitate to recommend Heritage Parts Centre to everyone.
Shipping was a little pricey, but the package arrived 4 days after I placed the order, overseas. The box the parts came in would have withstood an elephant standing on it. Lots of care and detail to ensure the package would arrive safely.
Purchased an SSI exhaust for approximately £3,000 which was delivered around 8 weeks late due to being out of stock.
The item remained boxed in my garage for a short period before being handed to a mechanic for installation, as the packaging appeared completely intact on delivery. There were no signs of damage to the box that would have prompted immediate inspection.
Following installation, a significant dent in the exhaust pipe was discovered. Given the condition of the packaging, this was clearly not caused during transit and must have been present prior to dispatch.
I contacted the supplier with photos and a full explanation, however the response was simply to refer to their terms and conditions, stating that any damage must be reported within 3 working days. Despite clarifying that this was not transit-related damage and requesting a review based on the evidence, no assistance was offered.
This is extremely disappointing, particularly given the value of the item. For a purchase of this level, I would expect a more reasonable and customer-focused approach rather than a strict reliance on policy without consideration of the circumstances.
Overall, a very poor after-sales experience and not what I would expect from a specialist supplier.
