What can I say that others have not…
What can I say that others have not already said? I have a high-spec laptop that is next to useless, and a customer support service that is extremely difficult to talk to. Then, when you do get through, they can't help. Never again...
Well that printer got Ron Swansoned in…
Well that printer got Ron Swansoned in the garbage. Hp are terrible products with terrible customer service.
Without doubt the worst on-line company…
Without doubt the worst on-line company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I assumed, as an established firm, that I would have be able to discuss and issues that arose. They sent me a £250 printer and took my money, no problem at all. Unfortunately it doesn't work, iv3 had to take 2 days off work, as they are only available during working hours. They are not able to fix it, and are now ignoring every email and phone call I make, to try to get it picked up and my money back. DO NOT BUY FROM HP, the product was faulty and customer service is terrible. I would have given them 0 stars if that was an option!
HP could not deliver a laptop to me…
HP could not deliver a laptop to me even after trying ordering 5 times and ending up with the bank thinking the transactions were fraudulent.
They can't recognise a simple address and cut off half of the address (the flat number) meaning the item continually didn't get delivered.
Now I'm returning an HP laptop from a different address and they have done it again - completely missed the first line off the address of even after to confirming it phonetically.
They are almost the most difficult company I've had to deal with and there customer service continually fails to live up to it's promises. Actions never seem to get completed and calls are just a waste of time as the information they give is lazy and incorrect. They is a total lack of customer service and quality control in my many experiences of this company and I wish my daughter hadn't bought a laptop from this company as I'd vowed never to deal with them again!
Utterly useless
Utterly useless. Malfunctions at every stage. Hours setting up and nothing.
Instant Ink - huge price increases!!
Instant Ink - they sign you up to a reasonable plan, and then raise the cost very regularly and much higher than the inflation rate. The ‘in hand’ pages are also reduced when you reduce the plan pages.
Very poor service!
Hewlet packard blackmailers…
My printer a desk jet 4220e was new last year . It was always a nightmare to use but I cancelled my ink subscription they make you have last June. By January they hadn't stopped billing me and blocked the printer .
Its still blocked despite online chats I couldn't get help or complain .so im having to bin a new printer
No updated drivers for Windows 11
Why has Hewlett Packard still not updated its drivers for even though Windows 11 operating system has been in use for more than 3 years now!!
Could it a built in obsolescence?
How can such a company sink so low
I bought one of their new wireless printers last year. With over 7 months of full warranty left I have cancelled my account and thrown the printer in the bin.its been nothing but trouble since I bought it as it lost connectivity with the internet at every opportunity. It's performance when it worked was ubrilliant. There comes a time when you have to decide that you are not prepared to continue hitting your head against a brick wall. It happened to me when I needed to type a letter to renew my driving licence after a health problem. But their support using an AI assistant was unbelievably bad.
I eventually rang them and closed my account which is in credit.
They then sent me an email saying they would have to charge me.
Not a chance in hell.
Should be no stars for a printer that…
Should be no stars for a printer that is 10 months old and hasn't worked for more than two successive weeks, since purchase.
The ink is shown to have run out only after a few pages and the printer stops because of this. Only installing a new cartridge makes it continue, so continually buying it. Have sent several emails but had no response. As a private tutor, I rely on my printer for my lessons. Have had to use friend's printers- both Brother printers- or write things by hand.
I thought I just had a dodgy unit but a friend bought an HP printer a couple of months
ago and after not being able to complain, they have now binned it and got an alternative.
Wish I had looked on Trustpilot before I got mine; absolutely not fit for purpose.
Stay away from Hewlett Packard - Huge let down in service!!!
I ordered a repair service from HP to replace a screen crack of my laptop.
After few days I received a msg that my parcel has been shipped back from a courier delivery schedule on their site.
Not only my returned parcel got misplaced and I received a package of tobacco instead, I also had to deal with this stressful situation for nearly two weeks now.
After a lot of back and forth over the phone, emails and msgs with HP support via WhatsApp, I finally got a short email stating that my parcel has been returned to HP (Flextronics Gsm HP laptops).
Despite not received any explanation from the company about what happened, I have requested photos of my laptop before they would re ship it.
For my surprise, the picture shows that my laptop has a significant damage on the left corner which did not have previously.
I have requested a replacement of my unit because the new damage has now compromised the hardware of my laptop (which occurred during under HP custody’s)
I was promised to have a feedback to address the issue, yet I do not have either my laptop or a replacement.
I do not recommend HP to anyone.

Appalling customer service from a multi national
I bought a cheap HP deskjet printer a couple of years ago, opting in for the continuous ink package. This was £1.99 pm for up to 50 pages of printing. After 12 months they stuck it up to £2.99 but I stayed with it. I changed both cartridges 2 months ago, then the printer went offline. I decided eventually to try to fix this only to find the offline error replaced with an Eo error. This relates to a cartridge error. SO, I took them out, cleaned them and followed all the suggested steps to no avail. I could not find a telephone number so ventured on to their live chat. After a few minutes I was connected. I explained the issue. I waited 45 minutes for the assistant to come back by which time I had lost the will to live! So, in annoyance I logged on to Amazon and bought a more expensive deskjet again with the continuous ink system. After paying the assistant finally came back and explained that the issue was with the ink cartridges (I told her that!). I told her that the 60 minute experience I had been though had spoiled things for me and I had bought a new Brother printer. I asked her to send me the obligatory survey to complete but of course I am still waiting for that. It is easy to be critical but my belief is always treat another how you would wish to be treated yourself. I do not think HP staff training tells people to make a connection and not re-visit in in 45 minutes! I suspect she was more than surprised that I was still there when she eventually came back to me. Absolutely zero from 10 HP.....
hp envy 17in laptop
couple of years ago i purchased a 17in envy laptop after about 13 months the lid broke. repair cost £80.to get hinge fixed. not nice for a product that cost £1500.had another that cost the same bought direct from hp noticed that they have now changed the hinge assembly. my grief now is that trying to retrieve sd card after use is virtualy impossible. i also have an expensive hp printer. just to say i will never purchase another hp product
Atrocious company- do not spend you hard earned money with them!
I cannot express great enough what an absolutely atrocious level of customer service I have received from HP Hewlett Packard.
8 months a go I purchased a laptop for one of my team and from then until now I am still left with a broken laptop, it worked for 3 weeks. Even after it has been sent back twice to them to be fixed. I have called their tech support line as they do not have a customer support line or complaints line. Every time with the promise to resolve and escalate my issue. Every time I am left and again I have to repeat calling them up to sort my issue. I have called every week for the past 8 months, they advised my claim had been escalated but they had closed it. I am again still sat waiting with a brand new unusable laptop.
DO NOT purchase anything from HP as when it stops working you will be left out of pocket having paid hundreds of pounds. This company does not care!
Driver not available for printer HP…
Driver not available for printer HP laserjet P1102. If you do not buy their ink for another printer I have they cancel the guarantee.
A crappy company all their printer…
A crappy company all their printer break down after a year.Avoid Hp like the plague
I bought a HP deskjet 2710 printer
I bought a HP deskjet 2710 printer, what an absolute piece of crap! If i try to print more than one page of an email say, it says it will print all on my laptop then the printer will do something like ONLY print the last page! It seems to print at random! The page feed light constantly flashes for no reason! if i press it to try to get it to print other pages it goes berserk & prints loads of pages 1 after the other. HP support is rubbish, i will NEVER touch this company again. Save your money and go with a better company, lets face it, whatever company you go with i guarantee it wont be worse than HP!!
Hp customer service
Told customer support the fan on the laptop is faulty and mentioned the start up screen with the message the fan is faulty. After 50 mins of time wasting with diagnostics that didn't include the fan the assistant told me the fan is fine. Luckily it's a work laptop. I would never be stupid enough to buy a laptop from these cowboys. You shouldn't either
Defective ink cartridge
Had to make a complaint about an ink cartridge which was defective. Originally bought through Amazon but was not opened for more than a month so could not complain to them. HP acknowledged my complaint, gave me a reference and passed it onto the correct department. That’s the last I heard about it despite several reminder emails.
Spectra Laptop
I purchased a new hp Spectra laptop in October 2021.
In December 2023 the touchpad abruptly stopped working. Upon inspection we saw that the backplate was splitting away from the case of the laptop.
I contacted Hewlett Packard as I did not regard two years as an acceptable life for a laptop and I no longer felt safe with a bursting laptop in my home.
I have subsequently learned that the most likely problem is a swollen internal battery which is both a common fault and may lead to the battery splitting or catching fire. Can it possibly be ethical or legal to place such items on the market?
Hewlett Packard have stopped responding to my emails.
