NEVER BUY AN HP PRINTER!
Bought a 2100e printer. Worst printer i have ever had. every other printer in the known universe can just plug and play. this useless thing cost me many hours to set up and tweak and still didn't work. Finally, it met its maker today when I pricked it up and threw it very hard at the ground. A fitting end for a useless piece of ... NEVER buy an HP printer
Can I choose 0 stars
Can I choose 0 stars? agree with all of the bad reviews here, shocking customer service, a faulty expensive laptop that we are still waiting to be collected over a week after informing the company! Nothing but thieves hiding in a giant organization.
Awful Products, Awful Customer Service
Can confirm what a lot are saying here. HP printers are absolute garbage.
Broke after about 9 months with very little use, was still using the original small cartridges that came with it. Phoned their support, who sent a replacement printer. This did not work either straight out the box.
Called them again to get another replacement. They wanted me to call my internet provider as they were blaming them for the new printer not connecting on wireless. Told them this was not happening. Was promised a call back from HP. They did not call back.
Awful products. Awful customer service.
HP UK - never again
My HP Envy lap top, supposedly high end, failed within a year - sound volume dropped so that I am struggling to use it. After diagnostics and repair the issue is worse. I am trying to get a full refund because the laptop and the service have both been awful. How do you complain? Apparently, you are not allowed to. I won't use HP again, ever.
unbelievably atrocious service from Hewlettpackard
If I could give less than 1* I would. Hewlet Packard have altered their softwear to my printer which means I now need an official account to use. PROBLEM IS THEY WILL NOT LET ME SET UP A NEW ACCOUNT FOR A PRIUNTER I HAVE BEEN USING FOR OVER 2 YEARS. CONGRATULATIONS HP! YOU HAVE LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER...BRILLIANT CUSTOMER SERVICE....OR HOW REDUCE YOUR PROFITS!
What an awful company
Numerous complaints on the online forum with same problem. Paid to have technical advice and despite giving my phone number if we were cut off ( which happened after 12 minutes ) no one called back. On a further call to the “technical support” ( in Serbia ! ) the technical officer couldn’t even advise how to get back to factory settings. I asked if there was a manager to speak to, was informed no one more senior could deal with my problem. I’ve spent more on two replacement colour cartridges and technical support than a new printer would cost, which would include two full cartridges…….what a monumental rip off . MY VIEW IS TO AVOID HP PRINTERS AT ALL COST.
Worst customer service ever
Has to be the very worst customer services of any company I have ever come across. Agents clearly given a script to stick to and have absolutely no idea what to do if your complaint isn't on it.
No understanding of British Consumer law, never heard of the Consumer Rights Act 2015
Re Laptop bought 18 May 2020.
Clause 9 Goods to be of Satisfactory Quality
Clause 10 Goods to be fit for purpose
The time period under this Act is six years not as HP Agents insist until your warranty ends!!
Perhaps someone from HP who does understand British Law can contact me before I have to resort to legal action?
Personally, as you can see from my review, avoid this company at all costs. I wish I'd bought ANY other model.
HP smart app not so smart
HP smart app not so smart.Frustratinglky have to sign into HP account whenever you want to scan anything, doesnt ''remember me'' ,and unisntalling and reinstalling the HP smart app doesnt fix this.
HP Pavilion Laptop 3168NGW (2016 model)
I have had this laptop for a little over five years now. I must say, quite a reliable product, and respectable performance for its size and age.
I regularly play Counter Strike: Global Offensive on online multiplayer servers on it (but run it on the lowest settings to reduce lag). It also renders videos at reasonable rates on Sony Vegas Pro 14.
On the other hand, it is not powerful enough to run digital frame interpolation programs (DAIN or RIFE).
As much as I like this product, in hindsight, as the laptop is rarely used anywhere else than in my room, a desktop PC may have been a better investment.
HP UK Store - impossible to contact!
Bought a new Pavillion All-in-One desktop computer. It had a fault which prevented the keyboard and mouse from working. Tried technical support with no joy. Returned the unit and currently waiting for the replacement to be delivered. Over 7 days now since the return was acknowledged. When trying to get to speak to someone on their phone line constant messages about wait times. First 10 minutes, then 7 minutes, then 5 minutes, then 2 minutes...then back to the start all over again....

Why is it necessary to irritatingly waste time signing-in just to use a scanner? Very annoying.
And now HP Smart app is down. How complicated does it need to be to scan and print a document??
HP customer service is non-existent …
We have an HP printer and subscribe to their instant ink programme. Until recently this worked well. We are billed for the number of copies we print and new ink cartridges are sent when we run low. Last month we were billed for a much higher number of pages than we printed. I tried to contact HP customer service only to discover there's only a robotic system for getting help. This just didn't work. The alternative is to phone HP which is not a free call for us. To be overcharged and then to have to incur more costs to try to recoup the money is not acceptable. Very disappointed.
SPECTRE X360 do not purchase
SPECTRE X360 do not purchase, my previous Spectre failed just after 3 years cannot be repaired as no longer in production.
Bought another Spectre £2299.00 opened box looks very cheaply made called in for return and told cannot return as purchased on business.
Customer service very unhelpful.
Never again will I purchase a HP product ever.

Extremely poor ordering system with very little help from on line or in office sales team almost as if they do not want to sell. If after service is as bad as the buying experience then don't bother
Dear Hewlett Packard
Dear Hewlett Packard, I know you will not respond to this review but I really would love to know why my laptop that I purchased from you for over £400 and is just over 2 1/2 years old, is now so slow that I need to log on and wait for 30 minutes before I can even get onto a search engine. I am retired and a light user with full security on my computer and I know there are no corrupt files. I have reverted back to my 10 year old packard bell which loads and is ready to go within 4 minutes. So sadly based on my own experiences I would never purchase one of your products ever again.
HP laptop lasted 18 mths €720
I bought a top of the range HP laptop in July 2020 in Curry's Galway Ireland. I spent €720 and it was a complete waste of money. It broke down 3 weeks ago, at the grand old age of 18 months, out of warranty of course. Do they design their equipment to do that?
I took it back to Curry's and of course they offered to send it away to England if I would pay an upfront fee. So they sent me to a local repair shop, managed by one of their ex-workers. This repair shop, after charging me €65 told me that the problem was the motherboard which would not be worth the cost of replacement.
I took it to another shop for a 2nd opinion. They immediately said: HP are the worst laptop on the market, they would never buy one, and they see my problem 3 or 4 times per week. It turns out that the ROM card gets loose and literally rattles in its casing meaning that the machine goes to bluescreen and needs rebooting. They offered a short term fix to stabilise the ROM. This worked for a while.
In my view this is a design fault that HP have in their laptops, they don't design it out, and they continue to sell their laptops as if they were the best thing ever!
I emailed HP and Curry's, no response from HP. Curry's called me from the repair site in England. They apparently forgot that Ireland is a separate country since they couldn't find my postal code! They gave me the run around until finally stating it wqas out of warranty.
My question is why are HP and Curry's selling such a substandard machine?
I'm really ticked off. One or both of these companies have ripped me off and should offer even a partial refund. HP has made no attempt to talk to me!
Not even worth a star
Not even worth a star. Bought a deskjet 3700 series all in one printer. Worst mistake. Can’t access instant ink, looking at reviews on here I doubt I should, either. Terrible customer service, telephones go through to call centre in Phillipines. Agent couldn’t or wouldn’t speak English. No other customer support available. Online agent is a bot which doesn’t understand the most basic query. Then HP Smartprint app keeps losing my printer, despite it being installed. Crap service, don’t buy from this bunch of charlatans.
HP did address my issue.
HP did address my issue.
A little long winded but sorted in the end.
Greedy unscrupulous company
Greedy unscrupulous company. I purchased a Hp 3760 printer, after printing off only 16 pages of black and white print, the print cartridges were empty. Surely HP can afford to give their customers full print cartridges with every new product. This is penny pinching and miserly behaviour HP, shame on you, greedy people
Violation of my property!
I've owned my HP printer for about 2 years. It has worked flawlessly.
However, even though I own this printer, I now can no longer use it unless I create an account with HP.
HP you cannot force me to do this on my printer, my property! That was not the condition at the time of the sale!
