Have been trying for three days to buy their shoes using the STEAL coupon advertisement. Sent chats to their system and was told it should work. Did not. Tried again this morning and was not told the promo “was over”. But buy at full price to see how I like them. Feeling like this company is a TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH setup. Steer clear!!
Don’t order from Hey Dudes, just buy in a store
So I ordered a pair of Hey Dudes and instantly realized I picked the wrong size but Hey Dudes said there was no way to modify or change the order after it’s received. What? I reached out within minutes. So I would have to return them then re-order. It’s 2025 and they can’t even process a change or modification? Then the courier they use (DHL) is useless and days behind schedule, just to find they go on strike and my order is sent to some other company but I have no name or tracking number. Hey Dudes doesn’t seem to care at all, yet it’s the shipper THEY PICKED. Customer service is lacking and while they’re not rude they’re pretty much useless in my situation. I like the product but I would read the fine print before ordering anything from them. What a joke.
Shipping issues, customer service will lie to you
Ordered 6 items from them. Been now over a month items show shipped, no response from carrier company. Heydude responded 3 times with keep your phone close to you, your order is being delivered soon.
Well days keep going by and shipping update is nonexistent, still stuck in limbo. Not worth the hassle, ordered items to surprise my son (1st time dad) Father's Day gifts. Bought him shoes on Amazon and i should have done originally. Heydude no wonder your review score is so horrendous.

I’m honestly shocked by the level of customer service from HeyDude Shoes. I placed an order two days ago — they took my money instantly, yet the order hasn’t even shipped. I had to chase them for an update myself, only to be told they can’t say when it will be processed. That alone is unacceptable.
Worse still, they refuse to cancel the order — even though it hasn’t shipped and I’ve made it very clear I no longer want it. I’ve explained that I will be returning the parcel unopened, yet they still won’t take the simple, logical step of stopping it now. It’s not just terrible service — it’s wasteful, inflexible, and completely out of touch with modern expectations around sustainability and basic customer care.
So now I’m without the money and without the product, waiting on something I don’t even intend to open. Absolutely ridiculous experience. I won’t be ordering from HeyDude again — and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
False advertising
This review is more about their false advertising and customer service. I continue to see ads about 20% off your first purchase. I tried using this after all their sign up requirements and it still limits you to only certain styles. No where does it say there are exclusions on the ads. When reaching out to customer service, they just blow smoke up your ass. They lost a customer.

I really hate writing bad reviews and I expected so much more from Hey Dude! We own nearly 10 pairs of Hey Dudes between us. My wife purchased new flip flops for me, thinking we would be as happy with them as our shoes. They were purchased in December and in June the between the toes strap broke with normal wear. It had started discoloring earlier but I still wore them. They weren't overly used, especially since they were purchased in the winter.
We reached out to Hey Dude customer service and the response was unacceptable. John Carlo R. basically said we are sorry about your experience and closed the chat.
So apparently Hey Dude is ok with losing loyal customers and getting bad reviews for not standing behind their products. Shame on you, Hey Dude!
Disgusting business practices
Bought 2 pairs of Heydudes on June 2. Total was $86.79. Today on June 9 both pairs of shoes are on sale for 40% off. The difference in paying $19.06. I called Heydudes customer service number to get a price adjustment because that's a large difference, we're not talking a few cents, almost $20. I got quite possibly the worst Customer Service rep I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with. She told me they don't do price adjustments. Fine, I'll return both pairs of shoes because y'all aren't screwing me out of my $19.06, luckily they're the Americana women's and men's shoes id gotten for the 4th, so they're sitting in the original shipping box unopened. She tried to tell me I couldn't return them. Uhm yes, your policy is within 30 days, it's been 1 week. Then she said I could return them when I fought back. I requested to speak with management because I was done with this woman at this point. Yes, I was arguing back, but she raised her voice. Through the entire call I requested management probably around 15 times, she never transferred me. After going back and forth arguing with this woman she tried to give me a $15 refund. I refused, the price difference is $19.06, I'm not taking any less than that. After straight arguing with her for several more minutes she did end up giving me a $21 refund. I don't know where she got the # from, I only wanted the $19.06. Never did speak with management. I will never again buy another pair of Heydudes, and considering hubby and I own probably 5/6 pairs each, plus ever how many our 4 kids own in total, they're losing a very loyal customer. Which is sad for them.

False Advertising of Discounts
I ordered a pair of Hey Dude shoes. There was a 40% discount advertised on the specific shoe. It did not process the discount when ordered. I contacted customer service and was told the discount was not available on that shoe. I sent a screenshot to show the advertised discount on that shoe. I received an answer that said the shoe is not discounted. I asked again and received a garbled answer that did not make any sense. I have asked for the order to be canceled if the discount can not be applied to my purchase. I received no reply to the request to cancel. The company’s customer service is horrible. And they falsely advertise discounts. Terrible company.
Joke of a company
Joke of a company. Their woman's shoes run 1 size too big, the do not offer exchanges and for international returns you need to pay out of pocket $34 (half the cost of the shoe). Call agent states they can honour the price I paid previously for my new purchase, but I get an email stating they can not honour the discount and I need to pay full price. They also told me the specific shoe was "out of stock" however when I went on the website the shoe was clearly not out of stock and was available in all sizes. Save your money, this business is a joke and have horrid principles. Will never be purchasing from this company again.

Website offered a 25% discount which I noticed afterward [10 min later]so now they won't honour it . Also ordered a size 13 shoe which is supposed to fit a 12" foot as per their foot size chart.. My foot is 11.5" and it doesn't fit. I'm asked to pay $30.00 to return shoes. It cost me $15.00 to have it shipped to my home. This is about as poor customer service as it gets. The pair of shoes I received for $70 is worth about $20. Poor construction, very flimsy. This is the worst experience I have had ordering shoes online and I order shoes on a regular basis.

I ordered my HeyDudes on 4 April with the promise of 3–5 working days delivery. It’s now well past that, and after countless phone calls, emails, and empty promises, I still haven’t received a thing.
You claim to “defy expectations” and “embrace the unknown”—well, you’ve certainly delivered on the unknown part. I have no clue where my shoes are, or if I’ll ever get them. Comfort? Confidence? Creativity? Right now, I’m just feeling frustrated and ripped off.
So Hey Dude, how about rallying around your customers and delivering what we paid for? Or do we just keep embracing the ambiguity while our money vanishes into thin air?

These shoes are marginal at best and overpriced. The customer service is the worst I have delt with in years. They don't even box the shoes and mail them in a bag. With many costing over $65, a box is not asking too much.

Love my shoes!!! I purchased 4 pair all in my favorite colors!!! I love wearing heydudes with my black leggings!!! Super comfortable and easy to take care of my last pair are still in good condition and I washed them frequently!! I just wanted some more in my favorite colors!!! My last pair are going on 21/2 years
Unacceptable refund timescales
We own several pairs of Hey Dude Shoes and the product is great however I can’t say the same for the Customer Support. I returned one of the pairs bought as a Christmas gift and I am still waiting for the refund 40 days later???

Ordered a pair of HD shoes online, paid their overly high shipping fees and when I needed to return them (wrong size) the shipping fees doubled and their response was "Oh well that's our policy". I offered to return to a retail outlet. No response. Asked about alternate shipping methods. No response. The return shipping fee was 65% of what I originally paid for the shoes! I'll never order from HD/Crocs again. I recommend you save yourself the hassle as well.

Product is OK and arrived quickly but these clowns have constantly spammed me ever since - trying to sell me more products - despite me repeatedly asking them not to and unsubscribing several times.
I have reported their unethical and unlawful practices to the Information Commissioner's Office.
