Hire A Barman Ireland Reviews 

I recently used Hire a Barman for a house party. The two bar people were fantastic. They arrived on time and were very pleasant and obliging. They made the agreed cocktails as well as any others people requested, they checked to ensure everyone had a drink and they collected bottles and glasses and washed them. Everything to make my life easier so I could enjoy the evening. I would definitely use them again!

Wonderful cocktails, Jose and Oriana were brilliant and all our guests were super impressed BUT I would not put myself through the stress of dealing with these guys again. Given the mixed reviews here, I was trying to contact the company in the run up to my 50th which they were booked for and bar one enquiry I made about glassware, they ghosted me. Reny, whom I first spoke to a couple of months ago told me the two bar people would arrive around 7pm/7.15pm to set up for the party which was kicking off at 8pm. No one called to confirm anything to me, no one responded to my emails looking to confirm everything, their phone rang out all the time and so I had told my guests that the "cocktail" part of my party would most likely not be happening. I honestly thought I had been scammed.

At 7.15pm on the evening of my party I got a call from Jose saying he was enroute from Wexford to Dublin and would be late. He arrived at 8.45pm...had to set up the station etc.
OK, when he got going with the cocktails, they were a huge hit with everyone and Oriana was super helpful with hosting as much as with the bar work. But man, the stress of not knowing if these guys would turn up or not makes this a bad business to deal with.

If cocktails are a total add on to your party...go for it but if they are part of your core party plan, it's not worth the stress imo.

Jose and Oriana were brilliant. The cocktails were super. The business model/operations suck. If the party that Jose had been working at in Wexford had run over any longer,I reckon it would have been a complete no show, no excuses for my party. I think every customer deserves better than that.

Great product. Great bar people. Dreadful way of running a business and so on that basis I cannot recommend these guys. Which is a shame.

Hire a Barman was great to work with. We booked a bartender for a company event a few weeks in advance; the day before the event, they confirmed again and gave me the contact info of the bartender. Day of the event, Finton was early and prepared. He brought everything with him we required. He was great and made excellent cocktails and everyone in the office was delighted by the whole experience. He cleaned up afterwards and left the place sparkling. Overall Hire a Barman was really easy to work with and we'll definitely book them again for future corporate events.

We used hireabarman.ie for a 21st Party on Saturday and from start to finish I found them extremely professional and very helpful as I had so many questions! Jose was the Mixologist, who arrived at exactly 8.00pm and worked so hard getting 150 cocktails out, which were really nice and positively commented on by everyone. Jose was the star of the night showing off his skills which impressed everyone. I would highly recommend hireabarman.ie for any event and would definitely use the service again.

VERY VERY Disappointed

I contacted (Hire A Barman Ireland hireabarman.ie), and DAN from the Events Department, responded to me with all the details etc, I had organised a bartender to come and make cocktails for my guests and they had assigned a guy called ALEX, my party was held on Saturday 1st of July, but all this was organised and deposit paid just over a month before.

I called them on Thursday 29th of June just to double make sure everything was sorted, and the guy on the phone confirmed that ALEX will be there etc.

Come Saturday 1st of July, ALEX did not arrive, no phone call or text message to explain why, it was a complete mess.

I tried calling, and emailing, no answer, I dont even think I will get my refund back for the deposit I paid.

DO NOT USE THESE people: Hireabarman.ie / hireamixologist.ie / cocktails.ie.

I will be looking into this further as I want my deposit back, complete rubbish.

I had these guys booked for my 50th birthday party at home. Everything went amazing, from the initial enquiry to the night. The two bartenders on the night were excellent and looked after my family and guests so well.

Excellent service, I booked 2 waiters for a party in my home. They came early, were extremely pleasant, worked hard serving drinks and food, left having cleaned up as much as possible. Couldn’t recommend them enough, 5 star service

Awful service! Booked them for my sisters hen. They never arrived and didn't let me know until 45 minutes after they were due to arrive they wouldn't be coming. We didn't have another activity planned or drinks in for everyone. Really really disappointing

I was recently at a party and they had hired a barman for cocktails called Michael from this company. The cocktails were the nicest cocktails I have ever had! He was so professional, friendly, and cleaned up everything before leaving. Would highly recommend. Five stars.

I was at a Hen Party recently where Michael came and made cocktails for about 20 girls. It was brilliant. We had three cocktails to choose from and he was so quick at making them. It was great that we could chat and have fun and get a drink easily.

Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. Booked them for a hen at the weekend. Michael was the mixologist & he was super! Cocktails were amazing, so so nice. Ended up paying for him to stay longer and more cocktails. Will definitely be using these guys again!

We had Michael, the mixologist, with us on Saturday evening for my daughters fun filled hen do. This was a first for me as I had never been to a cocktail making class. Michael was brilliant. He arrived promptly and set up for the class before getting the ladies ready to begin. We had so much fun and he was great to be with. He gave a very engaging and fun session which all of the ladies enjoyed suiting the cocktails to individual tastes. When requested he was able to alter cocktails to the spirit of choice.

I would highly recommend him to anyone. We had a broad range of ages from 17 - 62 and each cocktail could also be made a mocktail. It was an amazing experience and everyone loved it with everyone saying they would to do something like this again. Michael is a gem!

We booked a bartender to serve cocktails at our Paddy's Day event in the office, and José was absolutely brilliant – really amiable and he even helped us with the decorating before he started on the cocktails. Super professional and great attention to detail as well. We'll definitely be back in the future.

We recently used this company for a corporate event in our office of 90 people.
We hired 2 bartenders - Michael and Mauricio and the guys were brilliant! We made some lovely cocktails and everyone had a great time.
We had to change timings at the last minute and they were very accomodating which was appreciated. They were very quiet as they set up while we had a meeting and you wouldn't have known they were there. Highly reccommended.

We booked a cocktail class for a hen party through hire a barman. The class was great fun and the cocktails were delicious. I found hire a Barman great to deal with, they always replied quickly to any queries I had before the class. I would definitely recommend a cocktail class with hire a barman.

Had a really great experience for this Cocktail class - our bartender Jay was great. We did this as part of my friends Hen and it was a really great experience

I had booked a mobile cocktail class for a hen party, I had sent multiple emails the week of the event, eventually received a phonecall 2 days before the event and was told all was ok and we were booked for 8pm, however I had booked the event for 1pm, they told me that should be fine and we will ring you later. I received no phonecall. I contacted them multiple times via phone and email with no response to wake up the day of the event to an email stating they had cancelled as they had mixed up the times. Left me totally in the lurch the day of the event and unable to organise and alternative. I wouldn't recommend using them as their not reliable.

Amazing Experience!

We hired Hire a Barman for our Pre Christmas event. It was an amazing experience, they are very well organized.
My first contact was with Dan who suggested the best options for the day.
Our staff were delighted with Hire a Barman service and I have to say that the cocktails were amazing! We hired two Bartenders but they also had another staff to cover the cleaning side and set up, so all ran very smoothly.
We definitely would hire them for future events.

I was in contact with Hireabarman about 3 weeks before our work Christmas party and was scrambling to get something sorted for the event. Hireabarman were amazing and so attentive. Jose was our barman for the night and couldn't recommend him more. We work in a small office based in Dublin 8 and he arrived on-time with an amazing set-up, ready to look after us for the night. What a fantastic experience it was! The bartender was excellent. He arrived 10 mins early which was good and just got on with setting up.
He was friendly and polite and a lot of my guests commented on how good he was.I would highly recommend using this Company
