Also, replies to emails to info@ homadorma sometimes only reply in 24 hours. It sometimes is too long a wait.

I reserved a room for my daughter in North Vancouver since she was accepted in University and was on the waiting list for University residence. Closer to the beginning of school year she was offered a room at the University campus so we had to cancel reservation with Homadorma. My original payment was $1350 which included hefty Sign up fee $370 and Security deposit of $900 and I was offered a refund of $390 only in promotional credit which is due to expire in three months. there is no Contact information on the website so I can discussed it with them. I had to call my Bank to dispute this transaction.

Our student support team consistently responds to customer inquiries within one business day via email. Additionally, our online student chat support is available during regular business hours. We understand that you did not initiate contact with us via email or chat.
It's important to understand the breakdown of your payment. Of the total amount paid, $375 is allocated to Homadorma, $510 goes to the host due to the 13-day notice instead of the contractually required 30 days, and $390 is provided to you as store credit. You have the option to extend the expiry date on the store credit by contacting our student support team.
Lastly, we want to emphasize that all service fees were transparently disclosed to you before your booking. Our intention is to provide clear and comprehensive information regarding our pricing structure.
Should you have any further inquiries or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

To be a user friendly apps
Homadorma is a great platform that helps foreign students to get settled. As well as a big help host to get a good students. I just have a bit of a problem get in their system to update the pictures of my place . I spent a lot of money trying to have an update and better looks of my place so that I can get more students. I wish that this apps to be more user friendly and have a real person to answer calls for some simple queries.

Homadorma is the worst. Do not trust the website.
Homadorma deactivated my account after I left a bad review on trustpilot. I have emailed them exactly one week ago and received no email back whatsoever. When I was new at homadorma, they responded within 2-3 business days. It never takes longer than 1 week. As mentioned previously on my other review to Homadorma, they still have not responded and it has been over a month. Now, I am trying to leave a review for my homestay (which is going really well) but Homadorma is preventing me from doing so. I still have a homestay guarantee with homadorma for 6 months so there was no reason for them to deactivate my account since I paid almost $400 for the homestay guarantee.
