Aditya fixed missing bank information
My bank (Barclay's Bank) didn't send the complete information to Saxo that is needed to make withdrawals. Aditya was extremely helpful to first find out what I needed to do to make withdrawals work, what information was missing, and how to send it to Saxo. Thanks for the help.

Yes. They are very quick to lock your account.
Same as other bad reviews: Saxo Bank will lock your account in a heartbeat.
They send emails from no-reply email addresses, unclear messages on the platform such as "please send relevant documentation".
What exactly is "relevant documentation"?
If you send documentation that doesn't fit what Saxo Bank wants (which is never clear) they send you the exact same message again: "send relevant documentation". No explanation about what they want specifically.
It is a big waste of your time. They fire off bot-like messages and you have to compose actual replies all of which takes time. Of course, they have all the power so what can you do other than give them a bad review here.
Update:
Saxo has replied to my review asking me to 'add' my ID number. It is indicative of their approach that they ask a client to post their ID number on a public website.
And the reply says "I’m here to help, and I encourage you to reach out directly so we can address your concerns swiftly." As if I haven't already spent weeks trying to get the matter resolved by speaking directly to their client support.
On the same date as this review, I sent them a notice of legal action so, if they cared to do a little bit of homework, they will know who I am anyway.
They are very quick to reply to bad reviews with a cut & paste piece of text but very slow to reply to direct complaints about their service. Perhaps the person who is busy monitoring reviews on Trustpilot would be better employed responding to complaints send directly to Saxo Bank.

Can't reset password
I forgot my password. I clicked on the "forgot password" link, I've not received the email to reset my password (I checked my spam).
I looked online and there is no contact email for Saxo customer services.
Do people really trust their money to a company like this?

Issue resolved thanks to Arpit
Call was answered promptly. The service agent, Arpit Ghanhi, was very helpful, called back twice when he said he would after speaking several times with the payments team. He was persistent and resolved my issue, which other agents hadn't been able to do when I called previously.

Functional Platform Undermined by Poor Customer Service
Saxo’s trading platform is decent and fairly priced, offering acceptable access to global markets and a reasonable range of products for a retail investor platform. However, key areas — particularly fixed income — feel a bit underdeveloped and poorly supported.
Where Saxo truly falls short is in customer service. The support system appears intentionally designed to block access to real assistance. The AI chatbot is unable to handle anything beyond basic queries, and attempts to contact a human agent or raise a support ticket lead to an endless, frustrating loop back to the bot. Some situations become genuinely Kafkaesque. Even when a live agent is reached, they often deflect responsibility or refer users back to the same ineffective process.

Avoid! Having difficulty withdrawing fund
Avoid!
Easy to deposit money, hard to withdraw. It’s been more than two weeks since I started to process to set up the withdrawal account, still waiting. Online chat keeps dropping, replying to messages are slow or non responsive. The phone number seems to be unstaffed - every time I called I get “all agents are busy, please wait. You are number one in line…”

Client renewals team could not care less
For anyone who might be in a similar situation as me (account placed on restrictions while client renewals team take their time reviewing personal details) or for those who might find themselves at the receiving end in the future, here is what Google AI recommends on how to deal with it:
“When facing a Kafkaesque situation, one should first acknowledge the absurdity and lack of logic, then try to find a small area of control or understanding, and finally, consider seeking help or support. It's crucial to remember that these situations are designed to be overwhelming, so maintaining some sense of self and seeking clarity is vital”
