Sales and aftersales service
We ordered a cat house with a microchipped cat flap online and it arrived by courier 2 days later. The courier company they used kept us informed of what was going on so we could plan our day. The cat house arrived when they said it would and was of good quality. It was simple to fit the legs on and was immediately good to use. Whilst Maisey enjoyed the house she had put on too many pounds to fit through the flap so we had to return it. The return collection was prompt and without quibble.
I judge a company by both the sale and the aftercare and H&R get full marks for both. If we need to get another cat then we will be using this company again

Really good hutch and fast delivery
Really good hutch and fast delivery. It was missing most of the screws strangely. It only had 8, so was missing about 40 others in larger sizes. Luckily I had some at home so just used those, but I hadn't would have been frustrating have to go buy them, or wait for more to be played out.

Fabulous company and product
I purchased a catio for my 2 kittens from Home and Roost which they absolutely love. The product is fantastic and made to a good standard. Instructions very easy to follow to put the panels together. I was kept upto date throughout from the company and delivery was good. I would highly recommend this company.

Hedgehog house
I bought a hedgehog house, it's well made, I hope it lasts a few years. It looks great. I've not put it in my garden yet as the wildlife area isn't fully completed. It was delivered very quickly.

There was a lot of useful information on the website which helped greatly in my choosing of a hedgehog box which apears tohave been adopted immediately. I am still looking for a suitable site for the batbox! All service was very good delivery would be hard to beat.

Fast, easy and very efficient ordering and delivery service. Dropped one star as edges of product panels were chipped and splintered out of the box. Easily remedied with sandpaper, but should not have been necessary on a new item. Packaging was sufficient to have prevented this in transit, so I can only assume that the item was shipped in this condition.

My delivery didn't arrive as expected…
My delivery didn't arrive as expected and so easy to contact the company and James was amazing in the end sending out another whelping box by next day delivery, which arrived.
I give 5 stars for customer service, but only 4 for the actual product as not that well finished, with some sanding in places needed and did have quite a strong smell from the wood, which meant unable to use straight away (had to borrow a friends). So I suggest ordering one at least 2 weeks before you need it to allow the fumes to go.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and I’m genuinely very sorry for the frustration and distress this situation has caused you.
I’d like to clarify a couple of important points for transparency. Your order was dispatched from our warehouse on time and handed over to APC for delivery. From that point, it is within their network and we rely on their scanning and tracking updates. Unfortunately, in this case, APC have not provided the expected delivery scans, which has led to confusion and delays that we are actively challenging with them.
I’m also very sorry to hear about the experience you had when trying to contact what appeared to be a courier support channel. We would never ask customers for payments, account setups, or any financial transactions in relation to delivery support, and this is not something APC would do either. It is extremely concerning to hear, and we strongly recommend reporting it to Action Fraud if you have not already done so.
We understand how disappointing this entire experience has been, especially after paying for a Saturday delivery, and we are continuing to work directly with APC to resolve the delivery failure and prevent this happening again.
If there is anything further we can do to help you directly, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Product seemed nice but poor quality.
Product seemed nice but putting the 6ft one story hutch together was a pain. The roof was broken and my partner had to mend it together so it could work properly, as the nails to the roof were busted. The doors don't sit perfectly closed so there is an angle/gap at the top. The pilot holes weren't there and screws were in the place where it was meant to connect on the feet part, so he had to move it about to get it to fit properly. Also, the diagram of the instructions didn't show which way to put the panels on, for example if hey sat high at the top or low at the back. Lastly, the doors sit slanted even after fitted. Then the run I bought has access for a tunnel or to have it closed off, and i have to put something at the back so my buns dont escape as you can lightly touch it and it falls off. Its just a bit flimsy too as it keeps bending in from the sides. I just thought for all the money i spent as I got other items besides these two that the structure would of been more put together/heavy duty. A bit disappointed.
