The bag was just the right size which was a relief! I wanted a good back for all my swimming equipment and everything fits in really well!
I like the simple but effective design like the tabs that hook to close the bag and the strong clipper pocket at the front. It will definitely get used a lot and it looks very sturdy.

Terrible courier service
Ordered on 28 Nov 2024. As of 2nd week of Jan (noting this was a xmas present for brother), nothing received. Shipment still hadn’t even left the UK. Disappointing.

Great backpack 4 rough uses
I bought a Smith the Roll 18L more than five years ago, I've used it INTENSIVELY almost every single day, outdoors and in the city, and it is the most resistant backpack I've ever had.
The straps started to get loose by themselves a few years ago, so I sent them a message, I didn't keep my ticket, so they couldn't help me solve the problem. Keep your ticket ! The customer service is kind and efficient and they'll help you.
I feel like you need to get used to the rolling system, but it has helped me in the pick-pocketest of cities.

As regular bike user
As regular bike user, I really like the functional and minimalistic design. The first bag I bought in a shop ages ago.. They don't sell them anymore, so I used Millicans website. It took longer to arrive then expected, so maybe you can make this delivery time frame more visible in the confirmation email of the order.
For the rest everything just fine. Happy with the product.

Great sustainable backpack!
I used my previous Millican backpack intensively for about 5 years, and it was time for a backpack that I can also use for my work. This is where I ended up with Millican again. The Core Roll Pack 20L Ocean has a nice color and a handy layout (although 1 side pocket with a zipper for keys and a phone would have made the bag completely perfect). Hopefully this bag will also last a long time. By the way, I still use the previous Millican bag for outdoor activities, it has some wear, but is still very usable.
