Returned to their plumbing insurance when they offered a very good price. The sign up process was very easy, the level of cover is high and all for a very good price.
Was very easy to contact them when needed as well

I used the phone number and it’s artificial intelligence. I told it I have two toilets leaking and paid the £30 excess. When the plumber turned up he said it was only one toilet and he phoned in and was told it was only one toilet and if I wanted the second sorting I had to phone up again and pay another £30 excess. I said no don’t bother. The plumber did not have a replacement part for the toilet that fitted. He said it was fixed and left. The toilets both still leak just as they did before he came. A total waste of time and I will not be renewing the insurance with home serve a total waste of time and I will now call out a real plumber to fix the dam toilets. You can keep your home serve your a waste of money and time

The Customer Services Advisor I initially dealt with made the process quick and simple in raising the leak. Appointment was booked for 2 weeks later and the Engineer that attended was knowlegable and able to detect the leak and which pipe it was coming from within the first 5 minutes wothout needing to shut the water off. This was a huge difference from the Homeserve Engineer that attended a month prior on behalf of my neighbour that didnt complete any of the checks and couldnt detect the leak and had lack of knowledge (I was present foe this visit). It all depends on the Engineer who attends and in my case, I was very lucky. Work was complete within a few hours after months of my neighbour trying to deal with Homeserve.
