A superb plumber

We had a superb plumber (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) who arrived, diagnosed the problem and immediately set about to rectify it. He took time to check that what he had done had cured the issue. Everything has been working correctly since he left. A very capable, personable young man who was a credit to Homeserve.

Appointment was cancelled TWICE but finally resolved.

Appointment was cancelled TWICE at very short notice but, when the plumber did arrive he was courteous and knowledgeable and quickly resolved the issue.

Hi Engineer was fine but couldnt do anything as he needed access to next door garden but they were out . so just went through my insurance to get it fixed . Also I paid a surcharge for this do I get it back . Thank you

We can see that the engineer carried out work during the visit in an attempt to resolve the issue. As the visit was completed and work was undertaken, the excess applied to the claim would not be eligible for a refund on this occasion

HOMESERVE PLAN

Don't know what to say about homeserve, I'm paying £19 a month haven't used their service since I took the cover and it's been over a year.
Because I see it advertised on media cheap deals for plumbing and electrics .
I rang them to cancel my cover because your showing better deals e.g £1 / £3.50 and I was told i can't cancel the plan and if I do then I have to pay the rest of the years payment upfront and that's March 2027.

We’d like to reassure you that cancellation fees are not applied when someone wishes to cancel with us, cover can be cancelled at anytime.

In reference to promotional offers you may have seen online with us, your current cover is in a new customer promotional period and includes more elements of cover than some of the deals you’ve seen advertised.

All new customers are entitled to receive a new customer promotion currently, however these are applied once per element of cover and wouldn’t be available to set up again for sections that have already benefited from an introductory rate.

They won't repair my boiler

I moved home two years ago, transfered over my new address, boiler goes wrong, boiler faults were not transfered as expected, I now have to pay forcreoair. I will be cancelling my DD today.

We called at 9 pm with assurance…

We called at 9 pm with assurance plumber would attend and 11.30 pm with water still pouring from wc cistern we was
Told no plumber available to attend so i am 80 have emergencyvand rely on family coming to my assistance to help me through the night

John was very helpful and friendly, and undertook a really thorough investigation which led to an ongoing problem finally getting fixed. He also took the time to explain and demonstrate everything to us.
