The engineer was courteous and efficient, thoughtful of my home.
My heating and water on the clock weren't left quite right and I do have difficulty resetting it.
It was a job my husband always did.
I do, however, think the engineer was good.

The repair was carried out but I wasn't happy with the attitude of the plumber. He was annoyed because he said he had been knocking on the door for 10 minutes. I may be old but I have perfectly good hearing, so I refute his comment. I asked for a new tap & he told me he had no problem with that, very kind of him considering I pay the insurance & excess. Please do not send him again.

Response to our call (regarding an external water leak leading to reduced water pressure) was quick, and an engineer visit was booked: the supply is tricky as it enters our property across a neighbouring field, which we don't own. Phil arrived on time and soon detected the source of the leak - a split in an old section of water pipe put in during renovation work in the late 1970s. He fixed the leak, was friendly and communicative throughout, and replaced/re-mortared the two patio slabs that he'd had to remove in order to access the leak point. He was done in less than three hours, which for a fault like this is excellent going - we were only without mains water for about 40 minutes in total. Phil is a great ambassador for HomeServe and gives super customer service!

I received a quick response when I reported the problem...blocked toilet. Engineer quickly discovered the problem and set about clearing the blocked sewage pipe and drain which was apparently caused by tree roots outside my property. He was very reassuring and confident that he would be able to sort out the problem. which he did . Well done
