Beautiful property, facilities are excellent, and right in the heart of saltburn! What else could you ask for? Bumped into the owner and he was attentive and kind :) 10/10 would recommend!!

We loved staying at Salty Place. The house is very spacious and beautifully designed. It is in an excellent location for making the most of what Saltburn has to offer. We would whole heartedly recommend it.

There were a couple of things that would have made it ***** +
1.The recycling rubbish from the previous tenants needed to be removed from the yard. ( We put ours in the bins in the back alley)
2. There is no washing machine and no laundrette in Saltburn. With young children this was a bit difficult
3 We were 5 adults so a spare set of keys would have been very useful.
Having said all that we would still be booking for next year without hesitation. A lovely place to stay!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Great apartment; fully fitted kitchen with a few extra. You get everything you need for a great stay. The bed was especially comfortable, I loved it had such a great sleep. The view from this apartment is great too looking straight out to the beach as it is a beach-front apartment. So close to all shops, amusements and restaurants. What more could you ask for.

Just one downside for me personally as I have mobility problems, this apartment is on the second floor which had about 35 steps to get to it, which was very difficult for me to climb. Therefore only went out once a day. But for my daughter and grandkids it was not a problem. I would still book same place again but would request room one and also there is still 14 steps to that apartment I might just manage that. Still I would recommend this place dispite no lifts in this building. Overall just a great stay. Finally have to say Host & Stay who are the hosts are brilliant, great communications and they constantly keep your updating. Thank you to them we had a super time!

I left my laptop in one of their properties, which was my fault, of course. However, the subsequent customer service caused unnecessary distress and effort. A different person replied each time with similar generic, likely AI-generated responses. I can be patient for a day or two, but not a week.

I was repeatedly told it had not been sent yet and to remain patient. Then, when I finally lost my temper on the phone, I was informed that it had actually been dispatched a couple of days previously.

This is a professional short-term let company that should have proper processes in place for this kind of situation. They should assign a single point of contact to manage a case and be capable of providing accurate information, tracking numbers, and documentary evidence. I was happy to pay extra for any of this, but ultimately, they were so incompetent that they only charged me half of the actual shipping cost.

We brought our grand-daughter to Newbiggin for our annual holiday. After researching, 12 Simonside Terrace seemed a good fit for us. There were not many reviews on the property, but the few I did find were positive. The Host and Stay company were great with their communication and once, when I sent an email whilst on holiday with a query, I received a reply within 5 minutes. The house we stayed in was stunning! This is a house that belongs to someone who has left all their belongings/furniture/kitchen goods and is renting their home out as a holiday let. All the electrical goods were top class and we were so delighted to have the use of a tumble dryer, washing machine, dish washer, air fryer, and microwave. The cupboards were fully stocked with every item a cook requires. The bedrooms are beautiful with luxury beds and top quality bedding. The 3 of us slept so well during our holiday. Every room is decorated tastefully and the walls have the most lovely artwork on them. Cleanliness was of a high standard and we shared a gorgeous bathroom also. We have come home with lots of happy holiday memories and look forward to our return visit.

This was really not a great experience. The property was OK but it wasn't completely cleaned on arrival - there was a little present left in one of the toilets and the little shampoo things had been opened and already used.
There was also a confused panic the day after with multiple calls and texts when they tried to say we hadn't put the keys back in the lock box (we had and it just turned out to be housekeeping and the office staff not on the same page).
However my friend accidentally left his laptop behind and this was certainly not treated with any priority at all. In fact he was fobbed off with AI generated emails from multiple different staff members and, only when we threatened to report it as stolen to the police, did they finally send it back 10 days later!
It's a shame because the property has potential but, in my experience of travelling to 80+ countries and staying in 1000+ places, the management is one of the worst. Avoid!

Great place to stay. The apartment was great with lots of space. The position was ideal for our visit to Redcar races, which was a 10 minute walk away. Round the corner from the apartment was the Main Street with lots of pubs on, fantastic location

Location was great. Properly was great too however can do with a little maintenance.
Sinks and shower drains are blocked causing over flows. Walls have stains and damp that can do with a coat of paint.
Only one undercounter Fridge and freezer for a property that sleeps 12 people that also had broken shelves which resuled in stocking issues.
Over the property was ok.

Absolutely brilliant property was clean and well maintained can't wait to go again

Amazing location , house lovely clean and well maintained , would highly recommend, even though no where to park outside, 5 minute walk to Dreamland car park which you can park for 15 hours for only £10 and just keep extending 😎

House was nice ...however there was only 1 toilet roll for 4 days 1 tea towel and binbag we had to use carriers for our rubbish ...could have done with a full mirror in bedroom... we enjoyed our stay nice quiet street and location not too bad ...

Clear communication. When we reported a broken window latch the team were on the case straight away and fixed on a Saturday 😀. Good text link sent with digital guide to the property. Pleasure to deal with.

Saltburn flat was very central, although on Main Street it was lovely and quiet. Very clean flat and everything we needed for our stay.

Great house and location, Charlie was very responsive

Lovely accommodation and lovely treat hampers which was a lovely personal touch. Even treats for the Pooch.
Straight forward booking and always received emails with updates

We stayed at Tarn Lodge and it was lovely. The communication from the host from start to finish was great and the lodge itself was beautiful. A few small little things but absolutely nothing that affected our stay. Definitely recommend.

The accommodation was easy to book ,communication was excellent l received the right amount of information about the stay .the accommodation was exactly as described .
