Great house with lots of room, comfortable beds and a big TV
A good location in Saltburn with free street parking
We visited with our two grandchildren and they loved the games machine

Fabulous, spacious accommodation in a lovely quiet setting near Bamburgh. We were overwhelmed with the generous hamper of food and essentials left for us by the host. What a treat.

The location is excellent, close to the town, beech, bus stop and great to have a parking space too.
The communal entrance hall and stairs to the apartment are very poor, don't look like they have been cleaned for some time.
The apartment is a good size, ok and for its location relatively quiet.
The dishwasher has a fault and doesn't' work properly.
No curtains or blinds at the kitchen/dinning area.
Sofa and living room chairs not very comfortable.
Some beds were missing mattress and pillow protectors.
Could have done with extra towels and tea towels.

The apartment was fabulous. Spacious and well thought out. I found it very clean and probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed. It is in a nice location with bars and a few places to eat. We walked into the centre and in the evening got the bus there and back. If we went back to Liverpool then I would like to stay here again.

Great apartment, hosts were helpful and responsive. Good location however it’s extremely noisy through the apartments from the next door bar. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed, plenty of towels and linen for our stay, could have done with more pillows.

The air BnB was in the perfect location right in the centre of the town, the apartment was really bright and let in plenty of light, the rooms are all good sizes and the view from the front room and the bedroom is gorgeous looking across fo the Abby and the church. We didn't use the parking as we arrived before we could check in and a lot of streets were closed due to the regatta which we didn't know was on but going out the see the fire works was a bonus!

The entrance is easy to work and get in, it's a bit tired looking and steep spiral stairs up to the top which isn't a problem if your able bodied. Inside the apartment if could do with a really deep clean there was quite a lot of thick dust, the sofa cushions need a clean and on stripping the beds before leaving there was a lot of stains and marks on the mattress protectors...

The shower is really good and powerful in the en-suit, as didn't use the other one.

Plenty of places to eat and drink right on the door step. The seagulls are so loud as soon as the sun comes up and did wake us up but this was to be expected and we managed to go back off to sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

Lodge was so beautiful, clean and spacious. Children loved the hot tub the only problem we had is we were not advised that the oven was broken. So on monday 10th at tea time we couldnt cook our tea and I contacted through the mobile number left (as it was after 5) I rang and text and also sent a message through booking.com. Still as I am writing this I have no response as to why the oven wasnt working and a lot of food went to waste.

Overall a nice apartment and well equipped, nice and clean all round and good views.
If I had to say a negative it would be excessive messages daily whilst staying.

Lovely stay. Great location, a short walk from the shops etc. apartment was lovely and bright. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Excellent communication from our host as well.

We paid £90 towards the cleaning costs, incorporated in the final bill for 12 On the Terrace, Newbiggin. However, the bins smelt awful, like used ash trays, and there was thick dust all around the bedrooms. When I called Host & Stay, they stated they could get housekeeping out! My thought is that, having been charged £90, we shouldn’t expect to have cleaning staff attend during our stay!

Wonderful clean, fully equipped, modern appartment. Initial thoughts too far from centre were unfounded after following the shortcut and cinder track to town. Peaceful setting with views

We had a lovely stay in Saltburn By The Sea, our apartment was clean, well laid out and suited our needs perfectly especially having a washing machine and dishwasher. Location was perfect on the high street with plenty of shops, bars and eateries all within easy reach and the beach just a 5 minute walk away. Parking was not an issue, although on the high street it was easy to park and not at all noisy or disturbing. The booking process was easy and the management company kept in touch with us throughout. If I had to recommend anything to the owners or management company it is to provide more plates (there was only 4) and when cooking and using a dishwasher you need more. Thoroughly recommended.

Positives:
- Reasonable value
- Spacious and well equipped (although lacked a dishwasher)
- Bedrooms were comfortable
- Horses and fields at the bottom of the garden
- Good WiFi
- The location is incredibly quiet
- Good location for walking the southern end of the Cotswold Way
Negatives:
- The shower in the main bathroom needs fixing
- The oven is unreliable - caused the fuses to blow
- The tap in the downstairs WC only runs incredibly fast
- The lights in the living room didn’t work well and were very dim
- Cleaning not very thorough, especially the hob
- Some items from previous occupants were left in the drawers
- The driveway was very tight for 4 cars

Also, the access instructions should be sent at least 24 hours in advance

Beautiful property, facilities are excellent, and right in the heart of saltburn! What else could you ask for? Bumped into the owner and he was attentive and kind :) 10/10 would recommend!!

The apartment was lovely and spacious for us as a family of 5, it was very clean and tidy would definitely stay again and would highly recommend
