I am currently on my fifth house-sit in a small Buckinghamshire village
where I am establishing firm community links while exploring the area.

We've been with HouseSit Match for about a year now and we've had nothing but positive experiences with it. Lamia, the website owner, is personable and communicative. When we started, she went out of her way to give us some great advice (as we were new to it) and ensured we had a great experience with it. She works hard to get a wide range of choices for the website and although we can't always make it abroad, there's been choices from the UK to a variety of places in Europe. A very recommended website.

Housesitmatch has been the answer to our travel plans. Every house-sitter we’ve had has been reliable, friendly and looked after our dog and home as if it were their own.
The company is efficient and professional and makes sure that house-sitters and home owners are completely satisfied with their service.
The website is easy to use but there is always someone to answer your queries if you need help. Lamia, the owner, gives such a personal service to all her clients.

My partner and I recently went housesitting in Budapest, Hungary, via HouseSit Match. This was our first petsitting trip and we chose this option as it is a more affordable way to travel with no accommodation costs.

HouseSit Match was great at connecting us with the homeowners and we were assigned with the first housesit we applied for! The security checks were thorough and very reassuring and we felt confident and safe petsitting this way. The HouseSit was lovely and we loved exploring Budapest, immersing ourselves in the culture. We will definitely be petsitting again soon with HouseSit Match, and definitely recommend this service.

We needed someone to cat-sit for our two cats this summer and after lots of searching, I found housesitmatch.com which was such a relief. No-one came forward so Lamia who owns the company stepped in for us. Our cats were so well looked after I could tell as when we returned they did not walk away and say 'where have you been?' Everything was in order, messages and photos were sent and as one of our cats was not in the best of health, at the time all had gone smoothly with him, as he can be quite a challenge.

Lamia is professional and friendly and the cats seemed to be happy. We had lots of conversations before hand and I know that Lamia has lots of experience in house sitting all over the world and the fact that she happens to live near by was an added bonus. I hope that the cats behaved themselves with her. I would like to thank her for all her trouble and care she took to ensure everything was done as requested.

I joined HouseSit Match as I was going on holiday for 2 months. Lamia and team helped me set up and within a couple of days had my pet/house sitters.
Unfortunately, after only a couple of weeks and me on the other side of the world, due to an illness, the couple had to leave.
Lamia came to the rescue and found me a new sitter that arrived the day before the couple left! All smooth sailing from then till my return.

I have used the site as a house sitter and it is very straightforward and easy to navigate. The admin is very hands-on and helps with any queries that you may have. The platform vets members so you feel quite safe, and provides loads of info on prospective sits. Found a sit in a quiet country area - exactly what I was looking for and host was communicative and flexible.

I have used HousesitMatch several times now and I have to say that I have never experienced such good service as this company offers. Lamia goes above and beyond to help on every single level, from suggesting the wording of adverts to ringing round possible housesitters to find us cover for a last minute holiday and is always available to talk to if I have any questions or problems. I belong to another housit group and I can truly say that their service does not come even close to what HousesitMatch offer. I will have no hesitation in the future in renewing my membership.

I highly recommend becoming a member either as a house sitter or home owner needing a reliable and trustworthy person to care for their pets. Setting up my profile and the request for a cat sitter was really straightforward. My cat sitter was fabulous and even noticed one of the cats was not around and worked out that she had been shut in the garage as I had left. What a relief! She kept me updated by WhatsApp and it was a great peace of mind to know the house and cats were well looked after.

I loved my recent house/cat sit through Housesitmatch.com. The site was very easy to use and the messaging to/from the Pet owner was efficient and we quickly set up a rapport. The Pet-owner had used the guidance provided to leave thorough instructions on the Cats' feeding regimes, their daily behaviours and details on central heating, spare keys etc. So I was completely at home and enjoying the cuddles by the wood-burner with the cats! I can't recommend this network enough!

House Sit Match is a very helpful and reliable service. The people who care fothe animals in their homes are animal lovers, and in our experience they have both cared for our pets well and looked after the house.
Lamia, who founded the organisation, and runs it is very helpful and caring. House sit math's success is due to Lamia.

We have just completed our third house sit via HSM. All have been smooth and trouble free. This time as we were in the area we actually got to meet Lamia who provided us with such a professional and personalised experience.
The site is easy to use and gives great opportunities to visit different places and countries and perhaps stay longer and really get to know an area.
There is a huge amount of trust involved in a house or pet sit , so its reassuring that Lamia is vetting both owners and sitters so carefully, and matching people up as best she can. HSM definitely gives a very friendly and personal service for a company that deals in so many destinations.

This is an excellent and much needed organisation - if you require trustworthy pet lovers to look after your home, and care for the pets. Everyone is fully checked ahead of time, both house sitter and home owner; and informed of the each other's situation and background - so there are no surprises.
Not being particularly computer adept, my only personal difficulty was dealing with the actual website; but they were on hand to guide one through the system!
