As a care agency, I have been searching for an experienced and friendly organisation to support us in managing our sponsorship and ensuring compliance with Home Office requirements. I had previously worked with different people but saw little to no results.
However, since joining IAS and working with Shin, I have begun to see real progress. Shin is highly professional, knowledgeable, and always approachable. She listens attentively, provides expert guidance, and is consistently available whenever support is needed. Her calm and reassuring manner makes even complex situations much easier to navigate.
I am truly impressed with the level of service and commitment Shin provides. I would confidently recommend her and IAS to any organisation looking for reliable and professional sponsorship management support.
Equally, Jannir leadership and professionalism reflect throughout the organisation. He ensures that clients receive consistent, high-quality support and guidance. Together, Shin and Jannir make IAS a truly outstanding team to work with.

A Life-Changing Experience with IAS — Thanks to Anita and Eyram
From the very first moment I reached out to IAS Immigration and Asylum Service, I felt a genuine sense of care, professionalism, and expertise. Navigating immigration matters can be daunting, but IAS turned what felt like an uphill battle into a journey of hope and clarity.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my case workers, Anita and Eyram — two extraordinary individuals whose dedication and compassion truly changed my life. Anita was a pillar of strength throughout the process, always calm, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her attention to detail and unwavering support gave me confidence at every stage.
Eyram brought warmth and precision to every interaction. Her ability to simplify complex legal language and guide me through each requirement was nothing short of remarkable. Together, Anita and Eyram formed a dream team — responsive, empathetic, and relentlessly committed to securing the best possible outcome for me.
Thanks to IAS and these two outstanding professionals, I now have peace of mind and a renewed sense of belonging. If you’re looking for an immigration service that treats you like a human being — not just a case number — IAS is the gold standard. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking expert

Initially, I was extremely pleased with the quality of work and communication I received from IAS. I paid for their services in their entirety up front at the value of a few thousand pounds.
The first visa application I had their help with went smoothly. However, when it came time to switch that visa for another, the services I had already paid for fell to a substandard quality.
I anticipated helpful and prompt communication from my caseworker. However, it became my responsibility to constantly reach out to my caseworker for updates.
Upon reaching out to my customer service representative within IAS, I only received replies that explained my caseworker would be notified. There was never any direct line to my caseworker provided outside of her email until the final week of assistance.
Generally, my caseworker would cold call me to speak over the phone, and rarely notified me ahead of time if she intended to call that day. Anyone who works full time or has other 9-5 responsibilities will understand that this method of cold-calling can be extremely inconvenient and stressful. However, I was so desperate for any communication from IAS that I had to stop whatever I was doing and accept the inconvenience.
Additionally, I was provided with a list of information and documents to provide for the visa application itself. However, the description of what was needed left me with many questions. Again, every question I had took a few days to be replied to. This slowed down the application process. Anyone who has gone through a visa application understands that the time commitment and deadlines associated with the process can create massive stress and insecurity. This was exacerbated by the abysmal communication I received.
When I was hoping to have my application fully submitted by the beginning of June, I only received communication from IAS at the end of June. During this time, I reached out to my customer service representative via email. I received a response explaining she was on holiday with an undetermined return date. I was not directed to any other person for replacement customer service.
When I finally received a cold call from my caseworker - during the middle of a work day with no notice ahead of time - I explained that my travel plans would now be impacted by the delayed visa application. My caseworker informed me that I could rush the application for an additional fee of £500. I felt I had to agree to this due to my travel plans, since the regular wait time would require me to stay in the UK until the visa was approved.
Unfortunately, my caseworker was incorrect and had told me that the rush fee would be £500, but it was an additional £1000. I did not receive an apology for this incorrect information.
If I had received effective communication from IAS I could have avoided this additional £1000 fee by submitting the application with plenty of time ahead of my travel. Again, anyone who has gone through an immigration process understands that the cost of the visa itself as well as legal representation is equal to thousands of pounds. It was due to the poor communication I received from IAS that I had to add that additional fee of £1000 to an already expensive process. I would have preferred to have changed legal representation to another firm, but as I had paid in advance, I felt stuck with IAS.
IAS never apologised for their poor communication, lazy customer service, or the additional fee that their slow and uninterested behaviour incurred for me. On the day I was paying these fees, I struggled over a period of two hours receive communication from my caseworker.
Based on this, I would encourage people to look elsewhere for immigration specialists who may express greater empathy towards those they are working with.

I had a 45 minute consultation which costed me around £175 and was asked to pay £900 to get the application started (and another £900 later). I paid the £900 and then decided a few days later I didn't want to continue.
They had not done anything with the application yet as I hadn't sent them any information for it yet. I emailed numerous times for a refund or partial refund and all emails were ignored. What a con.
I basically paid over £1000 for a 45 minute consultation and then had my emails ignored.

What a waste of time and a bunch of charlatans. Not only did this firm ignore my questions but they then pigeon-holed me into an advice session which would cost 150 GBP. These guys are not worth even the one star - I have seen better organised chaos. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

IAS meets its service promises and provides helpful representatives to see you through the process of meeting your objectives. The objective in my case was to obtain a UK Passport, and IAS enabled me to achieve this objective. Special thanks go out to my assigned representative, Ibtizam Omotoso, who was kind, patient and unflappable!

Hello,
I have made a bad experience with the IAS of UK. First, I would like to mention that IAS has already replied and made claims which I can't answer to, other than editing my own review, so here we go:
1. No justification for recording calls that I've payed for, no consent ever asked for and not even mentioned in the reply.
2. Lied about the fact to have sent me a summary. I have received all messages in the past by IAS, and this claim is an utter lie.
3. I'll leave IAS with the rest of the claims and I'll stay with mine. I payed to be recorded without consent, then after short questioning with the data that was already summerised from the start, confronted with the answer, that I have no case with the information I have giving. No suggestions or solution how I could provide more information or anything else. Thanks for nothing. Your reply is weak and not truthful.
So, here is my old review:
First up, I've been looking into many ways of trying to figure out a way to have certainty in the matter of my heritage, and if I am a British citizen or if I at least have the possibility to become a British citizen, because of my British parent.
The easy answer should have been "no" - as it seems - and other than I was told from the beginning, calling IAS, there is apparently no hope for me to become a British citizen.
So, to start off, I've contacted IAS after a lot of research and many frustrating calls, researches etc, that gave me little hope.
For clarity, I contacted IAS, because of their good reviews on the 21.08.2025, and had a polite, but monotone sounding case worker who I asked about my situation, asking certain questions repeatedly, the exact same way, which made me curious if I was talking to an AI.
He said, in my case, shall be a little more challenging, but should be manageable. So my data was taken down, so the easy info could have been a yes or a no for the experts...
So, the following days, I shall be contacted by one of the expert solicitors, after I pay 100,00 £.
This is what I did.
I was called on the 02.09.2025 and the connection seemed bad, I could hardly hear the voice on the other end.
So I asked, if we could do the phone call via Whatsapp or Signal, and the apparent solicitor told me, it wouldn't be possible, since the call is recorded. This was news to me, and I never had agreed ort been asked, if I do agree to being recorded.
The whole time I felt like I was speaking to an AI, since the voice, again, was monotone and the answers came back seconds later, without any emotions.
After a few minutes, I was told that it seems, with the information that I had provided, I don't have a case. No solution how I could have a case or if I had to provide any other information.
When I asked if I was speaking to an AI, the answer, "No, you are speaking to a solicitor"... Made me even more sure of it.
This stunned me, since I was given a lot of hope during the first call, and felt pressured during the other calls, to make a payment ASAP, so that the chances are faster and better.
Now I have the feeling, all the data that I provided of myself would have been enough for the experts to tell me right from the start that it's not worth trying, and that it only was done so that they could have me pay the 100 £.
That is extremely unprofessional.
Then, the fact that I'm certain, that I spoke to an AI both times.
If this is answered, I will also provide why I think so, furthermore, after I was notified about the fact that I was being recorded, which I had not agreed to at anytime. Especially after I had payed the money, I don't know how this can be legit. So I started recording the phone call from then on, too.
In my case, I definitely feel that the only sovereign thing to do, is to give me a refund. It is a complete red flag recording phone calls or conversations without consent (In the answer of my review, there obviously no answer towards referring to complaint made about recording my calls, since I've never been asked.)
At the end of the call, I was promised to get a sum of the info and reasoning of the conversation via email. I haven't received one.
All the other things above, too.
I'm highly disappointed and wouldn't even give a star for this.
I've never written a review before, but in this case, I felt it'd be necessary, since I want to keep other people from doing the same mistake!

Applying for immigration can feel overwhelming, but IAS made it simple. From Canada, I was able to connect with their team and get detailed, accurate advice every step of the way. They were quick to respond to questions and always patient. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Deepak was a great help with a partner visa application, guiding us through the application. The best part was his genuine happiness for us as he broke the news that our visa was accepted which meant so much to us and will not be forgotten.

I relied on IAS services to get a better understanding of the Skilled Worker Visa application and I was helped by Shazia Ershad through a one hour consultation. Shazia has been incredbily helpful, detailing all the steps & requirements and addressing all my concerns one by one. She absolutely understood my anxiety in this whole process and calmy provided suggestions for the next steps. She added a presonal and conforting tone to the conversation, which I greatly appreciated. I am taking one star out of the review because the communication and feedback came through quite slow.
I had intended to carry on and have IAS help me through the whole visa application, but I have had no answer back from the team even after following up by phone and e-mail. I don't believe this reflects the rates that I was asked.

I had an amazing experience with Alev from start to finish. She reassured me through my doubts, answered all my questions, and was available at almost any time (even off hours on the day I was submitting my application and had last-minute questions). She was professional, knew how to manage my personal circumstances with understanding and was extremely friendly - I could not imagine a better experience. I ended up submitting the final draft of my application with confidence - and got my visa approved within 5 weeks of submitting. Thank you!

I chose immigration advice service because I was pretty sure that my question is very simple and all I need is only 5 to 10 minutes to answer my question, the 20 minutes free consultation wasn’t applicable for me at all as I received a call from non specialized person despite explaining my question in the request form , who asked me few questions , then asked me to pay £100 to get an answer , unfortunately I paid the money then next day I received a call which doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to answer my question !!
Conclusion: there’s no 20 minutes free consultation through this service, you will need to pay !

Alev was amazing in every way. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and kind, and very prompt to answer my many questions. I really appreciated how she would set up video meetings with me, and walked through my application with me step by step. Because of this process, I sent a copy of all of my official documentation (passport, birth certificate, etc.) - that could have been scary to send to a person whom I had never met, but I never felt uneasy sending it to Alev, as she was clearly extremely organized and paid great attention to details. The great news is that my citizenship was approved, and Alev knew exactly what to fill out. I honestly could not have done it without her (there are a lot of steps I just wouldn't know how to do). She and her firm have my highest possible recommendation and endorsement.

The conversations felt human, rather than someone reading a page to me, and they understood the troubles faced by people in my shoes. They have shared the experiences and were extremely kind. Great information! They pointed me to the right direction when I was unaware of my choices, and are often available when solicitors may not be, which makes them an amazing place to start; in comparison to many citizens advice lines. Megan(sorry if I butchered your name) was the person I spoke with today and she was absolutely awesome and didn't have me on hold long at all. Great service, great people, and great relief if you are unsure or don't have a lot of money to pay for a solicitor.

I was successful with my application.
Thank you very much Han.
