Even though I had a couple technical difficulties I rate 5/5. They were responsive, solved the problem, and even followed up to make sure I was good to go. Good customer service is hard to find. Will definitely use for additional CEs

If you are looking for a career to pivot into and you have had experience in real estate, this is the training you are looking for. I was initially hesitant, but Jason was available to answer any questions i had. The program is self paced and easy to follow. You have an experienced inspector for the 5 home inspections thats very knowledgeable. I had Rick, he explained the process and answered questions in-depth. I would definitely recommend this course to others

I searched for a home inspection training course on line and found ICA among other training courses. When I compared them, they all basically were the same. What I liked about ICA was that you paid a one time fee and you could refer to their training courses and other related items for life. Other company’s, you would have to pay a monthly fee if you wanted to stay a member.

The course I went through to get my certification was pretty detailed and it went by pretty smoothly once you dedicated some time to the course. I haven’t gone through other courses offered by other company’s on line, so I can’t compare them to ICA’s course.

What I like about ICA is that whenever I asked questions via email, they responded to all my questions by the next day which was very helpful.

If you are on the side lines and are undecided whether you should go with ICA or not the only think I can tell you is that do your own research and you would more than likely do as I did. If money is an issue, they offer a plan where you can pay your tuition fee by monthly installments. If time is an issue, they got you covered there too. You can take as long as you want to complete their courses. I wish you the best in your new endeavors. Thank you ICA.

I am about half way into the course and so far it’s been great , l am getting a lot of information I’n the home inspection business . ICA makes the course very easy to get thru and understand witch is great, and can’t wait to finish the course .

I found the method of teaching through videos with a narrator very easy to understand. I have some trade experience but even the stuff that was new to me was explained in a way I could understand and retell to a client. There are a ton of extra modules you can do after the main course cert. I plan to study them all. Would recommend ICA for sure.

The thing that makes it great for me, is the fact I knew alot of this stuff being taught,but I've learned so much more then I ever thought I would,

It’s good program I find it to complete and correct some terminology do vary because of different localities but is explained well ie bird block and beam block in Colorado we just call them roll blocks I like that I call and get a human being if I have a questions

Steve was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the slides thoroughly and gave real experiences as examples that put it all into perspective. I highly recommend this course!!

I'm having a great time learning the ropes of being a home inspector!!! The modules are not too long... it is well explained audio form... so it's not simply a reading type course... it's as if I'm right next to the inspector during his/her round!!! It's specific and detailed ... exactly what to look for during your future inspections... step by step... to get yourself into a routine so you don't miss anything and learning how to write your reports with the appropriate wording!!! Enjoying every bit of it! Thanks :-)

The in person 40 hour portion of the class was great. Rob was an amazing instructor full of experience and insights. I really enjoyed and benefited from the class.

I would highly suggest going with ICA for your home inspection training needs. The course material is so easy to navigate and is set up very well. Very professional staff makes it easy to enroll and get you going. I recently completed my in the field training with Jeff L. with At Home Inspections. This was a very fun class and so beneficial, I was very impressed. Jeff was very knowledgeable and very experienced couldn't have asked for a better teacher. The knowledge I gained from him will help me tremendously through out my career. I suggest if your having trouble choosing the right school, don't look any further go with ICA!!

Ease of use, convenience and affordability.

I am very glad that I decided to complete my training through ICA school. The course material was presented in a very effective way and the in-person class far exceeded my expectations. I had the pleasure of being Jeff L.'s student for the in-person class, and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Jeff did a phenomenal job ensuring that we are well prepared to apply our education from the course into real-world situations. It is very clear that Jeff is an knowledgeable teacher and is very passionate about his student's success. I would highly recommend this course to anyone that is interested in becoming a home inspector.

Floyd and Sandra Gibbs with ICA were the perfect teachers for me. Floyd taught to my strengths and my weaknesses. I had all the information I needed to pass my exam and I feel prepared to step into my new career. This can be a lonely career, but with Floyd and Sandra, I know I have a family!

I recently completed the ICA 4 day Home Inspector class in Virginia. As someone with zero background in construction or the trades, I found the class was a perfect fit and pace for my knowledge level. An enormous amount of credit goes to the instructor, Steve Sheldon, who explained each concept thoroughly and went far above and beyond just reciting the course material. He was patient with questions and was focused on conveying the material in a way that was tailored to giving the students a leg up on the NHIE. In addition to the technical aspects of home inspection, Steve also provided invaluable insights into the business end of running a successful home inspection business. I would highly recommend ICA’s course to anyone of any experience level, and hopefully your instructor can give you as good of a start in this business as Steve Sheldon did for me.
