Have always been super helpful
Have always been super helpful and their fibre speeds are great also!
Installation went fine
Installation went fine, but shame IDnet didn't warn me that they had been unable to automatically close the previous provider's account, so I still have another month of 'out of contract' line rental to pay.
I have been an IDnet customer since…
I have been an IDnet customer since first getting ADSL. Currently on my partner's broadband, but still buy email and storage from IDnet, as they have _never_ failed to fix or properly advise on a problem in all that time.
Consistent Service
Throughout the last year, and indeed in earlier years, the service has been both consistent and reliable.
So far everything has been great
So far I have not had any issues with my broadband service. Whenever I have contacted customer services with questions about renewal and available packages the response has always been quick, friendly and the information given has been easy to understand.
Great provider
Been with IDNet a few years now. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Customer service has always been great on very rare occasions I've needed them.
Great experience overall
The install was fantastic, and (so far) the service has been rock solid, and it is run by highly competent people who know what they are doing - 1.2gbps up and down is fantastic as previously I only had 50mbps. Great experience

I'm a very low user and the pricing is good value that doesn't go up like many other providers. Consistent stable connection. Fibre 55 Meg as I'm not driven by higher speeds.
ID Net is always reliable
ID Net is always reliable. They are consistent and clear, a pleasure to work with. We've had few if any problems with the system/
IDNET has been generally good with great customer service.
I was with IDNET for several years, it was a good service and the customer service was always excellent. The last couple of months the service became slow at times and I suspected the router I had could have been better. So I switched to Zen, which have been good, and the router is included. I now get nearly 80Mbits, whereas IDNET lately at times went down to 1Mbit or less, with a maximum of 30Mbits at best. I did call for help and they gave me advice, which ultimately didn't improve matters, however I am pretty sure they would have sorted it out if I had called them again. They are helpful.
Exceptional service from IDNET from day…
Exceptional service from IDNET from day one. I have been using IDNET from when I used to work in IT, and have been using IDNET’s internet service at home for a long time. Price is very reasonable for the quality and speeds (FTTP). Highly recommend going with independent companies like IDNET for more personalised service and support when needed
Best Internet for Gaming and Remote Access.
Loving having a symmetrical connection, and the latency and speed have been incredible.
IDnet are real people not robots!
There always seems to be someone at the end of a phone line or on email to answer any questions from people who didn't do IT at school in a helpful and constructive manner.
Superb Company, Top CS!
I have been an IDNet customer for so long, I can't remember. Definitely more than 15 years. What makes them stand out IMO is their Customer Service and pure reliability. I have in all that time had a few outages, this is nothing unusual in the world of telephony but I can guarantee that if I pick the phone up, my call will be answered immediately or if I send an email it will be answered immediately. If it is a problem that IDNet can sort out themselves without involving BT Wholesale, they will action it immediately. This was not my experience with previous broadband companies so I will remain a customer of IDNet indefinitely. I don't even look at prices elsewhere, I don't know if I could get cheaper elsewhere nor do I care. I wish other organisations, not just broadband companies, would take a leaf out their book....
I signed up with IDNet for full fibre…
I signed up with IDNet for full fibre after being told it was available. I paid upfront, received confirmation, and was even given expected go-live dates. Those dates came and went with no service and no communication.
You’re left completely in the dark with no updates and no clear timeline for when (or if) your full fibre will actually go live.
I emailed IDNet simply asking when my full fibre would be installed and explained that I might have to cancel if it wasn’t completed within a reasonable timeframe. Instead of providing information or reassurance, they immediately cancelled my order.
Is this really all it takes to upset IDNet? If raising a reasonable concern results in an instant cancellation, that says a lot about how they treat customers.
Based on my experience, IDNet is one of the worst providers to deal with for full fibre. Poor communication, missed deadlines, and zero tolerance for customers asking valid questions. I would not recommend them.

Hearing a human voice and explanation of services required.
Hearing a human voice at the end of the phone when making initial enquiries for continuing with IDNet broadband prior to and following a house move. Excellent impartial advice and support.
They're OK
They're OK ~ but they, like all sub-millennial outfits, need to think much more carefully about what and how they communicate with actual people. Also : I'll admit I've not done market research (since being 'recommended' by my old supplier to switch to them, on his retirment) but the prices have only gone one way. The switch-off of 'traditional' telephone lines is of particular CONCERN to me as a pensioner. We already know the 'ead long rush to all things digital is surveillance / exclusion crap.
