The team were so helpful in the switchover.

All of the issues were down to me, but they provided patient and careful support to ensure I got up and running.

I've been a customer since 2017, and in those 8 years, I think I've only needed to contact IDNet twice regarding connection issues...TWICE. The service has been, and still is as guaranteed as turning on a tap in your home and water appears. I'm now on FTTP and experiencing speeds I never knew were possible where I live, but this comes with my reasoning for 1 point off this time.

Over the course of a few weeks I notice that I 'lose' speed, up to 50% (ironically it's still 5 times faster than I had before FTTP) but it's not what I'm paying for. I will caveat this by also adding my router could be at fault as when I reboot it, the connection speed normally recovers. Slightly inconvenient, so 4/5

Only ever had to ring the helpline once - my fault but they were superb.

No issues setting up service. Did have to make a call to their support, but they were able to look up my router and advise me on getting connected. It's been months, and the connection has been solid.

The best feature of iDNET is its team of helpers who will respond to telephone queries within one minute normally. Just as important, the broadband service is competitive in speed also consistent and dependable. These are the main reasons I have stayed with it for 15 years.
I believe it has taken on VoIP services relatively recently and that included me. After some teething troubles my VoIP service works well. Though even now my old analogue phone with a bell does not ring . I have had to add a ringer to the circuit. This seems a common problem across all providers.

Reliable service; good communications; clear guidance.

Not a bad company as such but ... firstly they messed up the transfer from the previous provider by attempting to cancel the wrong account (although this was rectified quickly ) .... and secondly, there is very little in the way of guidance provided on how to set things up. It's fine if you are already an expert in this area but they need to realise that many people aren't.

The internet works well usually but phonecan struggle as phone signal is not good in parts of Olney

Great customer service. Had a few disruptions but that was due to bad weather but overall I am happy with the service. My son’s both game and I steam tv from Netflix, nowtv, Apple TV etc and we never get any lagging issues.
