My experience so far has been nothing but astounding. Truly appreciated the customer service rep, Jenny who helped me. We spoke in chat and I was really quite blunt with her about my expectations. I NEEDED to fax something on behalf of my father for his medical records and everything he has going on. So the timing was pressing and she ensured my issue was just related to sign out/back in which is exactly what was going on. Once I was signed back in I was off to the races and getting those medical records sent off for him. This whole account has been super duper easy to setup and move on with as I needed something that wouldn't over charge for using them for a couple days for my father. Now that I know this is a viable option going forward... I will be able to communicate on his behalf a bit more productively. Maybe he and I can even get some of his documents signed over to me finally. Been working on trying to get this stuff signed for ages in fact.

The service is easy to use but what really stands out about iFax: they have gone above and beyond with adjusting/adding/changing things to fit ourt needs. And it happens relatively fast! We have only been using them for a little over one year and we have not looked back! I would also like to point out, although i have personally used other online fax companies, my company I am with has not. So iFax has made the best first impression with their excellency.

DON'T TRUST THE FREE TRIAL! IT'S A SCAM! I CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT AND IFAX TRIED TO CHARGE ME $299 LAST YEAR WHICH I DISPUTED WITH MY CC COMPANY, AND TOLD IFAX TO CONFIRM MY ACCOUNT WAS CANCELLED!

THEN THIS YEAR THEY CHARGED ME ANOTHER $299 AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REFUSING TO REFUND ME, CITING A MADE UP CONVERSATION I HAD WITH A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT WHO I HAVE NO RECORD OF CORRESPONDENCE WITH.

I REPORTED TO BBB AND WILL BE DISPUTING WITH MY CC CARD COMPANY AGAIN.

IT'S RIDICULOUS! WHY CAN'T THE COMPANY REFUND ME? $299 FOR SENDING 1 FAX OVER 1 YEAR AGO?! COME ON!!! IT DOESN'T COST THE COMPANY ANYTHING. THIS IS WHY I HAVE NO FAITH IN CORPORATIONS OR HUMANITY ANYMORE.

This is such an easy app to use. Like the quick feedback when it is sent and notification once it's been received. No guesswork or waiting for a confirmation page to print. Highly recommend it!

This is the best fax services i have used. iFax makes faxing impotant and time sensitive documents user friendly and easy-to-use from your home computer. I haven't use all of the features available but what I have used have been very impressive.

Be Cautious—It's a Money Grab!
I signed up for a free trial that I couldn’t access or use from the start but was charged for a one-year membership without my authorization just two days later. After registering for free trial, the site remained unresponsive, showing a constant "page is loading" message, which prevented me from accessing, using, or even canceling the free trial service. When I looked for a cancellation option online, none was available. Despite reaching out to support multiple times to request a refund for the unauthorized one-year charge, getting any assistance has been extremely difficult—even though I never used the service. I would advise others to exercise caution; this experience felt like nothing more than a money grab.

The customer service staff at iFax are attentive, courteous, and efficient. I trust iFax with this very important part of my business communications.

I went to ifax to fax my voter ballot for me and my wife. I'm retired and on social security. Somehow, and I don't know how, They charged my bank account for $199.99. I contacted them about the two free faxes and to cancel any affiliation with this company and was told it was past three days and they couldn't refund my money, I'm not a real computor savey and don't have much money.

While the iFax app itself is quite good, I have had a very frustrating experience with their subscription practices. They charge monthly fees without clear warnings about automatic renewals. When I reached out to request a refund, I was informed that their policies do not allow refunds, even though I was only in the second month of my subscription.
Here is the response I received from their support team:

Thanks for reaching out! I’m Trey and I work on the Support Team here at iFax.
We understand you are requesting a refund. Upon review of your account, it appears you’re already on your 2nd month of your subscription. Unfortunately, based on our Refund Policy outlined in our Terms of Use, we are unable to process refunds at this stage:
6.14 To the furthest extent under the law all payments for the iFax services are final and non-refundable. Subscription is paid in advance of each subscription period. No refund will be provided for discontinuation of the use of the Service prior to the expiry of the active subscription period.

This is a great app. There are plenty of these to choose from and I’ve tried a different one but keep coming back to this app. It works! Highly recommend.

I tried to use the "free" fax service. I clicked the button for a send a fax for free. It asked for my credit card number and then was going to charge $99.00 per year. This is a scam. Why is their rating so high?

If I could give a worse rating I would. This company is a scam. I opened an account to send a fax. The fax went through and I immediately emailed them to close the account. The rep who emailed back assured me the account was closed and I didn't have to do anything else. I then got a charge for a full year of service (2 days later). I emailed support again who told me I wouldn't receive a refund since I was outside the 3 day trial, even though I had attempted to cancel the service the same day I signed up and had been assured I wouldn't be charged. When I showed them the email that said my account had been closed, they said they would get back to me with the refund team. Now I am getting no response. Time to go to the BBB

Advertise on their website "Yes, iFax offers a totally free fax app. Our app is not only free for life, but it also requires no installation or additional setup. There is no trial period or limited-time access."

ALL LIES, it is not free. when you actually download the app, it won't let you get past unless you give them your credit card info, even if you wanted to use the free trial for 7 days. and their rate of $24.99 a month is when you pay for whole year in advance. so you will be charged over $150. How can they bluntly lie about all this?? Free means FREE, why do you need my credit card number????

I would give zero stars if I could, but I will go with 1 star since I think my fax ultimately did go through. Very, very scammy business model. I send faxes so infrequently I do not need a monthly subscription. I tried to use the free fax option, which is really only a free trial you can use after you enter your credit card information. There is supposedly a fax as you go pay-per-page option, but I never found it. Every attempt sent me to the page to sign up for a subscription. Chatting with help was NO help, told me I had 'created an account' which I could only cancel by email to customer service. I would very happily pay by page on those rare times I need to fax, but I won't use iFax to do it.

Easy to use, intuitive app!

Did change from eFax to iFax (web.fax.xyz). They charged $99,99 to my credit card after trial ended as agreed. At that point I had faxed one fax and it went ok. Couple days later I want to fax another one only to find that my account is "suspended" and I cannot fax. Clicked fix button and they want to cahrge again, but even if I am willing to do that the app does not take my payment. Gives me a failure code and asks to contact customer service, which is only able via email/wepage. Tried numerous times during the past 4 days, no response, no resolution. Their service truly is bad. Buyer beware! Not sure how I can fix this or get my money back.

It was easy to set up and use the service offered. I loved the confirmation communication notices. Great personalized communication with company staff.

Do not be fooled by the continuous assertions of the ability to send free faxes with this app. After an abundance of assurances on the site that I could send a free fax, I uploaded a confidential document. When I tried to send, all I got was the window to enter my payment information. So tired of these scams.

Great features such as HIPAA privacy when sending fax, convenience, and hassle-free. You can actually send faxes on the go and receive guaranteed results - and 100% better than traditional fax machine. The App is super cute - you will love it. I gave it only 4 stars due to the lack of variety of purchase plans. Hopefully the developers with fix this soon.
