I bought prepaid SIM card for one month, verify it with the seller for the travelling in Italy , leave the country . Suddenly I found that the iliad continues charge me 7.99 euro each month. All contracts & site in Italian . Cannot find the option to cancel this subscription in illiad site .Unbelievable !!!
Why behavior like criminals & steel money from the tourist !!!

I bought a 30 day temporary visitor sim card in Rome and used it successfully. BEWARE. Now I am receiving monthly recurring charges. I was not told of an automatic renew even when you leave Italy. Do Not buy their service. Inexpensive getting in but they are scamming so you can't get out or contact anyone in customer service.
Imbarazzante
Purtroppo dove vivo io è imbarazzante ,velocità in 5g ,ho 6-7 mbps in download e 1 in upload, incredibile ma vero e vivo in periferia di Bergamo non nella giungla ,cambio immediato
Guaranteed bad tourist service
Went there to buy a simple tourist sim for 3 days as in Italy there's no such thing.
Before buying of course, I explained the worker there about 100 times ( because none of them spoke well english ) that I want to pay for only for one month, not more. Yet I find myself today being charged each month away from Italy with no simple solution to cancel this or get a withdrawal. Also their website doesn't even have an english version.
Bough 4 Sim cards in italy
Bough 4 Sim cards in italy, but online registration didn't work. Next day went to service center and was told that there is a system problem and I should come tomorrow!! System problem for 3 days????
Hidden charges from Iliad, be aware
I have a prepaid SIM which I use very rarely so the pay as you go options sounded the most appropriate. Sadly, when I went to add 10 euros to my SIM, I did't realize that I left the tick mark automatically renew flagged, and thus was getting charge 10 euros/month for a year! No information on the iliad page, in the payment history no references to these charges. Be carfefull as Iliad hides very well charges
Slow assistance in case of bugs
The Iliad Wi-Fi was working quite fine, until the day we started having problems with the fiber. After several calls to the client service we were told that the technician will be able to pass by and (hopefully) fix the problem only in 3 days. Considering that in our case good Wi-Fi is constantly needed for work, it is a negative experience.

Iliad
These are the biggest fraudsters I have ever met in my life! You should go around as much as possible! I came to the office as a tourist and told the employee in English that I needed a tourist sim card with internet for 30 days. She told me that it was OK and to give her my passport and clicked everything that was needed on a machine similar to an ATM. She then gave me some papers which I signed. Then she asked for my bank card and took off the agreed amount of €20. My trip lasted about 20 days and after 20 days I return home to my country and stop using the ILIAD sim card. After a month from the day of purchase, they again deduct (steal) 10€ from my bank card, after a month they steal it again... I call my bank to stop them, they tell me that they can't do that if I signed the subscription. When a friend who lives in Italy called ILIAD and asked what was going on, they told her that I had signed a subscription until further notice (infinitely) and that I personally (no one else can) come to the branch to stop the subscription, i.e. about 1500 km to stop their fraud - theft! I have traveled half the world from Central America, Europe, Africa to the Far East, but I have never met bigger scammers - thieves! ILIAD SHAME ON YOU!!!

ILIAD SRAM VAS BILO !!!
Iliad unresponsive to dispute notices from credit card.
I wrote about Iliad´s unauthorized charges to my credit card-Barclays and the latter informed me they filed my disputes with Iliad 30 days ago and Iliad has not responded. I was told that if Iliad does not respond in the next 15 days, the dispute will be resolved in my favor. While at it, Iliad again made an unauthorized charge (the third) and I again reported it to Barclays. Notice to all: Do not do business with Iliad if you do not want a similar harrowing experience.

Iliad scammed me €40
Iliad scammed me €40. So, basically, iliad wasted my time, robbed my money and does not have a customer service AT ALL!
I registered for the Fiber Internet, paid the installment fee of €39.99. The technician came twice but could not figure out how to run the cables.
On the third, fourth, fifth appointment, the technician never show up. Mind everyone that I kept calling the customer service many times, the answers were : “it is the open fiber fault, we cannot do anything, please set up another appointment in a week”. In total, I wasted 5 weeks waiting for iliad to install the internet, I gave up and went with another provider.
Coming to the journey of asking for refund, I called the contact center, they made a complaint request on my behalf, iliad refused because it has passed 14 days ???? I called the second time, only to file another complaint and get refused again. What is the point of the call center anyway as they are not able to solve anything?
liars.
liars.
I asked for one month only!! in their airport branch!
and got a monthly renewing plan instead.
their call center agent checked and replied by mail:
"we inform you that your request cannot be
accepted as the conditions for making a refund have not been met."
DO NOT USE
They are awful. They tell you its a 1 month contract and then steal your money and won’t allow you to cancel.
DO NOT USE
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. Service in Italy is fine but it is impossible to cancel your account or reccuring charges.
Linia di internet Iliad FA CACARE!!
Linia di internet Iliad FA CACARE!!! 🤮
Scammed by their representative and got robbed a second month!
If you want to know about the product itself, read the paragraphs below. But firstly an absolutely important warning it's imperative you know about, even though if you're here it is because you have already fallen for it: any Iliad reseller around Italy most likely gets a commission out of getting you hooked, and they will say and twist whatever to get you in, either by omitting information or directly lying about it. In turn, when you have problems that exceed anything technical, phone support would simply apologise and tell you they can do nothing about it, pretty much shrugging off your billing/account issues.
I was in need of internet connection just for the month of July, nothing else, and I was extremely emphatic about that with one of the resellers working at Expert City, Catania (and I am referring solely to the Iliad reseller I was dealt with by, not the rest or the Store staff, which tried to be as helpful afterwards as they could).
The Iliad representative replied by saying that the 300GB plan I chose, should I want it, could be topped up at any time during the year the SIM lasts.
He also mentioned that the GBs could used "in more than 70 countries other than Italy", and asked for my personal details, my credit card for the activation and, voila, the SIM was ready.
That was the 24th of June, Saturday, and he assured I would have to wait for a message from Iliad confirming the SIM was already active "potentially by Monday".
Come the 24th of July, Iliad automatically deducts a payment for the second month when I had no need or intentions for another 30 days being topped up.
I call their phone assistance and they point out my card details were there for and automatic monthly top up.
I point out that I have not been requested consent, and I was pretty clear in explaining my requirement, hence, requesting a refund and the cancellation of the service.
"I do apologise, but we cannot refund the money back, sorry. You might also want not to cancel your SIM, as should you need it again, you will have to pay for the activation of a new one. I can teach you how to switch the top up mode to manual". Much appreciated, your colleague should have done that from the very start.
And that's it, you're caught up in the "I am sorry" bit and the "well, it's not the phone agent's fault actually", and Iliad made yet another 2nd month out of a customer who only wanted 30 days of service and clearly expressed so to a dishonest seller.
And also brace yourselves to this: out of those 300GB you paid for in Italy, when in any of those "other 70 countries you can use the service in as well" you will only be allowed 15GB and nothing more.
Oh, and there was no "email of activation on Monday", it started working already that afternoon without me knowing, reason why I got charged on the 24th when I started using it just by testing on Monday 26th.
You will all be delighted to know, though, that when I came back to Expert City looking for further explanations I was welcomed with the news that that shady Iliad representative had been fired after less than one month of being hired, but numerous complains from other scammed customers.
Now, if you still want to take your chances, the connection has good speed, serves well multiple, simultaneous devices, and has good speed, although once or twice a month the network can have technical issues that render the connection unreliable and terribly slow.
MAKE SURE you change your card settings to go ahead.
P.S. If Iliad wants to refund my money back, as I did not use a single Megabyte off August, fine.
But do not come with a further apology message good for nothing.
Worst company ever.
Worst company ever.
I bought it for my 2 week stay in Italy and it was working fine, but when the time came to go home, I was unable to deactivate the SIM card and no one from their team was helpful whatsoever.
I contacted them through Facebook and the agent gave me two options, to deactivate it by sending them mail with a filled form and my ID information or to deactivate it through the web app.
Web app asked me for another Iliad number as a contact number to deactivate this one which was ridicules, it wouldn't take my personal number for it.
I got back to the agent and he told me to send a fax or call 177, which is their service desk, which didn't have English agents nor could I reach it from my country.
After that, he kept ignoring my messages, so I found a way to send a fax online.
After some time I got an email asking for more information which wasn't specified telling me to call 177.
I couldn't ask what information they needed since it was a no-reply email.
I tried getting back in touch with an agent for more information, but I didn't get anything back.
This issue still hasn't been resolved.
